General's Lady Episode 27

Lord Liu couldn’t find anything during the search at General Chu’s mansion. General Chu orders Rou Rou to stay put in the mansion as they are being watched. Ruo Nan assures Shen Jin that General Chu is back in the city and he is safe. A message is sent to General Chu to go to a meeting place. Xiu Yuan tails him. General Chu meets Lord Liu there. Lord Liu claims that the Emperor is going against General Chu. He wants General Chu to cooperate with him as he wants to seek justice for the 8th Prince. General Chu demands to meet his other partners. Xiu Yuan doesn’t agree with General Chu’s cooperation with Lord Liu. He tries to persuade him to abandon the plan but General Chu refuses. Xiu Yuan then ends up informing Shen Jin who writes her husband a letter. Lord Liu arranges for General Chu to meet with the other rebel minsters. They all claim that the Emperor is involved in the 8th Prince’s death and embezzlement and provide him with ledgers as proof. Xiu Yuan passes Shen Jin’s letter to General Chu. She wants her husband to stop being a traitor especially if he is doing it to rescue her and her family. General Chu tells Xiu Yuan that he has his own plans but Xiu Yuan is still not convinced. Xiu Yuan pleads with him to explain things to Shen Jin. General Chu goes to see his wife who begs him not to rebel. But he refuses to listen. General Chu simply tells Shen Jin to stay put for a few days until things are settled. He also asks Ruo Nan to watch over Shen Jin and not to let her out of the village. Shen Jin is angry and disappointed.
