A missing police pistol ties into a series of heists and murders. Its owner, Wong, disappeared while chasing a suspect in the mountains. His partner, Chi Wai, returned unharmed. Inspector Ho, heading the serial murder investigation, seeks help from his mentor, the gifted but unstable profiler Bun. Bun can peer into a person's inner psyche, unveiling their subconscious desires and emotions.
