Short But Packs a Punch
This was very hilarious in certain scenes, especially the sister's miscomprehensions. π ππ€£ βΊοΈI was surprised at how violent some teachers are. Smacking children's heads is not allowed in our country, especially by staff. I guess I'm not surprised that the children are allowed to bully when the teachers act that way. π€Όπ€ΌββοΈπ¨βπ«π±π€
The youth all played their parts well. The parents were decent though unaware. The guys in the gym were meant for comic relief, because bullying can be a heavy topic. π¨βπ©βπ¦ π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
This tackled a serious issue in schools but in an easier-to-handle comedy, rather than a dark, gritty way. πΌππππ
I thought that not seeking revenge was a valuable lesson. His motive to win was for the female lead's sake. It also showed how important it is to overcome our fear of others. A bully is rendered powerless when victims get past their fear. π₯β€οΈβπ₯

Steamy kisses
You need to know some important things in order to enjoy this drama, or it may trigger your emotional responses so you cannot perceive the love story of this ill-fated couple.The male lead survives miraculously by the sheer willpower of his love and determination to get back to her. If you have watched fantasy historicals, you know that heroes can survive unimaginable wounds, sometimes by taking a magic pill. The magic pill is love in this drama. I could visualize him climbing out of a pile of dead bodies by the force of his love. His miraculous survival continues right to the end, and it's like nothing can kill this man! This is a testament to the undying power of love.
I have never watched a man who would do anything, endure anything for his wife like this hero! And I've watched over 1688 Asian shows since 2002. He is almost superhuman, but his heart is all human, vulnerable, and affectionate. He is a hotblooded lover, and the steam-bath is both amusing and entertaining!
The female lead has loved only one man in her entire life. I watched the version where 42 episodes were put into 20 episodes, and you need to watch half the episodes to understand who that man always was and always will be! Meanwhile, this production may fool you. It certainly will evoke opposite reactions in viewers.
The little boy is great. The princess is one tough cookie. Prince Su is a good friend. Besides the main couple and these characters, no one else stood out for me. This is a drama that is not readily understandable unless you watch it from good translation editors. AI subs just don't cut it, and much meaning is lost without the written text being explained. The main couple sang the Closing OST, and if you watch with the lyrics, that is a special bonus. I, for one, like the fully-edited product.
Dramas like to play on the viewers' emotions so be forewarned about the ending episode. All is not what it seems until the very end! The screenwriter likes plot twists and turns. However, love wins the day!

Gorgeous Man with a Great Smile
The male lead is superb with a debonair smile and great devotion. This romance has lots of skinship, kisses and flirty dialogue. It even has a blissful ending which is quite rare in vertical dramas.I have seen this plot before, but this male lead does a tremendous job! The female lead is a surgeon and has self esteem!
I chuckled that the second male lead never seems to grasp what is happening right in front of him. Yet the male lead is very insightful, always proactive, and a hero from start to finish.
The romance seems believable. You can see that the male lead is smitten with love and attraction. I watched this on iQIYI app, but Jwells found several links on YouTube. Just search the comments section. This mini-drama made it onto many of my lists because I enjoyed it so much.

Sweet Great Husband
I was impressed with the male lead's care, protection and generosity toward the female lead. The back story near the end totally sold me on his character development.The female lead played the role of a cute, innocent university student. She was supposed to be naive about the world, and she emerged from a deprived background of an orphan, who was raised by her mother's gambler brother. Then she went to live with her mother's old friend who did treat her kindly.
I like a fake relationship that becomes real, a love that is kept secret for years then comes to fruition, and a romance that brings healing. By being loved unconditionally, the female lead gained self-esteem, learned to speak up for herself, realized her full potential as a computer expert, and became a sweet little wife.

I love how the male lead depicts a good father!
Final Update: This has been a wonderful ending! The female lead found the balance in her career, health and relationships that she needed. I was very pleased with her emotional and character development. The male lead received his just rewards and compensation, and people had a deserved resolution, including the evil woman!This was such a joy for me to watch! It was a romance done right! πβ£οΈπ
_____________
I love how the male lead depicts a good father! We need more dramas like this. Many single fathers now raise their children and do a loving, caring and intuitive job! Many men are house husbands while the partner has a tough career. π§π½
I think this drama shows that women need to do their jobs while still watching their health, emotions and body's resources. Men used to have the early heart attacks with their high-stress jobs. Now women are just as prone, as we can see with the female lead's high-pressure career.
I feel that the female neighbor and author is more like a good sisterly friend. The female CEO provides the opposite who attracts, creates sparks, a fitting challenge, and an enemies-to-lovers plot. She certainly doesn't pretend with the male lead, and I think that is a breath of fresh air. π¬οΈ
The one in authority has a painful past in most dramas, and she is no exception. I believe this will be a healing journey for her to meet such a wonderful man. I really think we need to see more kind, admirable men in dramas!
At the one-third mark, we see the male lead also has trauma issues. I feel the female lead is becoming approachable, and she is even affectionate with children. I chuckled at some funny moments, especially the chipmunk mouth and umbrella scene! β
At the halfway point, I think this drama is very lovely. I see the female lead wanting to be attractive to him, and he definitely desires her as a woman. I can almost see the very moment they fall in love. It's like time stops for them. π©ββ€οΈπ¨ββ€οΈ
Episode 8 was so moving that I laughed and cried. π₯π The romance is shaping up quite wonderfully! π€
Episode 11 shows a great relationship with the daughter and the female lead. The main couple's love relationship has solidified and weathered some storms. I think this is an excellent romance with some terrific kisses and affection.

This drama is a beautiful romance of youth.
What an inspirational love story that spans middle school through university graduation! I was moved to tears twice in incidents that involved the struggles of the male lead, but mostly I was smiling at the upbeat, exuberant, vivacious female lead.β₯οΈI was pleasantly surprised by the undying devotion, the notable efforts to fulfill promises, the refusal to separate, the gentleness of the male lead, the lack of jealousy and misunderstandings between the main leads, and the unique skills with wood that set this drama apart in a class of its own. I found it full of innocence of first love, and I like a wonderful tomboy who is strong in her own right.π
This drama is a beautiful romance of youth. It is particularly clean, pure, positive and uplifting to watch. There were some scenic panoramas, and I liked the camera work. The OST was subtle yet touched my emotions, and I found the lyrics quite appropriate. The ending was delightful and tied the theme together with an emotional payoff to this sterling school storyline.
The main leads were good looking and performed their parts with premium skill for such a young cast. I thought it dealt well with issues of society and the problems of young people who struggle to know their identity. I really liked the chosen careers and their creativity. I liked that there were no detestable parents or hardcore villains, and the seamy side of reality was never dwelt on to make the viewer depressed, although the male lead's issues were realistically presented.β
I generally don't like the side couples, but they didn't seem to steal the time and limelight from the main leads, probably because the main leads were so terrific to watch. This drama does have cohabitation, he falls first, role reversal where she takes the lead, and a genius with a not-too-bright student. She never gets a change in appearance but remains very natural and down-to-earth yet with such an appealing personality.
The drama did a superb job on how opposites attract yet cope in real life with understanding and tolerant acceptance. It capitalized on the chemistry and tension between the main couple, and it was still satisfactory until it all came together for them. There were also some gems of dialogue, and I thought this school romance was very well done.

The storyline captures with excellent creativity!
Are we all just victims of our fate with no way to comprehend or ever change our predetermined future? Do we really have choices in life, or are we just puppets and robots forced to live out our existence? We grow up believing the world revolves around us, viewing our environment in such a way that we are the center of our own universe, then one day we get a rude awakening that life isn't just about us after all. And none of us really are the masters of our own making. This is the amazing premise of this spellbinding storyline.On the surface, it appears to be a typical high school drama replete with handsome flower boys called the A3. One finds there are subtle, wry references to other high school dramas so memories of all those I've seen in the past came up for me, especially "Boys Over Flowers/Meteor Garden." On an obvious front is the essential K-drama full of any trope between a male and female lead.
BUT ON THE DEEPER LEVEL EXISTS A WHOLE NEW STORYLINE UNIMAGINED BY VETERAN VIEWERS OF K-DRAMA. And this is where the writing captures with excellent creativity! The girl we come to associate with reaches self-explanatory realization which casts her as an extra in her own world. Trying very hard and determinedly to thwart her predestination and forecast of future events, she keeps encountering the stronger will of her creator, coming against a brick wall of finding herself living out the motions.
The extra has such spunk that she summons everything within herself to desperately fight the arranged engagement for business and money purposes. She does all in her power to prepare against always being the fall guy or scapegoat who simply enables the main couple. Persistently she goes against her stereotypical role of the sickly, weak supporting cast who is only there to serve the will of whatever higher power controls her life script.
Finally one day, hope and illumination arrives in the form of a mysterious stranger. With her usual bravado, she tries everything to discover his identity using her heart, heart monitor and her back. For me, this is where the story really took off, and I was enraptured to view her extraordinary fighting against going-silently-into-the-dark-night of mediocrity and unfulfilled, meaningless existence.
For a fantasy, I think this is among the best of its kind, and the comic book world is reminiscent of "W" yet still in a distinction of its own. This is plenteous with ironic humor, the extra's witty comments being eloquent with tongue-in-cheek references and pointers. Her rising growth in consciousness, as well as the twists and turns of her romance, were fun to watch, if you get the message the writer conveyed. I found I was not simply entertained, but this penetrated my thinking and complacency.
These are only 30-minute episodes so it's just 16 full episodes. Lovely OST, far from average plot, beautiful cast, definitive fantasy, distinguished writing, exhilarating pacing, highly evocative theme, excellent hike in character development, illustrative of high school dramas but taking us where I have never gone before, while spanning emotions from despair and frustration to exultant joy, this romantic comedy deserves merit and its accolades.

Final Update: Oh, I am so pleased with how it turned out for my favorite couples! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Update Episode 15: We have just the finale to go. I loved the home dates! It was blissful to watch. The couples that paired were really great matches.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Update Episode 13: We have just three episodes to go. I'm excited about the outcome. It seems three women like Ji Min, but his heart is set on one. I hope it turns out that way. I'm glad for Ji Won and Woo Jae. The others are still uncertain who will pair with whom.
Wow, each couple get to spend two days in a house if they are paired. That's a really good idea for contemplating marriage.π‘π ποΈ
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Update Episode 12: It seems like anyone's guess who will end up with whom. None of the postcards from Italy seemed to pan out. I guess the romance of Italy is very different from daily life back home. ππ€
I wonder if one month is enough to know whom you're interested in for a lifetime. My husband says he knew it was me in a couple of weeks, but it took me almost a year.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Update Episode 10: I really am happy for the pilot because I think the new resident is closest to his age.
~~~~~~~~~~
Update Episode 6: I really like Ji Min's honesty. The producers make everyone have a second choice, but as Jim Min says, "It's insulting to the second choice."
I think it is realistic that we don't always know what is best for us, yet the heart wants what the heart wants. My husband pursued me until I found I loved him. I hope this works out for the best, and the women realize which man truly cares for them.

The villa in Tuscany is gorgeous with breathtaking views. π‘
It's easy to fall in love in such a romantic place. π
I am already surprised by how the love lines shaped up the first evening. πΉππΉ
I think it was a superb idea to ask 33 deep questions about relationships and marriage expectations. βοΈβ£οΈ
I doubt that many couples take the time to find if they are compatible in major areas of life. πππ

No more people-pleaser
I really enjoyed how the main leads experienced lessons in their lives, how they stumbled upon major realizations via stand-up comedy, and how they were willing to expand their horizons in order to find true freedom!I like romances, but this drama ends with the beginning of great possibilities among equally-devoted men. I found the ending to be innovative, positive and uplifting.
I like how the red dress plays a role in this drama. It makes an indelible impression.
I didn't laugh so much at the stand-up comedy, although I thought the comedy routines were witty. Some of the antics were funny. I felt very strongly about the bad, lazy colleagues!
As a whole, I found this drama inspiring, how one oppressed woman found her own voice to tell the world, "Here I am! I can finally be my true self!"

She has deep issues to resolve.
The male lead accompanies the female lead to revisit her past, in order for her to write her latest book "My Marvelous Fable." Her book is an anthology of short stories that somehow reveal a little of her past. They are portrayed in a style similar to "Twilight Zone." πShe has deep issues to resolve, especially with her ex-husband, who is psychotic. Because of her past, she finds it hard to love and trust a man again. Therefore, she self-sabotages any possibility of a relationship with the male lead. This causes the male lead large concern, and he can't take her anymore. But his heart is strangely drawn to her. π
He is the type who feeds stray cats, does good deeds, and is very caring. He works as her editor in fulfillment of his friend's bucket list.
At first, it seems this is a comedy, but soon delves into hard lessons about discontent, greed, guilt, and domestic abuse. If you are prepared for it, then you may find this is depicted well, unfolds interestingly and has beautiful scenery.
I would say it's a good noona romance, and the ending is resolved nicely. Miles brings his acting chops as he does in every drama I have seen with him in it. It certainly deserves nine stars, and if you like suspense, you may even give it ten stars. π

The drama title is the key to unlock the metaphors in this love story.
This movie has stupendous cinematography for its time! The use of mirrors was stunning in details, producing a total effect of mesmerizing angles. It is rated restricted, but there's no bad violence, just some very adult scenes. Great skinship is displayed in a simple touch of her hair and all the way to physical passion.ββBae Yong Joon was the first Korean star I ever watched, and now I understand why I was so captivated by his acting. I really don't think I have seen a male star cry with such pathos as he quietly, heartrendingly does on this show! The psychology of these leads is compelling as he grieves his losses. ββ
Son Ye Jin was totally arresting in her depiction of a woman who comes face to face with the most painful truths. Yet her devotion and meticulous care, in full glare of these truths, are beyond creditable! I know I couldn't do it. She portrays the hurtful blows to her self-esteem with such mastery that if you are a Son Ye Jin follower, you will not want to miss her depth of acting in this profoundly serious but very excellent romance!ββ
The drama title is the key to unlock the metaphors in this love story. Her favorite season, his favorite season, and the miracle which can combine the two seasons occurs, then they will be united for their lifetime. βοΈβοΈ So viewers must watch the clues carefully! For those who don't understand the ending, watch the scenery as the ending credits roll. It's beautiful, wistful, celebratory, strangely peaceful, symbolizes renewal, and it moved my emotions.

Unique storyline like a fairy tale
In over 22 years that I've been watching Asian dramas, I found this to be a unique storyline, more like a fairy tale.I really like the concept of pure yin and pure yang, that despite all of our human flaws and failures, something still exists that is pure. I think that down deep, we all seek pure love, but somehow such chances are rare. For me, that was the appeal of the plot. Our own humanity's errors get in the way of finding a pure love as revealed in this mini-drama.
I watched the short version then the longer, original one for my unanswered questions. I wish I had watched the longer one first, then the second shorter version. For those who don't understand the ending, he donates his heart's blood, which I have also seen in a historical drama. It's not a heart transplant, but AI translations don't make total sense in English. She sees him in the ending, and now it's her turn to find him all over again. Therefore, I interpret it as a hopeful ending for their happiness, as she has learned the truth.
I would class this as a fake relationship that becomes real love. By the time the main couple consummate their marriage, he has come to love her, and she sincerely desires his health and well-being. He truly has been deceived to believe it won't harm her, for he has reached the point that he would never do it for her sake, but because he desperately wants to live, he proceeds thinking she won't be harmed.
The female lead misunderstands because she overheard his earlier words, when he didn't know her and cared only about living. I guess there is no other plot device to use but misunderstanding; otherwise, she would cure him unselfishly, and the plot's tension would be lost.
The character growth in him is that he was willing to die rather than cause her death. This alone is very heartfelt. She matures a lot from a naive country bumpkin to a mother. The little girl stole the show with her sweet pleadings and heroic efforts for her mother. This could be a longer drama with deep angst, but I doubt my feelings could take it!

Off the charts skinship!
This story starts off with EXTREME love-hate, and you need to hold on until Episode 5 out of 8 to see some light at the end of the tunnel. βππ΄π΅π£π’π π£π‘βͺπ§ΏThe skinship is allowed because they didn't censor mini-dramas then, although they passed regulations to start doing so currently. π©ββ€οΈβπ¨ π
I have met two people who survived a shot to their heads and heard their personal testimonies. So it is a rare phenomenon, but it can occur. Anyway, this is a drama, and anything can happen in such a storyline. People who had brain surgery have had their skulls cut. I read of one man who had shrapnel remaining in his head and lived a normal life. π€―
This passionate romance is compelling. I watched it in a day. Some parts are blissfully happy, and some are deeply provoking. You are either going to love or hate this drama. β₯οΈπ
I watched for the skinship and the star-crossed lovers who overcame all the huge obstacles to their love. It is a positive ending that happens two years later. Yes, it is her because the medical staff called her "Meng," which is the female lead's name. π©ββ€οΈ
He is a soldier and survives many wounds. If you watch historical dramas, the people survive all kinds of perilous injuries and falling off cliffs, etc. This isn't rare in a historical, but what is exceptional is the amount of skinship for so few episodes. For that alone, this romance is noteworthy. π

Hope and transformation n times of heartbreak
What a lovely drama full of hope and transformation n times of heartbreak! The ending is sweetly positive and left me with a good feeling.After reading the reviews, I thought this would be a tear-jerker but it brought me smiles and satisfaction when the female lead used the major life event to make her life what she really wanted! The main leads were great and their love was special. Good skinship. π
I liked their relationship journey and how both their lives and characters were enhanced by each other. Don't let the fear of a sad ending put you off this drama like I did, because I didn't cry and it's a very pleasant surprise to find how it ends! π
The OST was romantic and upbeat. The storyline was both touching and inspirational! This shows that everyone needs happy plans and should dare to fulfill your bucket list. I loved the female lead's makeover both internally in courage and externally in realizing her beauty potential.
I fully support the life lessons that no one has any guarantee of tomorrow; we need to live each day doing things which make us happy; what matters is not money or power but the ones we love; it's never too late to find love, and every day is a wonderful miracle! What a super meaningful, heartfelt drama, well-acted, and it adds a beautiful scent to life.

He expands in emotional quotient.
The allure for me is Dilraba, whose beautiful face reveals every emotion. Enterprising and earnest as the female lead who bounces back with fervent spirit against the odds stacked against her, she plays a confident, effective woman. Her wardrobe is creative and her dialogue sparkles with wit and self-assurance. πI liked the fashion part of this drama very much with its artistry and fierce competitive aspects. This reveals that ability requires nurture and hard work to develop to its maximum potential. Several people are set out in contrast as using others to achieve success, manipulating circumstances and selling their morals, whereas our brave young woman keeps blossoming and developing in honest talent.π
This was my first time watching the male lead and his rugged good looks. His role impressed me as a business savvy CEO who is blunt but fascinating to watch. He expands in emotional quotient, especially in dealing with females under his watchful eye. I liked the fact that he was so open and an up-front kind of man whose feelings of affection were not coldly or ashamedly hidden.β₯οΈ
The romance is flirty and good-humored. The storyline is not very heavy on the handling of crisis after crisis, but rather the ongoing relationships which are in keeping with a romantic comedy. I liked the interdependence of their careers. The OST is lovely. Some beautifully sentimental scenes, which are a feast for the eyes, are presented for viewers' pleasure. The cover photo is monochromatic to make their faces stand out, and I came to feel real kinship with this colorful "Love Designer" cast of wonderful talent.
