Moonlit Winter

Female centered plot, melodrama, sad but healing. A story about girls' with dreams and their idea of happiness. One of the female lead is in love with a woman and had a sour relationship with the disapproving family, a journey/event lead them to repair the distant mother-daughter relationship and connect a bond with other women/girl.

In both films, the child of a queer parent unearths their parent's queer past by leaving home and, in doing so, changes the relationships around them in the direction of healing.

Both use poetry and symbolism to further the storytelling.
Both explore the melancholy and regrets of the MCs. The way both movies are shot gave me the same calm but also shattering atmosphere around the MCs.
Both portray LGBTQ+ relationships.
Moonlit Winter also depicts the MC’s relationship with her family.
