NO REASON TO SAY NO!!!
well ...what to say I am amazed by how a drama can have no faults to point them out. I just loved it.even the story was so normal and predictable but I just couldn't stop myself from watching it and completing it ASAP.there was a point that I was afraid that the drama will end. I never wanted it to end. I have watched so many dramas but this is the first time I think that I want to say that it wud have been better I the show was still on.
when it comes to the acting and cast... I was just mesmerized by all of them especially the leads. there were so many sweet moments but they were never too much as they were in PYHOMS. I just loved the leads and all the other actors. there was no such actor or character in the story that I can say was useless or just a side chick. they never kept any twist permanent. and there were so many new turns in the drama that kept me hooked. I would love to watch it again.
music was also okay. and the comedy was also too good... I just loved their comic timing and cheng ge's' I will u cut u off' the look was MUAH.
all I want to say now is that yes this was something which I found much similar to one of the fab dramas LOVE O2O and I want ANOTHER SEASON . just loved it!!!!

Repeat for 100 times !
1st it is relatable if you’re a gamers too.2st the ML n FL are just too cute together.
3rd. There are some ep where the idiocy of ML just come out. Or the FL just make you annoyed. But hey. That is how human are. We’re not perfect aren’t we.
4th. They took 20 ep to be in relationship. But behold ! Cause those 20ep full of cute scene and flirting and hinting and bickering or joking.
5th. So good to see each character development. Including others supporting characters.
6th. Love how the plot. The scene. The cinematography. The characters. And ALL. Except for the OST which is not really can be heard. Huhu

Recomendo!

Fun and low budget series
Life is too short for stressful drama. Why spend all that time watching and be stressed? Don’t our lives already provide enough of that?Summary of the series:
- Light hearted rom/com; series had great flow
- simpatico characters
- there were villains but not too stressful from them, there are some long struggles, calamity and miscommunications to cause more drama and some stress
- story was good, but the ending felt rushed
- for some reason, I thought this series was so low budget
still joyful, somewhat stressless series: recommended to watch for sure

Please note that this is my personal view and opinion, and I do not mean to insult anyone with a varying judgmentFalling into your smile was my first c-drama, giving it a very valuable place in my heart. I have rewatched this drama countless times, and it has been my comfort drama for years. That said, I won't be biased with my review.
As sweet and funny as this drama is, it is still extremely cringe. When I first watched it in 2023, I thought it was a masterpiece, but looking back, it's pretty corny. They made Tong Yao's entire personality revolve around the fact that she's short, petite, and childish, sure she got a few moments when she was seen as hardworking, willful, and caring, but its not comparable since Lu Si Cheng was painted as a responsible, cold-hearted, and nonchalant guy who doesn't soften on anyone, giving them a "father and daughter" type of relationship. Also, the power difference between them isn't slim; they weren't fair with the personalities at all. The actors' chemistry is nonexistent; Xu Kai had better chemistry with wang yi jun.
The plot was written really nicely, just not executed in the best way. They shouldn't have written her as the first female esports player or a girl living alone with a bunch of guys; it was honestly straight out of Wattpad. The empowerment of females in male-dominated fields was refreshing to see.
The soundtrack honestly wasn't Spotify-worthy, but it went with the fluffy theme of the show.
One thing i really liked was the relationship and dynamic of the ZGDX team, everyone's reaction to Ming's retirement, them welcoming Lu Yue back, them celebrating, helping K with his family drama, singing and drinking together, and noticing the small things about each other, which honestly gave them all a sibling-like relationship.
The cinematics here didn't even try; it felt more like we were watching a short drama, still, it was a smart choice to cast Xu Kai as Lu Sicheng and Zhou Ri Yan as Ai Jia.

My favourite C-drama to date
Let me state from the outset that I'm all about romance when it comes to K/J/C-dramas and until now no one did romance better than K-dramas. (Hollywood lost the plot when it comes to romance years ago). This drama blew most other out of the water as far as I'm concerned. Until now my (limited) experience with C-dramas was a seemingly uninterested ML who acts like the FL is somehow beneath him and who shows the minimal amount of affection. Finally however we have a ML who is openly affectionate and doesn't see the FL is a nuisance.
The ML cares about the FL's feelings. emotional well being, future and career in a very obvious way. The ML doesn't play games nor does he try to be cool in front of her or the public. I'm swooning.
A lot of C-dramas make FL's who are either total klutz's or who can do no wrong. In this story the FL is hardworking and smart, but she is in no way superhuman. She makes mistakes and grows as a character (just like the ML). The ML is a bit older and he has been a leader for a while, so it makes sense that he is a bit more mature etc. However none of them are caricatures.
The side characters were also like able if a bit one dimensional (ie a fatty who only cares about food and a gym rat who is dumb...). Although I skipped much of the actual matches I didn't skip episodes even though there are 31 of them. I didn't get bored halfway through and it kept my attention with various side stories until the end.
If you like romance and can sit through 31 episodes I would give the this a try.
Will 100% re-watch this in the future.

I'm so sad cuz it has an end, if there gonna be another season IDK what we're gonna have on it, cuz it seems like the story ended, maybe they're gonna show us how they'll compete in the worldwide competition, if it's true I really really hope that they won't change the actors 😔
Lu Si Cheng&Tong Yao ♡

Gateway to Fallin in to C-drama RomCom.
Seriously, This was my gateway into the world of modern C-drama rom-coms.Great cast & chemistry and banter amongst besties, siblings and the many teams.
This is a great entrylevel Cdrama / modern rom com. Yes it is totaly watchable many times. I have rewatched it at leat 3 maybe 4 times. This is a rom/com while trying to figure life out and the exposing the pressures of online cyber fans and "real job" expectations.
Love the modern theme of egames, girl power, team equity, cyber bulling, fan loyalty, and more.

I haven't watched any drama based around e-sports before but I heard a lot of praise about this one and also it has a lower number of episodes than other c-dramas so I started to watch it and I wasn't disappointed. One thing I would love to see in the drama would be more female players. I understand that Tong Yao was supposed to be the only one in the big league but there could be others too. Also I don't really understand why e-sports should be male dominated especially when the sport has nothing to do with physical strength so most men shouldn't be at the advantage here, right?
Anyway, I loved the friendships in their squad, each of the members was unique and interesting in their own way, I especially loved Fatty, K, and Lu Mao (anyone else shipping the last two? 👀). I wasn't a big fan of the male lead but in the second half he became more bearable for me. Tong Yao was the cutest and I loved her. 🥺
My final rating for this c-drama is 9/10.

It's about E-sports.
This was my first drama, and i highly recommend it. At that time i couldnt stop watching. Its different because its about gaming and E-sports. And i really love it. I think they did a great job on making this. My favorite part is when they re together and must not reveal it to anyone. I also think they have good acting skills and that is well done. And even at some parts of the drama they show the game and the monitors. And there are some really funny moments. Overall i give this drama a 9.5 out of 10.Was this review helpful to you?
My Go to
I am completely and irrevocably in love and obsessed with this series. I have watched it so many times, I have lost count and I’m still going to keep watching it over and over again. I cannot even put into words how much I love this series. Lu Si Cheng aka Chessman and Tong Yao aka Smiling will always have my heart. God Ming also stole my heart. My one complain and honestly I was super infuriated with that scene is how Lu Si Cheng treated Tong Yao when the got back to their base after her scuffle with an opposing team member, he “punished” her to stand outside until she acknowledges her mistake, that was wrong on all levels and honestly left a very bad and sour taste in my mouth. It’s very prevalent in CDramas to make the ML treat the FL as if he is her lord and master and they even go as far as making the ML punish her like a child or threaten the FL with punishment if he feels she has aired, this troupe is absolutely ridiculous and infuriates me so badly as the FLs are grown ass women and are not the properties of these MLs, they thereby don’t need any lessons taught via punishment to them. Writers and directors need to do better on the portrayals and treatment of not just their FLs but also their female characters.
Let me tell you I have watched a whole lot of shows over the last 3years I started watching Asian shows and my top4 is still in no particular order, Falling into your smile, Word of honor, Vincenzo and Who Rules The World.
I don’t know if the feeling I was trying to portray came through enough with the above write up but I will reemphasis, I am absolutely crazy about this show with the exception of that scene stated above. Wish I could give it more than 10 stars.
Bravo cast and crew. Bravo indeed
Rewatch value is obviously 10/10 (I have rewatched so many times and will keep rewatching)
Overall 10/10
