It's hard to appreciate this BL series that is going downhill. I am cringing on some part of acting, not gonna mention which part but I'm sure we have the same.
My final verdict. "its a meh"
On the good side their OST are my favorites plus their chemistry are great too.
Okay this requires 500 characters and I will try to add unnecessary words just to post my short review.
I'll just promote some of the series that I finished and appreciated for a while now because they stole my heart and a lot of tears.
In no particular order!!!!
1. Until We Meet Again
2. Love By Chance
3. LoveSick
4. Tharntype
5. Sotus and Sotus S

Let’s start with the positive aspects. First of all, the cast was great, I can’t complain about anyone. Also, the characters they played were mostly well-written, they felt relatable and genuine. I could feel the author of “Theory of Love” (which I loved); unlike other BL series, the characters didn’t feel cartoonish or totally unrealistic. The music was on point, obviously, the screentime of the side characters was okay and the amount of humour was just right. The overall storytelling was smooth and never boring, although it sometimes jumped a little too quickly from one scene to the next one.
However, I expected more. After the first, say, 5 episodes, some more story development and more drama should have occurred; it just started going in circles at some point. When there was some tension, it was usually quickly resolved within the course of just one episode, so I could not get invested in it. The emotions of the characters felt very real, but it all went too quick to really get me emotional while watching. It was all fun and sweet, no doubt, but just too “light” for me to fully enjoy it.

[STORY] 8.5/10At first, the story was really lighthearted and that was why I was very drawn to it. I followed this show before it just blew up everywhere. I felt like it was a cute story. I was spoiled beforehand that Sarawat had a longtime crush on Tine so I understood why Sarawat acted the way he did. As for Tine, I think it was quite natural how he responded to things in the first two-thirds of the story. I could visibly see how every small details led up to Tine falling for Sarawat. I would've given this much a higher score if the last 3 episodes were much better. To be honest, the ending was a huge disappointment for me. I feel like the story was too fast-paced and it didn't make sense at all too. I feel like the reason of their so-called "misunderstanding" is just too ridiculous. It's understandable that Tine got jealous seeing Pam hugging Sarawat but Sarawat could've simply explained but he didn't and they broke up?! It doesn't make sense at all. And the fact that Pam has a recording of Sarawat saying that he can't write a song for her, didn't anyone find that weird?!! I feel like I didn't get a proper closure for our main couple. I just felt the whole story wasn't wrapped up well and there were still loose ends. I felt like there should be more to the story of Sarawat & Tine. And this is not even including the boring story of Man & Type. It could've been so much better if they used that time to develop Mil & Phukong.
[ACTING] 9.0/10
I definitely have to praise Win for such an outstanding acting skill. For a newbie in his first series, I think Win did an excellent shop. I could really see the emotions of Tine through his expressions and could see how he was falling in love slowly. It was just so convincing. However, in the last few episodes, I think it is also because of the script, I felt like I lost connection to the character Tine. The acting got a bit cringy and I felt uncomfortable watching him cry. Other than that, I would still say he is one of the best BL actors I've seen.
As for Bright, I am very happy that he was chosen to be Sarawat. I feel like no one else could've pulled off the character better than him. I was very much convinced that he was Sarawat even though he was acting. I could totally see how much he was in love with Tine. The problem I have with Bright is similar to my problem with Win. Due to the abrupt change of speed in the script, I lost my connection to Sarawat and suddenly felt like he was doing stupid things. His expressions became weird and out of place. Without it, the overall acting deserves 10/10.
[MUSIC] 10/10
Scrubb songs are the best, I swear! Bright's voice is also very wonderful! Listening to their OSTs really made me happy and it's one of the those songs that I would play it when I'm doing something else and still jam to every single lyric in it.

I finished this show a couple of days ago and waited for my warring emotions to calm down before I could write a mostly unbiased review. So You know how when you are eating a dish that's absolutely delicious and then you reach the bottom and it's kinda burnt, not too much to actually ruin the whole dish but enough to leave a bitter aftertaste. Well 2gether the series was exactly like that for me.
The story started out strong. Tine asking Sarawat to fake date him so as to get rid of a semi-stalker guy named Green who won't take no for an answer was mostly believable (It's hard to accept that someone as good looking as Tine couldn't get an actual girlfriend but had to hire someone to pretend that ultimately failed, after which he decided to pursue the most unattainable guy on campus for help, but for the sake of the story I'll let it pass).
After playing hard to get, Sarawat gives in and the fake dating begins. This part was probably the best in the whole series. If you have seen other asian dramas you'll know that the typical unattainable guys are generally bad at dating which results in hilarious situations. Adding to these situations are the group of friends for each ML. Where Sarawat's friends are ever too eager with helping him (going as far as to get Tine drunk), Tine's friends are equally unhelpful and almost always help make the situation worse (they'll either give him bad advice or will simply bail if he is in a bind which is extremely funny btw).
Green was another character who turned from kinda irritating to sort of endearing so much so that I believe he now has his own fandom. His relationship with P'Dim wasn't explored too much and they definitely deserved more screen time.
I believe the main problem to the storyline started when the two MLs got into an actual relationship. The so called relationship development seemed to have stopped and the chemistry just faded away. The issue of familial acceptance (which is a big deal in real life) was trivialized and the problem with Sarawat's school friend/first love was shown as the 'make it or break it' type situation (which in my opinion still remains kinda unresolved).
P'Mil was another character that had a very positive development in the series but his and Phukong's relationship wasn't explored much either (their ending was more 'close friendship' and less 'hope for new relationship').
P'Type and Man was the couple that seemed to carry the Finale on their shoulders and making fans wish for their own spin-off series.
Music was a big part of the whole series therefore there's no surprise that the Ost was good.
The cast was great. All the character's were portrayed very well. The actor Win did a great job for his first series. Gun was fabulous as always. And even though Bright's character profile was kinda confusing at the end, he did a good job as well.
In conclusion this series is one of the better BLs that's definitely recommended but just watch it with lower expectations.

This is SO cute!
I really loved this series! It was super cute and kiNd of funny! I’ll definitely be watching it again!I love all the cute things they do to each other and I just had a smile on my face for most of the series. I’m not kidding, I literally found myself smiling while watching this!!!
The plot is nothing too complicated or super original, but it was super nice to watch and I just felt really happy watching it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes, cute simple series !

The story was not the newest thing ever, however, the way it was acted out indeed was. The actors did great in portraying the characters and making them their own. The story does not have heavy make-out sessions, and hardly any kisses either. But it shows love, not sure how but it just does so. All the characters are loveable, although episode 12's break-up was very unnecessary, then again it is a BL. The music was one of the main aspects and it was good! It is very unbelievable that this is Win's first time acting, he was really good. The chemistry between BrightWin was extremely electrifying, especially in the beginning! All the side characters were the best, I loved their friendships and the whole series is excellent. Was this review helpful to you?

Disappointment
Well.. this is actually the only BL drama that i ever decided to drop out of and let me tell you why. The only possible way to like this series is when this is your first ever BL series ! Why ? Because as a first timer you've got no idea, what the BL world is like so you don't expect anything. I bet and this is a heads up ! .. If you have never seen any BL.s at all then please do go for it ! Because softly saying.. it gives out the idea ,, what BL even means ,, and it fits perfectly as the first ever one to watch because if that was my first one.. i would've loved it . Problem for me is.. i took it on after many truly hot BL series.. so it fell bland for me .. truth is.. the story isn't that fresh, also the base itself is soft ! .. Like one mentioned it's more like bromance instead of romance .. No chemistry filled scenes .. hotness.. Nada ! But i did watch similar korean BL as my first one ever and i truly loved it.. I bet i wouldn't have if it wasn't my first one . Messed up logic but i hope it somehow helps out. Good things ? .. Let's face it.. main characters are cute and hot.. they have so much potential.. i wish they showed us more.. it could've been something great thats for sure . I know it has another season but sadly i'm not even bothered to finish the first one. Let's just say that maybe.. one day.. if i'm dying from boredom i might try this again ? Sadly.. i rather re watch my favorite ones 2 more rounds. Was this review helpful to you?

I want to avoid a complete recap of the plot, so i will just say that it was your standard secret crush meets "fake" relationship. Initially I wasn't sure how I felt about Green because he is essentially a foil character for the plot, but I'm glad that they treated his character respectfully rather than for pure comic relief (although he provided some). BLs are notorious for including more couples than it is even possible to provide screen time for, but I thought all 3 couples had cute and fairly (look nothing is perfect when we get past 2 couples) well developed plot lines. Really at the end of the day it's the writers/directors that I take exception with. The show is good, and yet it also falls into most of the BL tropes: insanely possessive partner, needless drama that stems from a lack of communication, some accident or fight that requires one person tending to the other as some sort of romantic gesture, stalking/extreme over interest presented as romantic, continually overstepping boundaries... that's just to name a few. And the ending I mean honestly yikes for the last 2 episodes especially.
I enjoyed the acting and production the most (yea I know the editing in some places, but honestly watching this side by side with WHY R U? I honestly overlooked most of it). Bright/Win have great chemistry (well at least in the beginning) and I felt it was evident that Bright had done his homework and read the novel while preparing for his role. I applaud Win especially for the stairwell crying scene, i thought it was one of the most believable. It was nice to see Drake/Frank again and see how much their acting has improved although I did not particularly like Mil and Phukong's character was just poorly written (unfortunate for Frank). Mil continuously overstepped his boundary and was so possessive of Tine which I'm not saying would be ok even if they were together but it's especially inappropriate as he has not Ties to Tine. Oh Gunsmile, always a bridesmaid never a bride, I prefer his roles as the comic relief so I enjoyed him in this series. I thought Toptap/Mike were cute although this was not my favorite role for Toptap.
I thought it was really cool how the series revolved around Scrubb and that they were actually able to participate in the series. I'd never heard of Scrubb before, but I can imagine that it was nostalgic for a lot of viewers.
I overall enjoyed the series. I thought it was cute and it held my attention well. I felt the drama in the last 2 episodes was so contrived, but it only negatively effected my opinion slightly.
