Short and kind of cute
I found the character of Hana to be endearing. She was strong and knew her own mind. The actress had a sweet and beautiful face and played her role without going over the top. However, there were many times that that ML came off as somewhat cartoonish in his expressions.I normally like shorter dramas without all the filler; however, this one felt like it needed something more. The age gap played a big role here, as it should have. I was surprised that no one seemed to blink at the fact that a 16-year-old was involved with a 26-year-old, especially her family.
The makeup/face/voice/laugh of the grandfather was just creepy.
Pretty abrupt, unsatisfying ending, again, probably owing to the age gap.

The story line is as straightforward as how the synopsis described and nothing additional. The ending was projected to be happy though not as exactly shown. But doesn't mean there will be a sequel either....
What I like - some scenes though predictable but still funny.
What I dislike - the drama is too short.

At first, I mistaken the title with Takane no Hana, but someone explain it to me and here I am reviewing thing drama. For me, this is the funny and light story. Takasugi Mahiro did a good job to be a snob and childish guy. A lot of funny scene, but the one I remember the most is when he kissed by Hana. I replay those scene over and over again to laugh again and again (^o^)
Unfortunately, this drama is quite fast and short. If they made it a little bit longer, maybe the flow will be smoother.

I recommend reading the manga after watching if you've never read it before. If you have, don't read it right before watching because you'll just end up comparing the two and there's no fun in that.

ITs aWfuL
I watched the first episode and my god it was boring it was like my finger was permanently stuck on the skip button not only is it boring it's sooooo cringy that I just couldn't and the worst thing about this dram is the male lead not only does his acting suck ass but the character he plays is so cringy and he was so rude but somehow the female lead fell in love on the first episode and not only that but with a man who has the worst personality in the world. No one could make finish this drama (except money)I would not recommend this drama to anyone.

Fluffy & Short.
This is my first review so please be patient with me :)I came across this at 4 am, seeing the number of episodes I gave it a chance. it was a decent little show. I do feel like it could have tied up loose ends. I also feel like it could go into detail in a few spots. I believe The actors/actresses did quite well. In all honesty, I wish it was longer. I didn't read the manga, so I can't really tell you if it's true to form. I love how they didn't make the age difference oddly not that icky. I wish we saw more on the side relationship with the side cast.

In real life, the main actor, Mahiro Takasugi, was only 23 while she was 17.
Ten years difference is nothing when she becomes 20 and he is 30. In real life, the main actor, Mahiro Takasugi, was only 23 while she was 17. I have seen on other dramas that the main couple are playing roles close in age and reviewers were up in arms because he or she is much older in real life so this really shouldn't bother anyone. One of the first Korean movies I watched was "My Little Bride" about an arranged marriage with a 17-year-old high school girl and an older friend who truly loved her. So the idea of such a marriage arrangement doesn't bother me. Anyhow, it is fiction so I thoroughly enjoyed this drama!Hana is spunky, tall, no shrinking violet, holds her own ground, and gives back to Takane all the verbal sparring that he dishes out. She is the first female to ever stand up to him and getting a dose of his own medicine is good for his narcissistic, spoilt demeanor.
Takane learns valuable lessons in character development; his pride suffers severe blows but his love and protection becomes admirable like that of an older brother, though it remains difficult for him to speak of his feelings. Being the strong silent type, which seems the cultural norm for Japanese men, I still came to adore him and root for his happiness with Hana, a female who is his equal in strong determination and bravado.
I found the romance beautiful because he is the faithful type, and she planted the first kiss, which shows her finesse in that she was up to this relationship. Girls of 16 are highly passionate and love deeply at that age so it's super great that her first love be someone she could love for a lifetime. I personally know two grandmothers who married their first love at age 15 until death do them part.
I liked the friendships portrayed in this drama, enjoyed the scenery, shipped the main couple, was glad there were no secondary couples to take away focus from them, and I thought the ending was sweet yet fun.
It brought smiles and keen anticipation to watch more of this couple's interactions, their cute dialogue and how they would overcome the obstacles to his career and their love story. I would love a second season!

23 year old man with a 13 year old girl?
Was a bit concerning at firs however, as the drama flowed it broke down any weird and uncomfortable feelings I thought I'd have towards this dram. I don't know maybe I'm just a sucker for love without much to little to no PDA at all, I love when the leads can just be friends and enjoy each others company whilst get to know as much as possible about each other before developing feeling, and even when feeling are involved everything isn't horny-fied or an impulse thing. If you enjoy those kind of drama I highly recommend, the 2 leads were great their acting does take a couple eps to get use to but other than that solid acting. Story is nice great pace for a 9 episode. Was this review helpful to you?
