To save a kidnapped Chen Lin, Xiao Ma gets shot and then tells Chen Lin that he has escaped from Sarkozy because he has fallen in love with her during an operation. Chen Lin refuses to leave Xiao Ma, and they manage to kill their attackers and escape. Ying Xiong works with Lei Mousa to investigate Jin's murder. Ying Xiong trusts her fully because of her professionalism, calmness, and also the close relationship they shared back in New York, but Shrek is suspicious of Lei Mousa's background.
