General Chu indulges Shen Jin and stays with her at Duke Rui’s mansion. Shen Jin’s mother pushes her to go back home. Shen Jing asks for permission to visit Shen Jin at her mansion but is turned down. She claims that she just wants to get close to Shen Jin but the latter is not keen to entertain her. The ministers pressure Lord Liu to seize the opportunity to defeat General Chu but is told that the time is not ripe yet. Lord Situ asks the Emperor for more time to investigate General Chu. The Emperor agrees but also orders General Chu to be sent back to guard the border. Xiu Yuan is teaching the kids again. Ruo Nan finally agrees to accept his love.
