Nice and refreshing plot
I just recently started watching BL drama … and this one is the only one so far that really « touched » me, soo much that even without realising it I had tears running down my face.I’ve seen work of Fluke and Ohm before and I like seeing them play together … but in this series it was much more the very excellent acting of Kao and Earth that touched me. There relation was much more intense and not only from the storyline but very much so from their interacting and their chemistry together which felt more sincere and real. These two actors can go very far in this business if they’re well represented.
Refreshing also is the « chaotic » interaction between Boun and Prem. You got to love them immediately … and I did.
For me this series is so far ranked among the best at the same level as « Never let me go » , « Manner of death » and the a bit less serious « Cutie Pie »

This one of a few very interesting story about reincarnation. And they watch over the quality of the story until the end. But still this also need a little bit more explanation too in the end....This tell story about 2 couple, Korn-Intouch & Dean-Pharm. Korn-Intouch are the preliminary or first couple & Dean-Pharm are the following or second couple. Dean-Pharm are the incarnation of Korn-Intouch.
Korn-Intouch suicide because their relationship wasn't approved by their parents. Korn whose can't take the pressure anymore killed himself first & Intouch following him afterwards cause he just can't live without Korn. And afterwards, their parents tied a red thread in their body, cause legend said it can connect & make them find each other in their next life.
Now Dean & Pharm. Pharm often had sad dreams that wake him with a wet face. When Pharm first saw Dean, he felt sad & had familiar feeling toward him, it's like finding someone he's been waiting for. And turn out Dean himself also has spent his life searching for someone whose face he can not remember. And after met Pharm, Dean also having dream and wake up with a wet face. When the story rolled we get more & more clear view about Dean-Pharm as the incarnation of Korn-Intouch.
How the story evolved? What the tangled things Dean-Pharm need to untangled about Korn-Intouch past life...? How Dean-Pharm relationship progress...? It's all unraveled quite beautifully in this drama. Just leaving me with some questions that they don't quite bothered to explain, or just me being not understand....
What I like:
+ Fluke Natouch Siripongthon is amazing to play Pharm. Especially toward the end when all the crucial memory of Intouch really took over & haunted Pharm.
+ The amazing connection between Korn-Intouch & Dean-Pharm. All the surprise in the end. It just amazing & very interesting...
+ I really like the characteristics of Dean & Pharm. Pharm with his calmness, never really get angry over his friends teasing & Dean with his firmness. They never really get jealous over something stupid. But in my opinion, at the same time this also their shortfall, cause I think sometimes their friend tease too much, but Dean nor Pharm show any irritation / emotion.
Overall this really one good story about the amazing thing about reincarnation or our past lives. For my question I think I'll put in the SPOILER ALERT below.
Below is SPOILER ALERT!!! Read it with ur own risk.
==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================
My question:
* What exactly make Intouch so traumatized...? I meman yeah maybe because of their family pressure that make Korn take his own life. But I mean that's just one stupid reason to begin with.
* Why Korn feel the need to apologize to Intouch. Cause he killed himself first and leave Intouch behind...? Nah.... That's also doesn’t make sense.
* One fast flip attitude from Korn's dad. After Korn & Intouch death we can see that their dads really change their attitude completely, like flip 180°. And for me that's not make sense. No one change their attitude that fast, even because of the regrets.

OhmFluke is Life!
Things that I liked about the series:- First off, the actors/actresses throughout the show were all amazing, especially the main casts. Fluke, who plays Pharm in UWMA, is my favorite actor in all of BL and him playing as Pharm was phenomenal. I felt every emotion he felt and I was rooting for his relationship with Dean.
- The chemistry that both Fluke and Ohm, who plays P'DEEEEEAN, was a sight to behold. The pair just oozed chemistry off the screen, and honestly my favorite ship in all of BL currently.
- Also, and I stand by this 100%. Pharm and Dean have the HEALTHIEST RELATIONSHIP IN BL!! It's rare to see a show where the couple actually talks when something is bothering them, or bring up consent, or protective sex. Please, can we have more of this!?!
- Now let's talk about the storyline. OMG THE STORY IS BRILLIANT!!! This is the best love story I have ever seen in a show or movie, or have ever read in a novel. BL or non-BL this is the best love story ever. Not only that, but the Romeo/Juliet reincarnation concept is so unique and beautifully portrayed. The strong attention to the smallest details that ties the story together, such as the birthmarks on Pharm and Dean's temples, the legend of the Red Thread of Fate (Which is real BTW), even the idea of In and Korn switching families when reincarnated as Pharm and Dean, were all well thought out. A lot of credit goes to the original author of the story Lazysheep for creating this masterpiece of a story.
Things that I didn’t like about the series:
There really isn't much I didn't like.
- I will admit that some scenes dragged on longer than necessary. A lot of people mentioned the long stares that seem to happen throughout the series, and unfortunately, I have to agree with them. The constant staring in silence for long periods of time could've been cut down some. When it happens to Pharm and Dean, I can understand why given that I read the actual novel that the series is based on, but it makes it harder for those who haven't to understand what all is going on in their heads.
- The same could also be said for the flashbacks. In the book, it's mentioned that Pharm and Dean see the flashbacks in their dreams, but the minute they wake up, all the details are left completely blank. It's only until they start spending more time together that the details slowly begin to reveal themselves. But you wouldn't know that unless you either read the book or would've guessed it. When you have a story this complex, it's kind of hard to SHOW the smaller details like this rather than TELLING it, but not showing it leaves viewers in the dark about what's going on.
- Now I love Win and Team as a pair, but I feel like they've stolen the show from Pharm and Dean, which irks me to no end. Not that there's anything wrong with them, but I wish they saved their relationship for the spinoff. I wanted the show to be focused on more of Pharm/Dean and In/Korn.
- I also think things were starting to get repetitive, but at the same time I understand why. I just feel like they could've done more.
Overall Thoughts:
If it wasn't obvious at this point, then let me spell it out for you. I FREAKING LOVE THIS SERIES! This is a top tier masterpiece in my book, even with the flaws it has. You rarely find a healthy couple like Pharm and Dean in a show, so to see it here was a breath of fresh air. The storyline alone is brilliant, and the cast and crew overall did a great job bringing this story to life. There were a few missteps, but nothing that hindered me from enjoying this series. I laughed, I cried, and gushed, and cried, and cried, and cried some more!! All the tears, I swear! Ohm and Fluke did an amazing job portraying Dean and Pharm, and I hope to see them again in another series. I know they'll be replaying their roles in WinTeam's spinoff, so I'm looking forward to that. This will be a high ranking BL for me, and I fullheartedly recommend this show to anyone who enjoys BL, a complex storyline, and proof that true love conquers all including time.
Rank: 9/10

The Soul's Journey & the Characters it Plays <3
Rated= 8.5~ 36.5/50 ~ 7.3RPG Scene // Mermaid's Invitation for tea in the Enchanted Forest. Staff summoned all the Food
In my usual awkwardness that has plagued my life, I watched Between Us first, UWMA's sister story showcasing the side couple's journey. And honestly, I actually think I prefer Between Us over this one but that's more to do with it being closer to my own personal tastes. I rated this one slightly higher, so my own personal aesthetics do not take away from how touching the plot is for Until We Meet Again.
The show opens in 1988, with the tragic ends of two lovers, Intouch and Korn driven to suicide by their domineering fathers determined to separate them.
In modern 2019, we meet our MLs, an extremely petite and delightful little cinnamon roll Pharm, a first year at University, and our tall, dark and brooding Dean, President of the swim club. The two connect instantly and slowly begin to piece together their tragic past lives while falling in love.
I usually don't like the constant flashback style type of plot flow. It's too much of an info dump and I find it jarring but they managed to keep it's consistency by being relevant to what was happening to our modern MLs. So it didn't bother me as much.
I absolutely fell in love with Pharm in Between Us and he was just as adorable in this series. Both ML's were very stereotypical however, their relationship was, I found, surprisingly healthy as my usual experience with BL's is very sex driven. This wasn't. The characters started off already with a deep unexplained connection and it was allowed to slowly unravel. Dean was a green flag most of the time and I almost take offense to Pharm being tagged as 'a crybaby male' as his reasons for crying were pretty legit. He was however, a little babied by Dean but I didn't find it too much and it suited the characters and situations.
I did feel like it followed the kind of Japanese BL I would have loved as a kid, and the show's consistent nod to Japanese culture feels like I may have picked up on those vibes a little.
As reincarnation is a theory that I personally believe in, this one hit more of a spiritual cord than my heart strings. A little detail that I really loved was Pharm's signature colour was yellow (one of my favourites too) and Korn is wearing a yellow shirt the night they die. Another detail is how confident and pushy Intouch is vs how soft and meek Pharm is, yet both characters have a generally cheery disposition, or his love for cooking & baking Thai desserts, and how the first thing he ever cooked was an omelette. It's those little details that tie back into the reincarnation belief, that our soul's carry little things from one life to the next, like picking up it's favourite things to bring with it into it's new life. The mind forgets, the body dies but the soul goes on and it takes some of it's memories with it. I personally loved that little touch.
My foresight was strong with this one. I absolutely called those twists LOL because it allows, not only for the ML's to finish their karma but also the family as a whole as well.
I was a little stumbled on how easily the surrounding characters believed in Dean and Pharm being reincarnated loved ones but I suppose it allowed for some healing for those characters, so it's a minor complaint. I would have loved to have seen an outcome for Intouch's bestie who, although only seen 3 times, clearly cared a lot about him and I would have liked to have seen him appear somewhere just as a conclusion for that character.
As for side characters, I think if I had watched this one first, I would still have been in love with Win's character. In fact I actually found him funnier in this one but that's usually the job of the support leads lol
The acting over all was pretty good. It wasn't too over the top despite some of the scenes, and the crying felt natural. Surprisingly, it was actually a scene at the end, when Korn's brother finds his candy in the fridge. That one little scene hit me the hardest perhaps because it was simple. It was a reminder for the viewer, or perhaps just for me as a viewer, that it was those little things, that even though Korn has been reborn and is alive as Dean, Korn is still gone and he left behind two little brothers who had to continue living without him. It's a sad truth within my own spirituality. I may go on to where ever I need to go, but I'll never be me again.
There is, and will only ever be, one of you <3
I have to confess though, that I didn't really like the music. I'm finding that those vocal tracks over emotional moments are the norm for Thai dramas but I found it a little cringey at times with this one. But again, that may be just down to personal tastes as I didn't like the music in general in this show.
Overall, I would have no issue watching this again. Often BL's seem to focus on the BL aspect and everything else is an add on, but this time, it actually focused on the plot, which was reincarnated lovers, and the karma is that they are two men, and I really appreciate that for the genre.

6.5 as a BL drama, 8.0 as a cooking show
So, I started watching UMWA because I wanted to watch Between Us and thought I should watch UMWA first. I definitely recommend doing so, btw.UMWA's reincarnation plot is interesting, different for sure. The flashbacks to the past are well incoporated, you notice the difference. Maybe that's (also) the reason though, why especially the first half feels so dragged out. It's a long drama, most probably because it it tells us the story of 2 pairs. Simultaenously, it felt too long. I got bored often times. The second half had better pacing but that's because the first half built everything up.
The little angst at the end felt like it cane out of nowhere. I feel like the problem of "Do we really like each other for each other or because of KornIn?" Should have been raised way earlier and dealt with differently.
Besides that, the leads have really cute moments together, besides that I feel like theres not much substance to their pairing. Pharm cooks a lot, I appreciate learning about Thai dessert. And Dean...swims....occasionally....I believe.... 'cause we never see the guy actually training.
Acting wise, I felt like Fluke had three major emotions on his face the first half: *shocked/doesnt know what to say*
*cries*
*smile*
He gets way better in the second half. Ohm's face is working hard, but not on emotions.
I think acting wise I preferred KornIn's leads.
WinTeam is fun, but seems random almost if you don't know they get a whole show besides them.
What the script does really well though is the friendship between Pharm, Team and Manow (Queen!). Very fun to watch.
So overall, it's still a legendary thai BL, you notice how it's a bit older. The style often reminds me of Love Sick/Love by Chance. I think it's enjoyable enough.

An outstanding show
Well, I didn't expect to cry every single episode but I did. The raw emotion the actors are able to project with just a look or their body language is stunning and shows what raw talent this whole cast has. The acting was some of the best I've seen in my limited number of BL's watched, but still amazing. The friendships in this show were some of my favorite things about it. The relationship between Manow, Team, and Pharm is so wholesome and it feels like the characters have known each other for years instead of months.
I got invested in the side characters almost as much as I was invested in Dean and Pharm, especially Team and Win. I can't wait to watch their series next.
I think the ending felt a little rushed in my opinion. I think one more episode would have helped with the pacing of the show, but everything was wrapped up nicely and I couldn't have asked for a better ending.
I will definitely be following all the actors in this show throughout they're careers, they are a very talented bunch.

the music drove me insane
my biggest complaint I had about this series was the music. it was like the director/editor (I don't really know who makes decisions on the score) was scared of there EVER BEING A SILENT MOMENT. There was constant background music that was not mixed well, and often times it was the same volume or louder than the dialogue, which made it really distracting and hard to immerse myself in most scenes. there were sooooo many scenes where they were just going about their daily tasks and there was super annoying loud goofy background music!!other complaints I have:
- the constant pervasive presence of the LAYS. I understand they are your sponsor but oh my lord 😭😭 Team always seemed to have a bag of Lay's glued to his hand
- Pharm always looked scared every time Dean tried to initiate a kiss 😭
- They introduced MASSIVE CONFLICT in the very last episode and then resolved it almost immediately, essentially removing any real stress about their relationship and essentially decreasing the stakes back down to zero. it would have made sense if Pharm had slowly started doubting their relationship as the series progressed, instead of just suddenly starting to feel that way in the last episode. And then you don't even have to wait it out, it just time jumps 3 months and they almost immediately get back together.
- It felt a bit weird to me that Dean changed his surname to Intouch's and gave Pharm In's ring. Yes, they accepted that they were the reincarnation of Korn and In, but I thought that they were trying to convey that it was time to move on and let them go, and move on with life as Dean and Pharm. Dean giving Pharm In's ring just kind of felt like... he didn't want to let it go. That he always wanted Pharm to be reminded of who he was? Because the ring would kind of be a constant reminder. But Pharm seemed ok with it I guess.
Things I liked:
- I am just a huge sucker for the fated love/reincarnation/red string of fate trope. I will watch pretty much anything that has it in there.
- The scene in the grocery store where Dean and Pharm come face to face for the first time and lock eyes.... ELECTRIC. I think my heart skipped a beat. I feel like Fluke is great at conveying emotions with his eyes and that scene just made me feel on the very edge of my seat. The shock, the memory flashback, and then the outpouring of tears. I think it was great and that scene alone sucked me into the series.
- Pharm setting boundaries.
- I think the show had an interesting group of side characters whom I felt invested in. I loved Team, Win, Manow, and Del as characters. I'm excited to watch Team and Win's spinoff.
Overall, it was an enjoyable watch, and I see why people love the show. But the music combined with the rushed pacing at the end kind of ruined it for me, and I don't see myself rewatching it. I do plan on watching the spinoff about Team and Win though.

Winteam for the win
This serious is a mix of really serious, but slow and beautiful BLs and of the typical comedy university BLs. The story of Dean and Pharm is more serious and "sad" (regarding their "past lifes") and everything regarding the life at university in the present and the other side couple are more like the typical Thai engineering BL.First of all, I still don't understand why they didn't make the time line more evident, like show when this all happened between Intouch and Korn, at least use a filter too show that it was long time ago. It didn't bother me too much though, after I figured out who is "from the past" and who's not.
And I wish Dean and Pharm would have more dialog and less awkward scenes (where they don't talk and there is just this awkward silence). And they're story was a little bit too long-paced for me and I'm not sure if I really feel their chemistry. But I'm probably just not a fan the character type of Dean (like not being too expressive).
And they get outshined by the side couple, Win and Tim. They just can't compete with the chemistry Bounprem(winteam) have. It was a little bit sad that Win and Team had so little scenes (I watched their sequel "Between us" and honestly.... they are better at staying the side couple) . The pacing generally was a little bit too slow for me and they could have shorted it a bit and maybe put more Bounprem scenes in this series instead of making a whole series only for them.
And I have to mention that I absolutely loved InKorn, they have chemistry. Honestly I liked them more than their incarnations.
Honestly, I'm not really into the whole "incarnations" thing generally, but I enjoyed UWMA anyways. This was my first BL ever and when I first watched it, I gave it a 9,5/10, but right now, having rewatched some of the scenes, I'm don't think I would rate it that high again having watched many other BLs, so I give it 9 (probably it would have been 8,5 if it wasn't so nostalgic for me).

Soooo heartbreaking and emotional
Omw this series is sooooooo fireball good. This director is good . This series had me literally emotional. The way they incorporated the first guys stories with the different flashback. Literally had me crying. I was cussing also. Why can't some parents mind their business and let their kids love who they want. That starting when they committed suicide I was so angry at their parents. On episode 2 right now and it's still playing with my emotions. Can't wait to see how this will play out with the family, the couples and everything. Another thing what I enjoyed was the female cast she had me screaming. Her head ain't good at all. There's always that one friend🤣🤣🤣 Would I rewatch this series, No. To me it was to emotional. Was this review helpful to you?

An incredible emotional rollercoaster
This series is one of the only that has actually had me in tears on multiple ooccasions. Even though we dont see them much, i developed an attachment to korn and in and i feel like they told their story in such a beautiful way. I do agree with some people that it was a bit too long but honestly im just glad we finally have a bl with more than 12 episodes lol. Boun prem were *chefs kiss*The ost (idk what its called) is literally such a bop, ive listend to that song like 1000 times. It felt a bit unnecessary to add but im glad that pharm established a clear boundary with dean in regards to the sex stuff when he wasn't ready for it, its nice to see the most basic form of consent in a bl

Perfect Series
I'll start by saying that this was my first Thai drama ever: I was on YouTube when I randomly saw one of its trailers. Therefore it has a significance that overcomes the work itself and influences a part of my life. Indeed UWMA introduced me to the Thai drama world and encouraged me to deepen that world, making me passionate from the first episode.Since the beginning of 2020, this drama has been my touchstone: I usually compare every new series to this one. I always think I was lucky to start with UWMA. Although there are some "questionable" scenes, overall the work seems to be well-balanced:
- there are cliches but they aren't that unpleasant
- great equilibrium between main and side couples
- the story is captivating, the suspense and mystery amiable and long enough. And I love the red thread trope <3
- supportive and enjoyable music (I downloaded at least two songs)
- the acting is [I wasn't gonna say perfect but] if not we are almost there. I was there with them, near them. For real. I lost count of how many times I cried in front of the screen.
- nice production
UWMA brings along considerable emotional baggage, it's a cross of destinies. There's poetry in it. It is both soft, like clouds or cotton candy, and rough as the impetuosity of life.
P.S. I don't consider the rewatch value in my final rating.
thank you for reading :)
