XiaoChenYu becomes the student representative in SuoDing academy, and begins to openly target XiaoWu and TangSan which keeps them from attending classes. XiaoChenYu gets his first (white) spirit ring from a captured Ghost Wolf spirit beast. TangSan and Grandmaster go to the Beast Hunting Forest to get TangSan his first spirit ring. Grandmaster shows TangSan his spirit, a dog mutation spirit named LuoSanPao. XiaoWu sneaks into the forest to join them, and she has a lot of knowledge about the forest and spirit beasts. They come across a Rainbow Cat that is badly injured with it's child. While looking for herbs to try to save the cat, they get targeted by XiaoChenYu in the forest, and then the episode ends.
This is the first episode where the Supreme Leader of spirit hall (BiBiDong) is mentioned. She is the most powerful spirit master on Duoluo Continent.

Okay #1 I honestly hate the bully - like how dare he kill that innocent spirit beast in the cage. Like come on man! I really liked this episode because we got to see more of the world building & I really liked the Master's spirit beast - LUO SAN PAO. Just for that little cute creature this episode gets a 10/10. He is so smart & so useful. I liked the way they explained things in such a clear way - I was able to understand the ring concept & how spirit beasts work as well. I think it is very friendly to people who haven't watched/read the original workThe CGI is really good - you can definitely notice it with how great the spirit beasts look.

It's really good how the story is pacing up. Tang San is on the way to finding a Soul Spirit for him. Love the dog+pig. It is so cute. Waiting for more!
