Chinese Paladin (2005)

Similar to each other and if you like Ady An's acting, she's in this wuxia series.

Chinese Paladin is a really old one but when I was watching Taoist Grandmaster, it reminded me of Chinese Paladin. Maybe it's just the feeling of the drama. They both focus on the way of Tao.

The first thing that came to mind was Chinese Paladin as I was watching Sword Snow Stride. These were the closest similarities I can find:

Lots of traveling
A bit of a love line going on
Wuxia

All about, love and sacrifices for family, loved ones and friends that evil can never ever understand love.

Prequel and sequel, and both starring Hu Ge as the main lead. Both are considered classics in chinese dramas.

Chinese Paladin is the first television adaptation of The Legend of Sword and Fairy 1.
