Sifeng Has Learnt Us How To Love

I think New Year's Eve is the best time to write the review about my favourite Cdrama in 2020)
That was really strange year for all, but looking back I can find a few good things happened this year and L&R is definitely one of them!

This story is truly special, male lead and female lead both are unique. They trust each other and protect each other from the very beginning till the end. As Xuan Ji said: "I won't marry anyone except Sifeng!". He definitely felt in love first, but she was the person who first proposed :)) and she reminded about the marriage during the whole story (typical girl :-D)

Sifeng's love is unconditionally and wholeheartedly. I won't say much about it, but just join to many many reviews saying "this character is the best man in the world". True.
Xuan Ji's love needed more time to grow and she perfectly said about it: " I loved you in every life. I'm not heartless, but I just understand it a bit slow. Can you wait for me? Be patient with me."
I would say the same for the future viewers - be patient with Xuan Ji and you will love her, I promise!)

Personally I like Xuan Ji character from the beginning, from the scenes when she ALWAYS been protective of Sifeng even before gaining 6 senses back. She is a brave girl!)

And personally I like the episodes from 40 to 47 - firstly, Sifeng has demonstrated his other side as a leader of the clan and strategy planner, and secondly, because his clothes and make up were awesome there!)))))

All other characters are also perfect and you will love them, most likely even antagonists, because they are so hot!!))

Love and Redemption is a drama with 10 of 10 rewatch value. Just as a warning))

Thank you, 2020, for Yu Sifeng and Xuan Ji love story! I will keep them in my memory!

The best c drama in 2020

For me , this is my one of my top favorite C drama. When I say it is the c drama in 2020 , it doesn't mean the others were bad. The drama consist a very interesting in plot. To all the people who is reading this , I am recommending this drama to you guys. The ending made me cry so much. For me , sad ending dramas are the best. At the ending when Sifeng died because he wants to protect the memories of him and Xuanji made me cry like crazy. They keep breaking up and getting back together. Every time they break up, I will get my tissues to wipe my tear but when they get back together , I will get mad at the script writer cuz they made me cry hahah. Overall beside the bad editing on the magic effects , the drama is awesome

Falling in love with this drama. Can’t stop watch it.

I watch this drama because of Crystal Yuan from Listening snow tower. After watch it many actors do it well not only Crystal.

Story line of this drama is very interesting. They connect the story smoothly and many story show the angle of characters and reason why to make people feel emotional to them in the next ep.

The characters of Female lead is very interested who have a good improvement characters during the drama. Both male and female lead acting is the best. Cheng Yi and Crystal are best chemistry that I never touch this feel from other drama.

I like visual FX and music,

I minus .5 point because male lead is more crazy in love. In my opinion, if he want to protect someone they should let they can help yourself not only protect like this way. Also, they have a plan to protect and not explain. However, I still like this drama.

10/10 watch value

This show is 10/10 worth watching. Obviously nothing is perfect and there will be parts everyone like or dislike or frustrated but it's 10/10 worth your time to give it a watch.

Female lead has the innocent, clumsy, weak characteristic but also very strong, powerful and assertive. You may ask how? That's what makes the show great because the character has it all. Male lead is also not written as indestructible type that lucks out in everything so it does keep you guessing what's going to happen to him.

The story of both male and female leads background and character is interesting. Most drama has male lead making the move on female lead but this show isn't just like that so it's a great change. Kiss scene are not stupid it's believable. I think we all know what I mean by that when I say stupid. So the acting is great.

Best Drama of 2020

Loved the acting of both ML,FL
Cheng yi one of the best actors of C Drama

All in all, the journey undergone by the characters, from youth to adulthood. From innocence to responsibility. From a glass heart to an all encompassing love. Love and Redemption is a drama you do not want to miss. Especially for the beautiful tale of love and sacrifice between Xuan Ji and Si Feng. It makes you wonder how far a persons love can truely go.


Overall it was quite good, as long as you don't compare it with other Xianxia dramas, it is fairly good as a standalone piece and it's worth watching! Oh, especially if you enjoy watching good looking casts, this drama almost all of them (even the villains) are as good looking as the main leads which is quite eye-pleasing!

What a dreadful story

Okay so first of all i i watched all of the 59 eps so i will be having ALOTTT to say.

The beginning of the drama started off pretty decently i actually really liked the leads in the beginning their relationship seemed cutesy and fun. but then towards like episode 30ish is when everything turn to complete BS from the male lead sacrificing himself over and over again when the female lead clearly couldn’t give two shits was really it for me. also when he would hide things from the female lead in the means of “protecting her” and that everything will be fine once she knows what he did for her even if it means he has to die, it quickly became such a laughable drama their whole relationship didn’t even seem genuine anymore it seemed rather forced like he was just a offering chip to suffer for all of the female leads foolish actions.

Moving on also i really liked his spirit beast i wished that they focused more on her relationship with rou yu instead of forcing her to be in a one sided relationship with the idiotic male lead. she was also like a offering chip for the male lead anyways when she died i cried it was pitiful that she only loved a man who kept offering himself up for a foolish woman.

Anyways moving on to the sect leader why were they so weak ?? like almost off the demons could take them down aren’t they supposed to be strong or whatever, also the female lead was literally throwing them like rag dolls any chance she got that was pathetic.

The villains in this drama were pretty laughable it’s like they would survive over and over again to wreak the same havoc then mysteriously leave but anyways moving on..

Finally the female lead omgg she was my favorite in the beginning but then she slowly became my least favorite her and the ML. she had little to no trust in the male lead even though she would say she believed in him she would double back whenever one of the sect members sparked a bit of doubt in her and do all of her tortures acts to the ML. then the male lead would go through the same cycle of suffering for her over and over again . Their relationship was toxic and was built of the fact that they went through tribulations together so they have to stay together because she hurt him in his past 9 lives.

Also linglong storyline was so unnecessary like literally her trauma made no sense because why is the flower demon memories trigger you and the fact that she “overcame “ her depression when sixth senior finally decided to marry her is pitful.


Overall the storytelling was decent the storyline was also pretty decent but the romance part of this drama for me ill pass thank you.

OVERALL:
I was thinking how good of a drama must this be.. I didnt know much about this but it was trending all over the chinese internet.. Weibo and Douyin. Almost every week a few rankings of the hot search will be related to the show so i tried to watch and i gotta say i love this so so much. JUST WATCH IT. You literally will become part of the clique [SF,XJ, 6th Senior, Ling Long, Xiao ying hua, Liu Yi Huan, Ting Nu, Wu zhi qi and Zi Hu] This show is really really very torturing. With all the misunderstandings stacked on misunderstanding. Male lead tries his best to dissolve the dispute but he gets accused and accused all because of a jealous prick, i bet yall know who he is :P
The ending [by ending i mean the last battle in the heaven realm] was really unpredictable. I was thinking how they were gonna end it. Honestly, kinda sad that Luohou Jidu had to die because i could see him turning over a new leaf.
I have nothing else to say other than this show will become one of the legendary shows like Eternal Love, Ashes of Love etc. If i say any further ... i will spoil the whole show :<

Beautiful - In All Aspects

BEAUTIFUL & HEARTWARMING! The story, the acting, the production, and the visual effects- I find each of these categories as well thought of and done beautifully. The story isn't as burdensome and angst heavy as others, and that's the main reason I loved this show. Viewers will still be able to enjoy each episode even if there are some heavy scenes. Also, there's character growth, and both strong and equal male and female leads. The acting was also perfect as it was able to blend seamlessly into the story. The portrayal was done right and didn't seem too overboard or underwhelming. There are characters you'll root for until the end, characters you'll hate until the end, and characters you'll grow to either love or hate. Overall, I'm very pleased with this drama.
