Di Huai Yi, a divine detective from Da Liang, falls into a lake with a powerful map and wakes up in the Republican era. There, he crosses paths with female cop Ming Tian while she’s hunting the outlaw Hei Yu. Mistaken for an intruder, Di Huai Yi is arrested but escapes, determined to catch the bandit and clear his name.
