Effective musical romance
The strong points of the series are Bright's musical scenes, reasonably three dimensional performances from the leads, and the soundtrack. The weak points are unconvincing body language between the leads and some clumsy writing that makes the series drag in places. The main arc and plot is well supported by the performances and soundtrack: an introvert who has a habit of communicating emotions through music meets and falls in love with somoene with whom that resonates, and the two of them need to work out how to make the sometimes awkward relationship work. For the series to work the musical scenes need to work, and Bright is a good enough musician to pull that off. The scenes where he sings to Tine are convincingly touching and carry the emotional impact they need to.
What doesn't work so well is the body language between Sarawat and Tine. They just don't seem to be a couple in love very often. I suspect it's in part intentional: a somewhat awkward relationship with an introvert that is somehow advanced by sharing emotions through music. I think it's probably also a result of having limited time to work on multiple takes of the secenes where they interact privately because of the time it likely took to shoot the musical scenes in the series.
Overall though I think the series accomplishes most of what it aims to do, and it's one of the best music centered series I've seen. If they had resorted to the usual fake guitar and produced vocals the series would have been a failure. Very credible and raw musical performances are worth the tradeoff of a little less credible chemistry between the leads here and there.

Genuine review Only for new comers
I regret watching this piece of trash 😭Actors can't even act and just passing awkward smiles as if it'll help with anything.
It was hyped up that's why in 2024 i watched to check what's actually in this just to find nothing is actually there.
People should come to reality and throw the 2021 bl era away, because it's 2024 and also many better series were there at the same time but people chose to hype this thing out of all 😮💨
All I know is someone did accepted that the hype was because bright was so handsome lead at that time 💀
... Gurl he can't even act, what's the use of that handsomeness?
The plot, story, actors everything was just cringe also it's not even a bl, bl is not two guys just pretending to be couples without even showing feelings, its BROMANCE accept that!
(Also it's all my opinion, and also awareness for the newcomers)

What happened to the chemistry?
I absolutely loved the first few episodes of the seires. The sparks were flying between Sarawat and Tine, I really enjoyed their interactions as well as their friend groups. This includes the later flashbacks to - Wat had some great wingmen on his side, that's for sure! However, as the series progressed, I felt like the spark between Sarawat and Tine was gone. There was very little physical contact between the two (no kissing, no hand holding, no cuddles) once they became official, which was kind of weird as such things are very important in a relationship.Sarawat & Tine: As i said, the first few episodes were amazing. I think Wat had us all fooled at first, I loved the plot twist relating to their relationship. I did find Tine a bit childish at times, especially in how he choose ti deal with Green, but he also pulled through at some crucial moments. I know Wat was supposed to be this mysterious and cool musician, but I did find him quite cold at times. The amount of sorrow and pain I felt when Tine broke down crying... Win did such an amazing job with that scene. Also the whole boobs thing - why, just why?
Man & Type: Seeing the two actors, I think we all knew this was going to be a side couple we will all love. I think this was one pairing that I didn't know I needed, but I absolutely love. Man does seem like a bit of a manchild at first, but he does show his more mature side once he and Type start getting closer. I did enjoy how persistent he was, yet he never went to far. I especially enjoyed the moments Type realized he has feelings for Man. It was adorable! The dinner scene was so painful to watch though, I think the actors did an amazing job portraying the emotions.
Mil & Phukong: I was very on the fence about this couple. I love both Drake and Frank as actors, they have great chemistry together too, but I wasn't really sure how the whole thing with Mil going after Tine and hating Wat will play out. Especially with Phukong being Wat's brother. I do appreciate that while Phukong was crushing on Mil, he did not let that completely blind him about Mil's mistakes and bad intentions.
Dim & Green: I like them individually, but I don't like them together. I feel like they are not a good match, it's like they are suffocating each other and they do not handled their issues well.
The conflicts were very typical - lack of communication, misunderstandings and girls getting in the way - but I wasn't really that bothered by it. They are cliches, yes, but they are not something that would make me give a low score to a series. I think my scoring is quite high because I really loved the actors which often outweighted the less satisfying parts of the series for me. I'm biased, I know.
The ending left a lot of things unsolved and unfinished, but I didn't let that bother me as I knew there is season 2 out that I watched right after I finished episode 13.

It is not as bad as people are saying - simple more emotional based conservative BL story
I read the reviews and I was expecting this total disaster of a show. I didn't find that to be true. Yes, the steam factor is not there but it isn't lacking with intimacy nor a complete story.2gether just comes to the story from a more conservative angle. It may not be for everyone but I felt that it was a totally complete story. It just wasn't a very deep story - more superficial.
It isn't a 10 but I don't feel it's bad. It's just different. The ending fits the story - not the most overtly outgoing happy ending but it is a happy ending.
If you have time and come to this with an open mind and don't expect the steaminess most BL's show - this is an easy watch. Win and Bright -- are adorable!

Lemme be honest with this series.
Tbh, and the truth is this series is sooooooo popular and has high demand due to the main cast visuals. Especially bright. but i like win since he's just so cute. at first i really like this series, but after the episode the woman came like last 3 ep? i already thinking to drop this series. it's just hilarious like how can win forgive him that easy lol? i also confused with bright behavior when that woman came because, he totally fall head over heels for win and totally OBSESSED with win. he already planned everything, that kinda creepy but anyways that's why i questioning his behavior that suddenly changed 360° when that woman came. Was this review helpful to you?

It's kind of complicated to talk about this show as a whole since the quality really changes. The storyline is quite simple, a pretty straightforward plot. The actors seemed to be at first kind of stiff, and in my opinion, only Win's acting gets better, Bright acts to stiffly if that makes sense, although they are both young so there is room for improvements. The chemistry in the first episodes was kind of good, and then it got ruined the second they had to show actual connection and love. Still, 2gether is better, though. I was not the biggest fan, but it is not as bad as people like to say now. Don't hate just for the sake of hating. Was this review helpful to you?
was expecting much much more...
Honestly, the reason I started this series, despite not loving the premise, is because of how high the reviews were on Viki. It had a 9.4 star rating!!!! but this show was so bad!!!!! The actors had literally no chemistry, like I wasn't convinced at all that Sarawat liked Tine at all. The acting coming from Bright wasn't awful, but it seemed like he didn't care about anything for the entire show. I don't think the romance genre suit him. I thought Win's performance was pretty solid, considering the lack of experience. All of the side characters had very good performances as well. II really didn't enjoy the whole fan club thing that Sarawat had going on the whole time. It was so unrealistic!! like why are all these girls absolutely drooling after him when he gives them literally zero attention and if anything, is rude to them? Why do these girls completely ignore all of the other hot boys around and unconditionally love him? Honestly, I thought Tine was hotter. Every time the whole girls fanning over him thing came up (often) I was just completely pulled out of the plot. There were no good female characters either.
Now, the chemistry. How are we supposed to believe they are boyfriends if they barely even touch each other? I think they kissed like once!! Their vibe gives more brothers than it does boyfriends. It's not like im asking for explicit sex or anything, but maybe some hand holding? An arm around the waist? A little kiss? come on!!!
Part of the reason I picked up this show was because I had a 10 hour flight and I didn't want to watch a show that was super explicit, a consideration for the people behind me lol.
The plot was very very predictable. And not very interesting. The writing wasn't awful but not anything to be impressed by.
TLDR: the acting from Bright was lackluster, but Wat's) was pretty good. The plot was bad, they barely touch each other. The side couples and actors were good, but not good enough to make the show worth watching.
Unless you really really REALLY love the whole university BL trope, and don't care for intimacy, (or intend to watch this show on a plane or something), I wouldn't watch it. very lukewarm acting and show. I cannot BELIEVE the rating is so high on Viki.

I started watching this drama just because I had heard a lot of positive comments about it, but I have got to say that this show is really overrated and some of reviews are really exaggerated. I tried hard to persuade myself that there was a chemistry between Tine and Sarawat, and sometimes I found it. I am not going to talk about plot holes and I just want to cut to the chase and ask ''WHERE THE FUCK IS CONVERSATION????". Have they ever heard of it? The thing that they broke up and made up for one episode was a travesty. Why Tine did not even give Sarawat a chance to talk and explain himself? And the thing that got me hollering at the screen was that Tine was pertinaciously trying to dissuade Pam that Sawarat did not love her. Pal, what is wrong with you? The chick said that herself. I am not as pissed off because of this as I was while watching TharnType, who could not learn to trust each other after 7 years.
Ok, If you watch this for the plot, then you may get really exhausted sometimes, but If the only thing you care about is Sarawat with his captivating eyes and incredible smile (they got me too), then go on.

i love them but the storyline could be deeper
I love this couple and series so much and it has brought me so much joy watching it. I started listening to thai music because of the memories it all brought back of this series and it has become a safe space for me. However, whilst I would rewatch it since I'm a simp for them both like that, looking back, the story line is poor and I don't really understand how they managed to get a second season out of this. The relationship in my opinion doesn't seem to go anywhere series or develop in any way and considering the number of episodes I feel like they could have definitely done more. I would 100% recommend this series as I think it is a must in the BL series community, but don't expect much... depth? Was this review helpful to you?

Definitely innocent and cute, has it's minuses
I had to watch this series two times to enjoy it fully.First time I watched it I thought it was cute and all but nothing really special. But it was only because I was new to lakorns.
Now I've seen it second time I think this is really adorable and wholesome. I got the chance to analyze it again and this time do it properly.
Let's start with something light. The music is great, and the fact that the band is a real thing is giving more vibe to whole series. Thanks to this there is a lot of songs played and not just a few or even just one. BL series usually don't have any advanced soundtracks. It is definitely a big plus. The band had songs with matching vibe to the whole series.
The chemistry between actors is cute and conversations don't feel awkward. However, there is one big BUT. Their conversations and little touches may be cute and adorable, BUT... there is a lack of physical touch. There are indeed a few kisses, but they ain't it. I know that physical things are hard to do and for actors it may be uncomfortable, but you know... The series would be a lot better with just a little bit more. It's not that there are tons of horny fans who want to see them do weird things, but without these the relationship often feels forced. They tried to bring in more of this content, like the bouqet of condoms (which was kinda awkward), but it would never be enough to get the realationship to be more real. You want it or not, physical touch is needed.
Whole plot was very adorable, apart from this lack of touch it was enjoyable and comforting. It is a very well-written series with funny moments and a lot of plot twists. Well, unfortunately there is another BUT...
I enjoyed it ALMOST all the time through the series. But there was just one big mess at the end. I know the things with trust are sometimes needed to show that it's not easy to be in a relationship yet it was just SO HARD to watch this whole fuss about lack of trust and... Let's just say it is a part of this series where you have to endure it. Almost every series have this moments when it's uncomfortable to watch, so ... It started very strong and gave a very good impression yet they just can't add useless drama at the end to just make it more "interesting" some series are just meant to go without any trust issues and all. Since Tine and Sarawat were both innocent it doesn't make sense with this illogicaly large jealousy. I had to skip the last 3 episodes to just see the happy end and not stress myself f watching them.
I like this series very much, but after seeing A LOT of BL lakorns I must say, it had great potential, but could be done better. Of course I recommend watching it and creating your own opinion, becuse it's seriously great at the beggining. I guess it's good to see it when you haven't seen a lot of series yet and you don't have big experience.

overrated
I do not understand how this series got the hype it did. yes, it might have gone well as a bromance and I would have been able to overlook some things had it not been a bl. But being a bl, I was so disappointed 😞. I actually really enjoyed he first couple of scenes, but once they were officially in love, that's where it all went downhill. A couple doesn't need to show sex scenes and kisses all the time to prove to us that they are in love. Dramas such as a shoulder to cry on and cherry magic prove that! HOWEVER a chemistry has to exist between the main leads, and unfortunately they did not serve. AT ALL. They didn't act like a couple, and that could be felt. I really don't understand how this show got so overhyped. Was this review helpful to you?
It was a fun series.
this is a fun series, but very much lacking in development. It Felt flat a lot of the time. Sadly for me felt more like bromance than boy love. The actors are good, but the pairing just did not fit too well. I enjoyed the series a lot, there are funny moments and a lovely story of development, but lost focus and drive a lot. The side characters were more fun to me than the leads. Overall its a fun series but I could not invest in this one or part two. I understand both actors are straight but felt like a forced pair that did not feel were connecting to good. Was this review helpful to you?
