Shen Shun Tsung was an inventor, philanthropist, and devout Buddhist. Born into abject poverty in 1952, he spent his formative years living in a chicken coop with his family. At the age of 12, he was forced to quit school to work as a mechanic at a steel mill. Despite only receiving a 6th grade education, his inquisitive young mind turned the whole world into his classroom. With an unwavering spirit he never let his past define him.
