Refreshing and Funnier!
Simply prefer season 2 for the alternate universe plot at the start where it is different from season 1. Instead of having the leukemia disease at the start, the female lead met male lead in a different kind of settings such as the masquerade ball. It makes it more natural than the first season plot!Despite the different plot, they still included elements from the first season which gives me a bit of nostalgic and the female lead is able to remember bits and pieces of season 1 flashbacks which makes it pretty interesting!
Love the chemistry between the casts, it's even way better than season 1! Male lead is more funnier and flirtier in this season than the first while female lead feels more calm and collected in this season. I like the fact that the male lead is the one pursuing the female lead this time!
I love the supporting couples as well, Wen Li and Jia Fei which had their own side story and it is simply amazing! While Chu Yan and Xiao You were pretty cute together and sweet as well!
Now comes the villains which I think are the most dumbest addition to this story? Unlike the first season villains which had more suspense and makes it more nerve-wrecking, these 2 villains weren't even half as good as the first one. Felt as though they were freaking childish and just casually pinning blame on the main leads. The male lead could simply settle them easily lol.
Production doesn't seem low cost and the outfits were great because there's more variations for the female lead now. And I love her hairstyle too! The male lead however, his hairstylist doesn't seem to put in much effort for his hair, not sure is it just me? Soundtrack has the same selection from first season and have 1 or 2 new songs for this season, not so picky about it in general!
Overall, I felt like the beginning started off well but the ending was quite boring for me as it felt as though scriptwriter ran out of plot and decided to add draggy scenes to end it off lol. I might watch again, but only if I'm feeling it 'cos the ending is just meh for me.

I adore Xu Kai Cheng in the first Well Intended and believe he is a very good actor and did well but not as well as in the First Season. The same goes for Simona Wang. The storyline was different than the first season. Ian Yi did well as all the other actors did. The comedy in this drama I feel wasn't there. I just wasn't moved like I was in the first one. My focus only stayed on the main leads. The visuals and the romantic chemistry between the two main were definitely there. I don't understand why the director wanted to make a Season 2. Everyone tried their best. I guess I was just stuck on the First Season. There was a word in the last episode used by the young boy who was the son of the two main lead characters. that I almost threw a shoe at my TV. That word is very discriminative and is considered a racial epithet in the United States and other countries. So I looked up the word to see how South Koreans define this word. What got to me, is that back in the '60s that word was defined the same way in our dictionary. As the years moved forward Racism started and now the word has been updated in our dictionary with laws passing to mean it is derogatory and discriminative toward Melanin people. Even though I don't live in South Korea, I'm not going to lie but it hurt. I almost was going to rate it a low number but it wouldn't be fair to the actors and actresses who did their part in this drama.

They also had way better designer wardrobe line up to the point it was so showy, and obviously they had a lot of location and apartments and more resources available,.
The chemistry between the leads was much better and they kissed a whole lot and definitely not pecks, however their acting was sometimes over the top to the point that I felt they were all excited, could be they got a lot of endorsements with this drama because the product placement was just ridiculously too much that I was almost gonna quit just because of the excessive product placement in the first 10 episodes. The female lead didn’t act well in a lot of scenes especially after she learned she got amnesia and didn’t have two year memory, her acting there on was really bad and just ridiculously unbelievable for someone who lost her memory, which is why I said why I said they probably got too much endorsements money from this drama that they didn’t feel the need to put in their very best towards the end.

What a Bore
OMG I don't even know where to begin with this review. It doesn't get better from the first season. I put in very little concentration while watching this drama. I'm not one who drop dramas when I start and Netflix has this as one continuous part, so I just kept watching this in the background. Some people however may enjoy watching this and if you are only looking for a drama where you don't have to put much effort and just watch casually looking for the romance part, you might enjoy this drama. Or if you are really a big fan or one or more of the casts. Other than that, I would not recommend this drama. Was this review helpful to you?

✒ ⭐ Making Moolah For MuMu °6.5° °fun f/u to S1°
In S2, Mumu is already a famous actress when she meets Ling. The drama she and friend Chu Yan star in mirrors reality. His lines are what Ling’s already living and thinking. What's especially fun about S2 is that it's the same couple, but a parallel universe. Under different circumstances they get to fall in love all over again. I adore this idea. They also reverse their error from S1. He does pull a stunt, but it's anodyne and she has the power to back out at any time. The staff is clearly having a fabulous time. It comes through. While S2 does have a plot - a unique one - it's really just after-glow fluff. The last 3 eps were difficult to watch as they struggled to wrap up their pretense of a plot. S2 wouldn't be worth watching without having seen S1 first as it merely plays off of S1.In S2, FeiFei explains, from a writer's perspective, how MuMu and Ling have the “same problem”. You've been single for so many years. That's why you're used to dealing with everything yourself. That's why you never tell him anything. As for him, he's used to being in charge. He's also a male chauvinist. That's why he always deals with problems without you knowing. He wants you to live your life happily without having to worry…” Each of them had troubles in their lives and neither had opted to share with the other. The result was that each of them felt shut out by the other. We can't hear this advice enough because many of us fail to heed it. Maybe if I had heard it a few more times, it would have sunk in, and I would have done better. The flip side of the pancake is that we must be calm and patient listeners when our mates open up. Otherwise they will shut down even more.

Why?
It’s very simple to retell the exact same story and only change the setting. That is what they did. What a waste. What happened to the male lead? I can’t be the only one that has noticed a significant change in his appearance. Back off the teeth whitening before they disintegrate.
The story was unredeemable. The acting was done like they were in their first year of acting school. The whole thing seemed to have been made just to bank off the first drama and the actors names.
In my opinion , it’s a complete fail.

Female in dramas
The weakest, most infuriating part thing about this drama are the two main female characters. The ladies in this “season” are the typical “shy”, “playing hard to get” females as in most foreign dramas. That is so over done. 🙄 (500 letters is a lot for this review as I’ve yet to finish this season). I’m just so pissed off at this women I had to put it in writing. For crying out loud! A word counter would help! Oh, I do like the idea if their love in the alternate universe. The second male lead is adorable. Was this review helpful to you?
Odd
Let's be honest here. Who makes season 2 with a completely different storyline? Isn't season twos are supposed to be continuation of Season 1? The story restarts all over again. When Mumu and Ling are Celebrity's, And the story begins from E1 S1! ALL OVER AGAIN, I do not recommend watching this as it will waste your time, sure the Episodes are sometimes different but the story is just REPEATING ALL OVER AGAIN. But at the last part it actually shows mumu and ling got a baby, What I dont understand is WHY NOT CONTINUE THE EP20 S1? the story just got more confusing, I was insanely confused WHY they didn't know eachother and i realized the story was starting all over again but they are CELEBRITY'S AND HERES MORE, Chu Yan and Ling were in love with mumu but Chu yan let go of Mumu because he wanted Ling and mumu to be happy together, Whats weird is that Chu yan liked mumu? And suddenly Xiao you disappeared and another Criminal walks in, like nan jin tian, honestly, I wouldn't re-watch or recommend this. Was this review helpful to you?
