Takahashi Rumiko’s Theatre

Middle-aged salaryman Yoshimoto Hajime was a workaholic who left all household matters, including child-rearing, to his wife, Tamayo; the two of them hardly ever spoke as a result of some incident. Then, one day, Yoshimoto suddenly collapsed while dancing bare-chested at a company party and passed away. Worried about the family he has left behind, his ghost appears at his own wake. However, he receives a rude shock when he sees that Tamayo is unruffled by his sudden death. Agonising over what his life had been, he starts to suspect that she may be having an affair with the owner of the cafe where she works part-time… On the other hand, Fuwa Hazuki is skeptical about the actions of her father, Ichiro. The Fuwas run a construction firm. Business has been fairly difficult, and they have neither the free time nor the money. But Fuwa suddenly takes the family out on a holiday.
