Surprisingly Amazing
WOW - a surprisingly amazing drama that anyone can easily love! I was very sceptical at trying this drama just due to the sheer hype - the synopsis I read felt like a cringefest but I am so glad it wasn't the case, this romance was anything BUT a cringefest.Although unfamiliar with nearly the entire cast, after watching this series, I am wanting to watch all of the cast in other respective dramas they are involved in. The chemistry between each and every character truly felt remarkably amazing. The OST to this drama is also very addictive! A must watch drama!

Why I deliberately watch the series after the rave died down
The drama was highly raved by netizens; as an avid k drama fan, I’ve never written reviews for Korean dramas (usually Chinese dramas) because I know that there are more people out there who watches Korean drama than mainland Chinese ones (not saying it’s bad)So to give my 2 cents, I must say I bawled my eyes out for more than 5 episodes (for sure) while watching this series; a happy ending for sure, like how “The King” ended. Initially I thought I would have dropped the series halfway like how I did for DOTS and Goblin ( because they are so highly raved) but I can’t stop due to the plot. chemistry between Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. Not to mention the supporting casts as well!
I laughed and cried well for this drama ~.~ it’s truly an amazing series to give up!

Interesting and very well done love story.
I loved the leading characters in this romance. The female was funny and sassy, while the male lead was sweet and manly. The setting of the story was unique and the story line was fun. There were many parts that made me laugh out loud and cry. You get invested in the characters and that is so important in a series. I enjoyed every episode and it kept me hooked from the beginning. I think it has every element that a romance should have.The setting was refreshing and made me think about the differences between North and South Korea. After watching the series, I actually went on a spree search for stories and videos about North Korea as I was quite curious. Although, I do take this media consumption with a grain of salt since I know how the media, especially the Western media, like their propaganda. I feel you never truly know until you've travelled to a place and experienced it for yourself.
If you are into romance with the feels and some humour, then definitely give this a try.
I like rating series based on how much I enjoyed it, how unique the story is and where I think it should be in the top rated list compared to other series.

interesting and engaging show
this is the first kdrama i’ve watched and i have to say it’s really really good.pros: 1. the whole story was really engaging and somewhat unique as they showed how a north korean fell in love with a south korean.
2. the drama was really funny and sweet
3. the acting was good, they portrayed the characters well
4. the ost is amazing
cons: 1. the parts where they talk about some military things are a little boring
2. it may be a little unrealistic how a north korean and south korean can fall for each other
overall, this was an enjoyable drama and definitely an unforgettable one

Absolutely Amazing!!!!!!!!!
This is an amazing drama about a South Korean businesswoman who falls in love with the captain of a North Korean army unit. It is a love story with lots of drama and heartfelt moments which takes place primarily in North & South Korea. There are also some wonderful scenes in Switzerland. Lots of cute moments, sweet moments, and tissie moments can be found in this drama. There's plenty of humor as well! The North Korean soldiers are simply too funny. Watching them learn about and explore the wonders of the outside world was great. There's some added drama with the main actor's and actress's families that, while unnecessary, adds depth to the characters. It was truly an amazing drama with a happy ending that I will be recommending to everyone! A new favorite!!!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Do I need to say anything at all !! 100/10
What’s not to like about this show! Everything including the story, the characters, the dialogues is 10/10 .I like to see characters having deep meaningful conversations, it’s important to understand what made them connect with each other (atleast for me) and the story unfolds every detail. Nothing was left unaddressed or incomplete. My heart was full at the end of the show.
Captain Ri and Yoon seri set such a high bar with their chemistry. I was rooting for them from the start. The 2nd lead couple had good chemistry too and their story was adorable even thou they couldn’t end up together.
It’s one of those rare shows where the story, the cast and the execution was all in right place. It had the right balance of comedy,drama, suspense and romance. I have already rewatched it 3 times and can’t seem to get bored if it.

TOTALLY WORTH WATCHING!!!
I highly recommend watching it!! It is that type of drama that you don't forget easily.Amazing soundtrack, beautiful cast and chemistry really put it together.
I cried, laughed and felt what characters experienced.
It is a great story, not only about love but about finding yourself and accepting our vulnerability.
Also i loved to see friendship beteween Yoon Se Ri and 5th Company. They had amazing chemistry, a true friendship.
Memorable quote which changed my perspective on life.
"Sometimes the wrong train takes you to the right station. It was like that for me, too. Throughout my life, I always felt like I was on the wrong train. One time, I wanted to give up. I didn't want to go anywhere. So I thought of jumping off the train. Look where I am now. I took the wrong train again, and a very wrong one at that. Still, you should think about the future, even if things don't go as you wish. I hope you arrive at the right station, no matter which train you take."

My absolute favorite series ❤️
This series is the reason why I completely fell in love with Korean series and culture. I loved the story! I cried so much and, above all, laughed! This series is a touching and at the same time humorous story that makes your ❤️ flutter every time you look at Hyuan Bin and on the other hand makes you think a lot about the history of Korea. I'm happy to give this a 10/10 because I think everything is spot on. I'm sure this isn't the last time I've watched this series.I read that there is a musical for the series and would be overjoyed if I could find a CD or DVD for it. What is love?
Is love the need to be close to each other and see each other all the time, or is it simply the feeling you have when you think of the other person?These questions crossed my mind as I was watching Crash Landing on You. This series is the perfect example of how people can go from being enemies to friends, or in this case, to partners. It’s a beautiful story of a love that blossoms amidst the tensions of a “paused war.”
Is it the lead and supporting actors who make this drama so great, or is it the storyline? I believe this question can be answered with one simple word: “Both.” The actors, whether they’re in supporting roles or leading roles, play their parts so convincingly that you feel the entire story could be their own. This is especially true when you consider that the two lead actors are now married and have a child together.
The conflict between North and South Korea is portrayed exceptionally well. It’s neither exaggerated nor over-dramatised, but it is ever-present and addressed clearly in several scenes. The prejudices both sides hold against each other are also seamlessly woven into the narrative. My issue with most series set in a similar context is that they tend to portray one side as the villains and the other as the heroes. These series focus solely on the positives of the “good” side against the “bad” side, without acknowledging that the reverse can also be true, and that the stark distinction between good and evil doesn’t really exist. These nuances are so well handled and executed in Crash Landing on You that I believe this should be the standard for all series.
Even though some viewers were not entirely satisfied with the ending, I personally think it was a well-chosen conclusion, because reality rarely allows for a truly happy ending. The fact that they can see each other at least once a year doesn’t erase the pain of their separation, but it does make it slightly easier to bear.
In conclusion, I would count this series among the top K-dramas. I would give anything to be able to watch this series for the first time again.

The best chemistry between leads!
The two leads had amazing chemistry, and I found out later that they got married in real life!! I loved all of the main and side characters. And the plot was very engaging and interesting. Such a good show, I would recommend! It was one of my first k-dramas I watched and after watching over 60 now, I still have it ranked very highly and recommend it.Was this review helpful to you?

Try not to have a crush on Hyun Bin!
Well how do i even start: me and my friends had a bet to start watching this drama together as its rating was too high, and we def did not regret it!!!First thing it brought was the fresh plot and dialogue then came the sizzling chemistry between the leads. I also want to add that this drama made me laugh so much as well as be emotional for the most part of it.
It portrays reality in a very reasonable way, and thank you to the director for giving us a realistic ending even though i felt so bad for the second couple. It had been a while since I last enjoyed a romance drama but this just made me enjoy it so much!

Recently, I've felt myself going through the motions. Watching a title, checking it off my list and moving on. Dramas that used to take Hours to finish ended up taking me days. I had even started rewatching some old stuff just to fall in love with K-Dramas again.I decided to watch this after hearing so much about it and let me tell you I was not disappointed. I laughed, I cried and I stayed up till 5am hoping to get to an episode that I feel can finally let me close my eyes. It explores the culture of North Korean which gave me a bit of Nostalgia from years ago when I started discovering Korean culture. Learning new things about Koreans, the way the speak and the way of life was always something I appreciated in Dramas.
This K-Drama Reminded me of why I started falling on love with them in the first place. They left no stone unturned and no unstaisfactory revenge arcs. It's Cliché but not so much that you know how it will end. Just enough for you to anitcipate it and get glued to your screen.
I can't say it's completely light-hearted but it sure did make me laugh. The comedic relief was added in just the right moment in just the right doses. I've given this a 9 because despite starting strong and staying interesting, it failed to completely entrhrall me till the very last second, it faltered just a bit when it came to closing out. That and I think So Dan and her lover deserved a better ending. Everyone survives the gunshot wound but HIM!!???
Either way I totally recommend this drama for beginners who want to fall in love and for Veterans who want to fall in love again.
