While traveling with Ryuga toward Claire City, Rian had been summoned by Ryume and was carrying out a different mission. On top of that, the mysterious Makai Priest Rector draws ever closer to Ryuga.

Amid the increasingly chaotic battles, Ryuga and Rian are guided back into a fated reunion. After the fighting ends, Ryuga witnesses the drastically changed state of his old ally, Ryume. And as Ryume’s life comes to an end, he foretells that a great calamity will soon be unleashed upon the world. Determined to stop it, Ryuga and Rian rise to take action, but what awaits them is a cruel destiny they must bear as protectors.
