A TRIGGER WARNING IS NEEDED FOR THE BEGINNING
I absolutely love everything about this story. The acting is great and the chemistry between the characters is great and the story is sweet but my one main problem is the very first scene. It was very triggering for me and I doubt I'm the only one so that's my main thing. I wish there would be a huge trigger warning in the beginning.I started watching this because I wanted to see a drama with Bounprem and ended up with several new ships I love. The way the pretty and delicious looking thai deserts were tied into the story always made me hungry watching lol.

Revolutionary for its time.
To be honest, when I watched it during its release , it was the only thing i was thinking about however I feel like I kinda forgot about it to a point where I couldn’t bring myself to watch it. One of the strongest points in the whole show is def the acting. Earth was acting his ahh out in this. So yeah I would recommend watching it if u haven’t but personally I feel like I won’t ever watch it again .Was this review helpful to you?
puts the drama in BL drama! a classic
This series was a rollercoaster of a series! I think this was my second ever BL series that I watched from Thai production. I did not know what the story was about - except for guessing that it was about some reincarnated lovers from the title. So I was quite shocked when the first 10 minutes had the two maincharacters literally offing themselves with a gun.I think this deserved a trigger warning for that!
Other than that: the story was intriguing and fun though I wish we'd gotten more screentime for Korn/In also as separate characters living their lives with their friends and family (I especially loved korn's younger brothers) and cut back on some of the side couples (especially manaow and her love interest - i wasn't feeling the chemistry tbh)
Anyways, I think this is also one of those BL drama's that you NEED to have watched, it's such a classic and for it's time period quite impressive and well-thought out. There's also a lot of segments on Thai cuisine and culture which I always adore.
I am of the opinion though that this is one of those series that you can only watch once because of the plot: it won't feel the same after i think and it's also not really a comfort series

Best plot ever!!!
Now, this is what you call a storyline. A BL with such good plot, one of a kind. Acting - Top notch. Seen many red string fate stories but this was way better than anything else. Pharm I'll never forget your crying and your cute P'Deaaaaaan... All the couples were like sculpted to perfection Ohm-Fluke, Boun-Prem, Kao-Earth... Chef's kiss must say... The switch between past and present was very well done. Overall a 10… There's a reason why people call UWMA the best BL... Contemplated watching it when people said it's a sad drama.. But this is anything but a sad drama... Though Pharm cries every episode... this isn't a sad drama... Just go watch it...Was this review helpful to you?

The show started strong with Earth Katsamonat's acting drawing me in, especially the chemistry between Earth & Kao as Korn & Intouch. However, the main plot with Dean & Pharm was almost unbearable due to the lack of chemistry between Fluke & Ohm. Their insta-love felt unbelievable, & their bland BL Couple vibe was off-putting. The side plot of Team & Win was the best part, with a playful & flirty dynamic rarely seen BL. Prem & Boun's real-life relationsh-p translated win screen, making their Story more realistic, Production wise, music was too loud. The insta-love & slow
pacing ruined the show's potential.

Love and Loss in spades
This show was a masterpiece and a roller coaster of emotions. I teared up for 17 episodes straight. The acting from the 4 main leads were exceptional, esp. Natouch. That man was made to cry on screen. UWMA Is a beautiful and heartbreaking story that shows the tragic consequences of not being accepted by those you love, but also the joy and relief that comes from finding the piece of your soul that was missing for so long. Highly recommended for those wanting a powerful, emotional-driven journey (but bring tissues!!)Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting concept but poorly executed
Everything looks good on paper. The idea of reincarnation and the cute couples. Then I realize nothing is really happening and the couples are awkward. The first episode surprised me. I wasn't sad though because I just started the series and I can't feel anything with people if I don't really know them. The most interesting part of the series was Dean trying to be Pharm's boyfriend in the first several episodes. The rest of the show gets boring. Lots of long staring. It's good once in a while but too much of it will lose the magic, so nothing felt dramatic or had its moment. So much fillerrrrssssss. The rest of the episodes is mostly Dean and Pharm trying to be cute together. I wouldn't mind if there was more chemistry with them, but it was just so plain. They stare into each other's eyes, Dean acts cute or naughty towards Pharm, and Pharm bashfully says "P'Dean!" Pretty much their whole relationship.
I like Pharm's character. Even though he was shy, he still stood up for himself. Dean is just there.
Intouch and Korn's relationship was weird to me. Intouch smiles too much. I don't know why Korn fell for Intouch. All Intouch did was bother Korn until he decided to tolerate his annoying clingy behavior.
TeamWin all the way <3 haha. They had more chemistry than the main characters. Both the past and present.
The shipping team was annoying. First of all, everyone is somehow gay in this series, yet everyone is always adoring Dean and Pharm together.
The OSTs was great. Well, the ones without the background music and just the singing made me cringe every time it was used during the series. Otherwise, the songs were catchy.
This series was too long. I wouldn't recommend watching it unless you're into blank stares.

True love will always find a way
I was somewhat hesitant to watch this as I like stories to develop at a reasonable pace and some reviews criticised the slow burn however as one of the reasons was to see Win, I took a chance.Loved the story of love surviving death and crossing over through reincarnation - love everlasting.
Actors were on top form, though the character of Pharm did irritate me a little - his timidness and constant
P'Dean!;.. goodness you have a such a beautiful looking man laying next to you.. stop pushing him away and let loose a little!!!
Loved the developing relationship between Win and Team and looking forward to watching Between Us. Win's efforts to seduce Team were always hilarious.. 10/10 for effort Win! And Team.. confused but such a tease!
The final episode with the red thread had tears rolling down my face it was so moving.
The series could have been shortened to 12 episodes and I did fast forward several times but it's definitely worth a watch.

the family tree was confusing
okay, i love the plot of this series so much. it's not the usual engineering college romance you'd find in most BLs. i love this series so much because it has an original plot, it has amazing acting, it's well-directed, and it showed the struggles of people in LGBTQ+ community, especially since homosexuality was something not a lot of people were open about in the old days. in korn and inntouch's era you can see how much they struggled to keep their relationship because of their family and people around them. they weren't accepted until their death. but during pharm and dean's era everyone was very accepting and they could love each other without any problems. dean and pharm was born into korn and intouch's family so i was lowkey worried they would be related, but thanks to a comment explaining their family tree and all, im glad they aren't. i cried A LOT watching this, i get pretty attached to characters so it's not a surprise, but i kinda felt their struggles as i am also part of the LGBTQ+ community and what's worse is that my family is very religious and strict about stuff. overall, the story was a 10/10 for me.the actors, bro they did AMAZING. kao and earth's chemistry omg.. i found out that all the senior actors here are highly respected actors in thailand, as they also won a few awards for it. i read a comment saying that in an interview, the director said that the actor of dean's grandmother (or intouch's niece) cried REAL tears even when she wasn't on screen, they're really dedicated to this.
this series really gives out a strong message and i loved it SO MUCH. i was totally hooked the first time i watched it but it was pretty long and kinda boring most of the time, either way, i still love it!!

Great plot, but poorly written.
Oh boy, what an adventure. I know this show got lots of fans, but mostly for the cast in my opinion.I would like to blame the director for the acting issue. I won’t say that they are bad actors, but their acting was very forced sometimes while without expression in others.
Fluke is really good. I was shocked at how easily he cries and how he can pass that shy/depressed/confused boy. He reminded me of Gun Atthaphan. Both started acting young, so they got experience… Fluke carried all his scenes with Ohm on his back.
Ohm has potential, but he needs to improve his acting skills. Watching him and Fluke acting was hard, because you can see Fluke doing a lot, for both, and this is not good. I can see that Ohm had some difficulties in understanding his character.
I know they are going to do another show, so I hope Ohm has a chance to study more and get better. If not, he will always be the “good looking guy that can’t act but is there for his appearance” check CW/Warner shows.
Earth/Cooheart (I think he changed his name) is good. I think he did a decent job, but I won't lie, I skipped most of his scenes because I found the character very annoying. I can't stand people who force themselves on others.
Kao surprised me because he had amazing chemistry with Earth. They were so good acting together, yet outside the show, they were just working colleagues. But that hasn't changed the way they acted together. For me, it shows that you understood the job and the character.
BounPrem / WinTeam my babies. I was so in love with them and their story. They were the reason I kept watching the show. I liked that Win wasn’t afraid to say to Team what he was feeling and not even pretend who he was. Win stereotype would be seen as someone who could never be in a relationship, let alone a relationship with a man. And Team also learned how to be more open, but please the amount of chips he consumed the whole series made me worried about his health, lol.
Overall: Great plot, but poorly written. They didn’t know how to use it, so I was bored most of the time and had very slow pacing. I found myself looking for more WinTeam scenes than DeanPharm. And I can't wait for “Between Us”.

I did not know love until I watched UWMA
Okay listen. I’ll admit the reincarnated lovers trope drew me in but omg I was shocked at how brilliant this show was. The chemistry of the characters, the storyline, everything was spot-on. I was so invested in the love story. The characters really made me feel for them and I was definitely rooting for them in the end.My only (very minimal) critiques:
I did want to see more of Win/Team but that may just be a personal preference. I love them so much. I would def watch a Win/Team spin-off.
Ja’s horrible wig. Who did that to him? I just wanna talk 😡
