Dear Mayang Street

Though the plot of both drama is completely different but they still have similarities like both are periodic drama and in both drama a group of friend circle is shown also both started with the high school plot it just that dear mayang street is more like a life lesson as it include lover story ,carrier growth, struggle bond between neighbours .

Both have a similar feel and tone, dealing with the hardships and experiences of the characters.

In lost you forever, we can say that xiang liu loved xiaoyao(FL) but deep inside he know he can't be with her. because what she want to be forever with the love one and inseperable with each other. and from xiaoyao pov, we can say she also want to love xiang liu because they share many good moment having similiar story, well they know the misery of each other. but she was to afraid of him. because he was so good to mask his feeling with his word

in dear mayang story the male and female is neighboor (sorry forgot the character name), they both smart and match with each other and their friend also think like that, but one day new male move to their neighborhod and he feel in love on first sight, he always try to be with her, meanwhile the old male didnt to be with her because he assign as cop spy and he can't free himself until he died

4) starts in the 1980s
5) it has well known actors

They both are high school love stories. Here Li Xia is like Ma Xiao Xiao topper and serious. The character of Lu Zhi Ang and Yi Dong Dong is also somewhere similar because both of them are funny and easy going.

Both are nostalgic settings and focus on the families who live in a neighborhood in the 80s or 90s. Both have a similar feel.

Both are a trio of friends/love triangle between two MLs and a FL who live on the same street. Both have a nostalgic feel with the FL starting out crushing on a different ML than she ultimately ends up with.
