After a sudden influx of humans developing a series of symptoms, one-by-one they rapidly turn into creatures that feast on humans. Both Sweet Home and #Alive are set in an apartment building whereby their residents try to survive against the apocalypse. In addition, both male main characters find out about the details of the world's situation through the internet and seeing the carnage with their own eyes. Both try to survive on their own inside their apartments at first but find themselves going outside their doors eventually to face the situation.

Similarity isolation and survival in a confined Space. The protagonist is isolated in his apartment during a zombie apocalypse, facing limited resources and threats. The isolation and survival struggle in a restricted environment parallel the scenario on the airport bridge.

While different in tone (one is more comedic, the other serious), both are about a group of people dealing with a zombie apocalypse.

They both take place in a very tall building during a zombie outbreak in Seoul. In this one the male leaded named Joon-woo wakes up to find out that a zombie outbreak happened after a late night of video gaming. He struggles to survive and is worried about his parents who left him home alone before all this chaos plays out.

If Alive left you haunted by the loneliness of survival, Forgotten carries you one step further:
What if the people you survive for aren't who you thought they were?

Both explore isolation — but Forgotten twists it into something colder, stranger, and far harder to escape.
