Ying Xiong and Chen Lin rush to Sanlian Tower to save Shrek, who gets caught by Da Yan. The three of them have a face-to-face talk, causing an angry Chen Lin to stomp off and the tension between Ying Xiong and Da Yan to escalate. As a gunfight is about to break out, the Sanlian Group's chairman calls Da Yan and requests a meeting with Shrek and Ying Xiong. Unexpectedly, the chairman agrees to help the duo, and Da Yan comes to the station to provide a statement.
