Mei Chao Feng appears on both dramas.

I love both dramas as well. In fact, Nine Yin True Sutra is actually quite good to watch.

This 2003 version is also as good as the current adaptation.

I love this version more than the HK adaptation.

This is the 2003 adaption of the same novel from Jin Young's Legend of the Condor Hero. Done during the early 2000's, this version shows a strong performance from Zhou Xun as Huang Rong. This adaption follows the novel faithfully. Is the prequel to the Return of the Condor Hero's 2005 and Heaven Sword Dragon Sabre 2009 of the condor triology.
