Feng Xi tells Lu Yuan Tong that the capitulation letter is missing and pits his enemies against each other. Dong Yue stays with Pang Yu to investigate. Feng Xi reads the little book and remembers Dong Yue again. Pang Yu confronts Fang Yuan. Pang Yu wants to use Dong Yue as bait again. Dong Yue helps Feng Xi find the entrance to the jail and invites Pang Yu to a play to keep him occupied. Feng Xi walks into a trap at the jail. Feng Xi tells Pang Yu about the capitulation letter that can prove the innocence of the Ming family. Feng Xi turns over the letter if they let Dao Le go. Feng Xi kills the prisoner under Pang Yu's nose.
