Episode Title: The Death of the Late Emperor
The group checks the prescriptions of the late emperor and find a catalytic agent that was on the prescription list. Pei Zhao enters the Palace to find The Empress Dowager as she was the one who provided the prescription, only to find out that it was actually Princess Consort Yun who came up with the list. Now he’s sure Prince Yun is behind the late emperor’s death. Su Ci gets to know that the Xu family in Nanxun has Bai Liang brocade, so the group goes to Nanxun. There they save a young woman who is about to commit suicide. They learn that there was a mysterious case in town. Su Ci and Pei Zhao pretend to be a young couple to start their investigation.
