If you loved Hidden Love, you absolutely must watch A Little Thing Called First Love because they are both the gold standard for "secret crush" stories. Both dramas are incredibly sweet and focus on a young girl’s patient, innocent love for an older boy she admires from afar. While Sang Zhi falls for her brother’s best friend, Miaomiao works hard to "glow up" and improve herself to get the attention of her perfect school senior. You will find yourself smiling constantly because both male leads are "green flags" who are always protective, gentle, and supportive. These shows avoid toxic drama and instead offer a "healing" experience that captures the heart-fluttering excitement of first love. Watching them is the perfect way to feel warm and happy, proving that even the smallest moments with a crush can become life-changing memories.
Both a school dramas and the story follows them through college. It's about growing up and first loves. Both the main girls are dorky and are not the prettiest people. Also their crush/first love are like good at everything. Both try to pursue their love and the main lead falls for them. Good light hearted dramas! All can be found on youtube with English subs!
About high schooler to university to work. Sweet and entertaining. I binge watched this while waiting for update of a little thing called love
Similar soft yet cute Chinese short drama with indifferent male lead that has a long time crush on the leading girl from the beginning.
Coming of age, school-drama, finding love, transitioning into adulthood and friendship.
Slow-paced, no extremely vicious people, although there are elements bringing dynamics to the story.

Both are coming of age-dramas, quite easy on the mind (comfort-dramas), following a group of friends, and with a somewhat awkward female protagonist.
I think they have a similar vibe. DISCLAIMER I am only up to ep 31 on First love.
PYHOMS is more focused on the romance of the main couple than in First love and has lots more Awww moments. The romance in First love is slower moving and a little more "innocent".
Both have;
Long distant relationship/breakup (SPOILER;which I did not like in First love)
No real bad guy characters.
Characters stay true to eachother.
Smart ML willing to do almost anything for their girl.
More time spent on the main leads relationships with friends and family in First love.
PYHOMS starts at university and continues on to worklife for some characters while First love starts in high school and continues into university life.
I like the stories of the secondary characters in first love better than in PYHOMS.

Both A Little Thing Called First Love and Always Home are similar because they’re coming-of-age stories that focus on friendship, self-growth, and the emotional journey of first love. Both follow characters from their school years into adulthood, showing how friendships shape them, how quiet crushes slowly develop, and how personal challenges help them discover who they really are. While First Love centers more on one girl’s transformation because of her crush, and Always Home uses a larger friend group with deeper family themes, both dramas share the same warm, realistic, nostalgic vibe about growing up, changing, and finding love along the way.
