The small alleyways with flickering lights, the lone chair under the streetlight, the sloping hill overlooking the sunset, the quiet overpass atop the busy traffic, the studio filled with music, the plants on the window sill, the reflection of the leaves on the ceiling, all the way to the steps to Hawon's home; all of these instances feel so real, feel so embedded in my mind as if I have walked them myself. It feels like I have healed during the walks between these places and the time spent with these characters and that's what this drama was about: healing. Although there were elements of romance and angst, to me, the main point of this drama was the healing and growth of these characters. Too often, I see dramas with insane or "interesting" plotlines that leave little time towards the actual characterization and development of the characters and I am so glad I got to experience this drama as a breath of fresh air. The story was slow at times, yes, but that is the point, growth for people doesn't happen overnight so why must we act like it does? Why must our stories be fast paced and unauthentic? Admitting grief and facing it takes time and acceptance and this drama helped portray that beautifully. The acting was great, the scene when Jung Haein showed Hawon crying in the cafe broke me because it was such a simple situation but it felt so real because I can honestly say I have times like that, when the small things not the big just set you off in explainable ways. The characters were mostly all mature, most faced situations in an adult like, reasonable manner which just made me like them all that much. I'm glad there was no unexplained animosity, and I was glad the characters were in touch with their feelings. I am glad Seowoo quickly realized she liked Hawon and I liked that Hawon's character realistically showed that feelings are ambiguous: they don't just exist in black and white. There are times you know you're not in love yet, you have a lot to overcome personally, but another person is still important to you and I am so glad he communicated that directly to Seowoo. People like the homestay family also grew on me, and their stories also touched me deeply. The feelings of these characters were handled so sensitively, I am truly grateful to have seen them all grow.
Obviously there were some aspects that felt rushed, but that's not the blame of anyone in the cast, the director, or the writers because that's just the way it turned out. I wish they had focused a bit more on Seowoo and Jisoo's mental health, because those aspects were touched upon but never fully built upon. But, in a way I also appreciate that because in a way, they normalized having mental health problems such as depression, as well as its treatment such as medication, without making it into a big thing which sometimes portrays it in an even worse manner. The only aspect that didn't fully sell me was Soonho's part, but to others her part might have felt more meaningful. But, once again, I am so glad to have watched this, and definitely the tears were all worth it. So far, my fav drama of 2020 and one of my favs of all time.

Simply beautiful story
Such a believable story, understated acting, superb characters. Moving, emotional and funny at times. All aspects of relationships and human frailties and strengths are explored. Just perfect.Jung Hae-in is a wonderful, natural actor.
The entire cast were perfect and give the viewer wonderfully varied, 'real' characters. A joy.
With 12 episodes, this is shorter than most dramas, but the story never felt rushed or packed in and neither was it dragged out. I felt the pace was perfect.
The locations were unusual too and it made me want to visit the coffee shop, buy a eucalyptus plant and a ticket to Oslo!

But let me tell you, despite all the low rating and bashing about how boring this drama could be, I found this story is very heartwarming. Yes it is slow but i love it the way it is because it describes all the emotions so well, slow but steady.
Both the main leads have a good chemistry and convey their emotions very well, and all the supporting characters adding this story a beautiful garnish.
The OST is really compatible with each scene and makes us drawn into it more.
Fall in love with Jung Hae In all over again with his presence :) I just love him they way he is, calm and quiet. This role really suits his personality too.
If you are looking for a drama to make your heart warms, and or take a break from all the serious and fast-paced drama, then this is the one for you.

I'm not sure why this has lower view rating but if you are not fond of HEART WARMING, SLICE OF LIFE, SLOW-PACE ROMANCE, I SUGGEST DO NOT EXPECT MUCH AND DO NOT WHINE ABOUT HOW IT DOES NOT MEET YOUR USUAL ROMCOM EXPECTATIONS.
(This is not a comedy after all)
As for me, I liked it through and through. It is an unexpected gem.

Excessively sentimental & strongly emotional ❤️
If anyone ever mentions of melodrama, A Piece of Mind is it.I was in dire need of something that is excessively sentimental and strongly emotional and A Piece of Mind gave what I needed. It is beautifully written and executed. It is perfectly narrated and conveyed. The pace of the drama is enjoyable, it makes you stop and think, it does not aggravate, it just delivers the storyline, in a way that you would definitely fall in love with. At the beginning of the drama, you might feel that there is certain loopholes, but as the story unfolds, it will lure you to a dreamland. And you will feel something like ‘oouhh no wonder he said that. And no wonder she did that’
At first, I was sceptical with the plot that involves and AI tech, but this drama naturally meddle that to everyday life. It blends so well with the characters and nothing seems forced or illogical by sense.
It is sweet, slow, it takes its time and it is delicate. It serves my hopeless romantic ass real good ❤️
This has to be one of the most notable screenplay of Jung Hae In (who plays Moon Ha Won, the main role in this drama) the more I think about it, the more it appears to me that he really does a great job with his role. He makes you ponder and at the end of the drama, he makes you feel liberated, but peacefully.
If you are looking for a drama that would make you smile, cry and at some point, burst out of your happiness (cringiness hehe) then please watch this.
Melodramatic. Yeap it is :)

A Piece of Your Mind: A Gentle Symphony of Love, Loss, and AI
First things first, can we take a moment to appreciate Jung Hae-in? This guy is seriously becoming the king of soft, thoughtful male leads, and I am here for it! In this drama, he plays Moon Ha-won, a brilliant AI programmer with a heart of gold and a past full of unrequited love. Watching him navigate his emotions while trying to create an AI that understands human feelings? Pure poetry, I tell you!And then we have Chae Soo-bin as Han Seo-woo, a classical music recording engineer with her own share of emotional baggage. Her character is like a breath of fresh air – quirky, resilient, and so relatable. The way she slowly brings Ha-won out of his shell had me cheering from my couch!
Now, let's talk about the pace. If you're looking for high-octane drama and plot twists every five minutes, this might not be your cup of tea. But if you're in the mood for a slow-burn romance that feels like a warm hug on a cold day, buckle up! The show takes its time to develop the characters and their relationships, and trust me, it's worth every minute.
One thing that really stood out to me was how the drama weaves together themes of artificial intelligence, music, and human emotions. It's like a beautiful symphony where each element plays its part to create something truly magical. The way they use classical music to underscore emotional moments? Chef's kiss
But what really got me was the exploration of grief, healing, and the power of human connection. Without giving too much away, there's a storyline involving a character's lost love that had me reaching for the tissues. It's handled with such care and sensitivity that you can't help but be moved. And let me tell you, even if I watch it for the nth time, I'm gonna cry. Every. Single. Time. It's that powerful and touching!
The cinematography deserves a special shout-out too. Every frame looks like a piece of art, from the cozy interiors to the stunning Norwegian landscapes. I swear, I spent half the show googling flights to Norway!
Is it perfect? Well, no drama is. Sometimes the AI concepts can get a bit confusing, and if you're not into slow-paced, introspective shows, you might find yourself checking your watch. But for me, these are tiny blips in what is otherwise a beautiful, thoughtful exploration of love and healing.
So, if you're in the mood for a drama that'll make you think, feel, and maybe look at the world a little differently, give "A Piece of Your Mind" a shot. It's like a warm cup of tea for your soul – comforting, soothing, and leaves you feeling just a little bit better about the world.

A Piece of Your Mind has A Piece of My Heart
I just finished another rewatch and thought to leave a very short review for this gem.I love this drama so much.
While watching it gives me a very warm feeling. The relationship of Ha Won and Seo Woo is what I imagine an ideal relationship is like. A relationship of mutual longing, respect and reciprocation.
Some might call it slow, but for me that is how it's meant to be, a story driven by characters rather than plot. The atmospheric directing and very good music alongside that help to elevate my watching experience.
Too bad the 4 episodes were cut and always left us wondering of what could have been. But that was what it was, and as it is, the drama is perfect for me.

The best K-Drama I have ever seen.
This story healing me. "A piece of your mind" is a very slow-paced drama - with slow plot, slow visuals and slow background music. It's perfect for watching quietly at a table after a busy day, enjoying peace of mind and fully immersing yourself in the drama and experiencing the characters' emotions.I appreciate that Spotify recommended OST to me, which let me to know about this underrated masterpiece. This is the best K-Drama I have ever seen, hope everyone can enjoy in it!!

A comforting tale that wraps you in warmth during the cold season.
This review is long overdue. I watched this drama during the pandemic out of pure boredom, not expecting much—but wow, it ended up becoming one of my comfort dramas. I don’t usually go for slow-burn romance, but for some reason, this one kept me hooked the entire time. The subtle hugs and small moments of affection gave me that fluttery feeling I didn’t expect. I just wish they kept it at 16 episodes—I was honestly craving for more. 😭Was this review helpful to you?
My favourite drama
A piece of your mind ist my all time favorite drama. In one word i would describe it as calm. When wathing it really helps me to feel comfortable and relaxed. The one hour episodes do really feel like they're one hour long but thats probably the reason i feel this way. Both of the actors are perfect for this role and it all just feels natural. The soundtrackis also beautiful. I'veactuallyhave one song in my playlist and i also learnedit on the piano.I'm usually a person that rewatches dramas too many times but with this one i don't want to rewatch it because it just really is so special.
