Recommended Family Drama for Teenager

This family drama is great. I like the story, the moral, the character, the act, sound effect, setting, fashion. I believe every part of this movie must been work hard. The funny, sad, lovely and awkward moment, the pain and struggle are great. I recommend this movie for Teenager for it has less unnecessary intimacy's scene and good moral.Jiang Jiang (5 y.o) lost her mother when giving her brother's birth. But she raised as optimistic girl and full of happiness by her father, Li Hai Chao. He run Noodle Restaurant near their apartment.Ling Xiao (7 y.o) just moved at Jiang Jiang's upstair apartment. His mother left him (her husband, Papa Ling, always busy with his duty as local policeman) after her daughter died by accident. Since she couldn't handle PTSD alone, Ling Xiao's mother left their apartment. Jiang Jiang witnessed it and very happy as his mother said that Jiang Jiang could keep him as her big brother. Zhiqiu (7 y.o) was send by her mother to live with Jiang Jiang's father (Papa Li) after she learned that her blind date, Li Hai Chao, was a gentlemen and could get along with Zhiqiu. At first, Jiang Jiang put Zhiqiu as her enemy since she didn't expect new mother. One day, Jiang Jiang fight with other children who bullied Ling Xiao, Zhiqiu without hesitate defended on her and Jiang Jiang accepted him as his brother. Zhiqiu knows well that his mother love him so much, and keep wondering why she couldn't keep her promise to pick him up right after she settled. Papa Li's fallen in love with Zhiqiu after he called him, Papa. He accepted Zhiqiu as God's gift as Jiang Jiang's need old brother and his lost son. He cooked, took care the children and spend most of his time for the children, as Papa Ling continued busy at hi work. That how the story's start, the growing pain's of 3 sibling with 3 difference's Family Name. Ling Xiao became a brother who lead Jiang Jiang to be straight in study and good girl while Zhiqiu is a brother who always spoil Jiang Jiang.Papa Li and Papa Ling, hand in hand raised 3 motherless children until the 2 brother's left their home after due their parent's problem.

A masterpiece drama

This was a well written drama. The story flowed seamlessly and it did not have the usual cheesy river acting that you normally get in long dramas. Kudos to the screen writers , directors and actors who brought this great piece to life. This was well portrayed slice of life drama. It explores all the issues that people tend to sweep under the rug and really shed light on how parents affect our lives and the pressures of growing up. Loved the sibling bond and how all the characters had issues explored. Rewatch definitely
