The x-eyed sculptures that make an appearance throughout, or are just set decoration, struck me after the first few viewings. What are they called? Who are they by? I have seen them in another series as well and though I always kinda wanted to know, it reminded me to ask the question here... and since we were able to suss-out the commentators maybe we can solve this mystery as well.

Are you perhaps referring to Bearbricks (BE@RBRICK)? It's been couple of years since I watched the show, so I might not be recalling the correct sculptures, though I know these ones show up in a lot of titles.
@xxmai I don't think it was Bearbricks. I explored the link you sent and they all have the same basic shape. The sculptures in the series are similar but are more like distorted rabbits / koalas wearing Mickey-mouse style gloves and boots and have Xs for eyes.
