Most heartwarming thing I have ever seen.

I started this Series before it was finished, because people were saying it was as good as if not better than Tharntype. So I started it with extremely high expectations. And while a lot of people were disappointed by the end I will say I disagree. Yes I was disappointed by the fact that there was too little action, or non at all, however, the overall story was just so cute and heart warming that it honestly didn’t ruin my feel for the series at all.

The actors both did a great job in conveying their characters, especially Bright (Sarawat) I just felt his every expression, every action and absolutely bought his character. For Win (Tine) it took me some time to warm up, but that’s most likely due to the fact that he plays quite the passive character, so it needed like a turn point where he was really able to show his acting skills in terms of conveying feelings to the audience. Once this was given I was absolutely convinced by him as well.

Now to the story line: like I said above, this one had one of the cutest most heartwarming stories I have ever seen. My heart literally burst with love and warmth in so many scenes... this for me made up for any missing action. Especially since we now know there will be a second season were we may hope for the making up of all the missing action in the first season.

However, I will say that this too is a series where one person is more of the “giver” and the other one the “taker” which usually kind of bothers me, but with this one it didn’t bother me as much because the “giver” was so extremely lovable that it made up for the frustration sometimes caused by the “taker”. This is probably the only part that bothers me though: the one lead obviously loves the other and has never done anything to hurt or betray the other, and still somehow he seems to be the only one who has to apologise and put effort into the relationship.. this makes the relationship dynamic quite unequal.

Lastly I want to mention the soundtrack: I usually give an average rating for music or rate it according to how much I remember it, since music was a big part of this series I obviously remember it quite well, and I have to say it played nicely into the Series and it’s overall feel. I saved most of the Songs into my playlist!

So this is definitely a Drama I advice to have seen. You may like it or you may not, For me it was absolutely heart warming. I am excited for the second season (I usually am not a big fan of second seasons, however because of the lack of action in the first season, I am really excited to see what they come up with for the second). I would not at all compare it to Tharntype though, because the two are just completely different things. Both good in their own way.

OVERRATED

I was so excited for this to come out when they announced that there’s going to be a series. For someone who loves Jittirain and most especially Theory of Love. I can’t even contain my disappointment for how this turned out.

The review that I’ll be giving is for the series itself and not the novel.

STORY - The story was... inconsistent. Okay, yes it was light and there’s only butterflies in your stomach when you watch the first few episodes but there are a few double standards for this one.

First of all, i don’t like how Green is pushing himself to Tine when Tine clearly said no already. On top of that, it’s bizarre to even think about that Tine’s initial response to that situation is “get a fake boyfriend” like— what even is that? Also, what Green did to Tine is basically the same thing Tine did to Wat, not to mention the stalking, harrasing in bathrooms and even going as far as joining the music club just to make Wat agree to be his fake boyfriend. IT WAS A MESS. Tine and Sarawat’s relationship? A MESS. There was no substance or anything. It was a bromance, not romance.

I’m not gonna go into details about Man’s catfishing incident because that’s pretty much self explanatory. PhukongMil deserves so much better. Unlike other bl series that pays attention to side pairings/couples, this is the only series that confused me the most with regards to this. The series literally paid PhukongMil dust.

ACTING/CAST — I’ll be reviewing Win and Bright only. As a rookie actor, Win Metawin definitely didn’t disappoint. Given that there could be so much improvement, considering this is his first series or acting role, it was pretty much okay to me. He can definitely portray the bubbly and outgoing personality of Tine, I think he would be a promisinga actor in the future.

As for Bright, man I don’t know what happened with this one. This is not his first series, i’m not sure if he’s uncomfortable with the idea that it’s bl or if he just didn’t get enough workshop. I mean, sure he can portray that kinda snob popular guy but other than that, he’s so... lifeless. His facial expressions are always awkward and he really really looks uncomfortable acting in love with a man.

This is why the industry really needs to hire ACTUAL LGBT+ people and not straight men, but oh well.

MUSIC — as someone who doesn’t understand Thai, Scrubb’s songs are definitely AWESOME. I have no words for the OST by Max Jenmana, it was catchy. The story itself is somehow based upon scubb songs so all in all, SCRUBB superior. Kinda like Eraserheads of the Philippines.

REWATCH VALUE - If you asked me if this one on the first few episodes then my answer would be yes, i would love to rewatch it. But like i said, the series lost its spark halfway through the series and it’s a very bad adaptation of the novel. If there’s some clips on twitter or youtube then yes, I would watch bits of it but if it’s the entire series, I don’t think I want to go through all of that awkward acting of Bright and getting confused with the inconsistent story line.

It was decent.. The first half of this series held promise but once the main couple got together, it became platonic!? How... ironic? Anyway, overall this series had its MOMENTS. Great acting from most of the cast and the side couples were lovely as well. Soundtrack was well suited -props to the novelist... All in all, i wouldnt rewatch. If i were to, it'd only be certain parts. Ive watched many bls over the last decade and ive held my favorites close to my heart and have rewatched and can still rewatch the entire thing. Sadly, this will not be one of them.

Until episode 10, I felt that this was one of the best BL series I've watched, even when at the beginning I didn't have many expectations with the show. First of all, the series is heart-warming and I loved the development even if it was slow. But the last 3 episodes were very bland, the script, editing and direction were so disappointing. I even felt bored with the relationship between Sarawat and Tine and I wanted to see more of the side couples, specially Man and Type.
My main complaint is the lack of intimacy between Wat and Tine in the last episodes. I've watched some chinese series, and even with the censorship, they feel more like boyfriends than Sarawat and Tine. Metawin and Bright are very good actors, they clearly carry the weight of the show. I specially love Win, he's so charismatic. The OST is amazing, I felt in love with many Scrubb songs and I'm sure I'll keep on listening to those songs for a long time. I don't plan to rewatch 2gether for a while now, but when I do, I will skip the last 3 episodes, specially the ending. The last episode was so anticlimactic, rushed and filled with unnecessary flashbacks. 2gether was building an amazing relationship between the main characters but at the end everything falls apart.

The storyline started well. Win and Bright are more of best buds in this series than boyfriends. The relationship is more perceived as roommates. The chemistry among the two casts is meh...... New and Gulf have more chemistry than these two. Sorry Bright , we love you. Bright is the one who kept me going cause he was the one who was being romantic to show that they were dating. The problem with this series is that the relationship were meh... Win looked uncomfortable on set. If it were me to binge watch I wouldn't have finished the series I would have stopped watching at episode 5or 6. Then they ruin Sarawat's character at the second last episode then I realized that they(Time and Sarawat) had an ambiguous relationship. When I reached at the end I was like wtf ! Cause by by the end of it they were more of bff's than boyfriends and so I realized I just got thirst trapped.

I was surprise that this series is the most popular out of all series

I remember watching for the first time and just a few minutes I drop, I don't why maybe because I still not interested

It turned out this year I watch it back cause I see to many comments in tik tok say, if you don't watch 2gether then you are not bl fan (like seriously? It this series was really that great?)

And then I read the synopsis and it got my interested (fake boyfriend, music) so I decided to watch

I enjoy the episode one two three four five (it was hilarious drama that make me laugh like crazy people) and I was like wow this drama is good

But then my expectation go down, why there act like brother then a couple? I mean usually when there are start couple there will focusing more about how there will development the relationship

But it was getting mess, it suddenly become serious drama

Green less screen time, sudden the uncomfortable third couple, like what the hack it going on?

And one more thing, it this bl or bromance ? There don't have any romantic moment between main couple ,I'm not complaining if this series don't have bed scene since It was under gmmtv, but seriously? Are you guys are brother or couple?

And then the episode when sarawat ex comeback like wtf? For real make me curse

I don't hate that woman but I literally hate so much how ego tine was, without listening to explanation ,and then break up just because you saw sarawat and that girl hugging ? And then everyone is pity tine, like for what? Seriously? Do time ever have trust to sarawat?
And then when you know the truth, you don't even consider to apologize first and wait sarawat the one that make step first? Like wtf, sarawat is innocent here ,you the one that should apologize then, do you love you ego more then your lover?

Argggghh I so frust here, the only reason I give it high star because of green, man and type

There the only reason that I can finish 2gether

Idk what to complaining anymore, I'm to tired to re-watch it back

If you are new to bl, 2gether was a great bl to start

But if you the old fan and already watch too many good bl drama, I suggest you to skip this one cause you will never love it

Is it just me?? Haaaiisst..for some reason, I didnt feel Sarawat as a boyfriend material(or the handsome prince)..I like the actors - Win and Bright..they are definitely good looking and can act as well..The story of the series is fine..its light, funny but something is missing..specially on Sarawat's character..Im not sure if its the actor or the script..its just I didnt feel the "Love" and "Caring", specially on the last episode..Maybe because they didnt have a "kissing scene" on the finale..but no,Its NOT.The second couple, Man and Type, I like them..and even if they dont have a kissing scene, im pretty satisfied on how the story ended..and a guy like Man, he's definitely something.I want to marry him(haha). Its true, you dont need a kissing scene or love scene to deliver a good BL..Ive seen many BL series, but Sarawat is definitely on of the weakest character Ive seen..Im not sure if you've seen 2Moons..Im not a fan of the actor who played Phana(Godt,im not a hater as well anyways),his acting skill kinda sucks(sorry, but that was way back 2017,not sure if it already improved)..however,though he has some acting issues, I actually felt Phana from him..I felt the love,care,romance..and the series only has one kissing scene at the end..its not the best kiss out there, but somehow,it satisfies the whole series. What I mean is, if i can choose a guy to marry, I will choose someone like Phana(from 2moons or even 2moons2),or kongbop(from Sotus),or Tharn(from TharnType),and ofcourse Ae(from Love by Chance)...Sarawat is good looking..and I think he's a good person..but something is missing...not really sure what it is..i just, didnt feel it.Sorry..specially on the last episode, Tine was really hurt, and sick..but..ahhh..I dont know..Im happy for the happy ending..its just something is missing..And sorry, the "concert" part feels so "corny"..I mean its a good idea to propose your love on a stage, I just hoped that they did it better. That part really sucks.sorry.

Started of really well which but ended up disappointing. Personally think that Pam intrusion was unecessary and even if they wanted to do so, they should have done earlier. Side couples were underdeveloped and its disappointing because they had so much potential. All these caused the ending to be really rushed and it felt more like a "forceful" happy ending. Overall I expected more from it since it had such a strong start but it didnt have enough support for the ending.

p.s gunsmile it too underrated his parts were so enjoyable

I didn't rated with a lower rating just because it was my first thai drama I ever watched and I want to believe that some aspects that I didn't like was because i wasn't that used with the culture, and I also didn't wanted to be that critic since in some points was my fault I got disappointed since I was the one who got taken by the hype it was getting and had too high expectations.
The drama was pretty unrealistic and rarely addressed important issues for example they had a good opportunity to use Tine storyline to at least show a bit more realism since he was denying himself that he liked a boy, I even thought that was going to be the main arc, but the drama didn't even addressed at it of a important thing at all.
The drama is not the worst drama I ever watched it was an ok I think if you start watching with a open mind and just for fun it actually pretty good to spend time I wouldn't rewatch it either but that depends on each one.

First BL drama ever watched!!

This is my first review for a drama which has touched my heart. I started watching it coincidentally on Friday when the 8th ep was released. I didn't think it would be that good but I underestimated it. I was so into the drama that I watched the 8 episodes in one go and started to fangirl the main couple. Over all I really enjoyed it till end. The plot never made me feel bore or unenthusiastic which was the main reason which makes you watch it. You won't get bored till the end. It will make you sad, happy, angry and mad. This drama made me go through all these emotions and I am so glad I watched it. I would recommend this for BL genres lovers (ofcourse) and those who like romcom and drama (that is present in all drama) and those who love music as well. Last but not the least, this drama has taught me alot and I wish to see Bright and Win together again. ^-^

point for deep thinking:

Every time frank go on screen the screen shine , this guy is one of the most Thai stunning actors...just devistating...i wish to watch him again in another drama with new man
to tell the truth i like all the actors...(except gun...) but i really like all of them,

story:
bl drama...very cliche, more as a kdrama, fluffy, romantic, mostly empty plot with empty emotions, fake as can be
Tine meet fighter want to pretend they are couple so he can get rid of green ...the plot is ok i guess...it doesn't need to be complicated to be intresting,

acting:
tine is ok, the rest is ok , gun&nannaa are really bad, can't stand them both, Bright is gourgace but no acting skills...he is good more as a model and singer

music
better than other bl dramas

point for deep thinking:
this drama is one of those that want to use the gays community for pure profit , to ride on their back and enjoy it while not giving back nothing in return. it's a Cynical use in those poor people that want to live like everyone but feel different, they are using gays to make money,
how much they can stretch their bad intentions...1 year? 2? it's already been 6 years if i am not mistaken since this wave of bl began.

overall
its started ok, than cute,THAN RELLAY CUTE AND NEAR THE END: DISASTER...the side couples were better and cuter until the end.
