A Millionaire's First Love

So similar when it comes to the health conditions of the leads. But in Millionaire's, the female lead is the one who's sick and they both hid it from their lovers at first eventually leading to the sad part .

They have a similar story line (will not get into details to avoid spoilers ). They both are sad (extremely sad I'm telling you) but weirdly manage to have a slightly optimistic ending . P.S. I personally prefer the movie "...ing" Hope you agree (>??)?

Beautiful scenery with a small town, slice-of-life feeling provide the background for a melancholy love story in both of these movies.

Both have the same male main lead and both were love story.

The romance in both the movies is innocent and sweet. If one of the two movies made you cry, the other one will too.

The roles are reversed but in both stories you have a romance blooming in adversity. Both stories ave a quirky fl and a bit closed off ml as well as the theme of terminal illness. In both you will cry your eyes out.

There is the overall theme of love and death between the 2 movies. The partner that survives has a reminder of the partner that died

The story-lines are different but both deal with love that slips away. Also both are tear-jerkers. I personally liked Millionaire's First Love better but I still enjoyed both.

They both have a similar storyline where the leads fall in love while the girl is ill. Both movies are amazing with a plot twist

Kyoko, a young woman with an unhindered spirit despite being physically bound to a wheelchair due to illness, and Shuji, a stylish and popular fashion magazine hairstylist, are brought together in a fateful traffic incident. Despite their confrontational meeting, they soon find themselves falling in love, with Shuji drawn to her courage and enthusiasm and Kyoko attracted to his ability to look beyond her physical limitations and into her heart. Chizuru, a typical Japanese young female office worker, is socially clumsy, poor at romance and unhappy with her job. Being weary from a busy and stressful city life, she seriously desires to end her life somewhere faraway from the city and leaves for deep in the mountains, where she finds one lonely house. Then she attempts to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills in the guest house but she fails... This is the beginning of her new life.

Adiantum Blue is about a pianist with a terminal illness, who wishes to spend her last happy days with her lover in Nice

Satsuki's lover Hitoshi dies suddenly. She is unable to get over his death and is mired in deep sadness. Satsuki keeps thinking about the moon shadow phenomenon, which she heard about in the past. The moon shadow phenomenon is a mysterious event that allows a person to meet the dead at the end of a full moon

This was the first korean movie I ever watched. Amazingly emotional, delicate and beautiful. Must watch movie.

They are both amazing stories about the lead not giving in to their illness.
1 Litre is a true story while A Millionaire's First love is not.
They are both uplifting, tear jerking and great movies to watch.
The only difference is that A Millionaire's first love has romance, while 1 Litre only hints at romance (but not the main theme).
