This drama gives me mixed emotions.....
Hello!To begin with, this drama is actually pretty good regardless of the e-sports controversy and the plagiarism scandal. The chemistry between the two main leads is very good and their chemistry with the other cast members is pretty solid too. However, the storyline is kind of awkward, and sometimes the lines that the actors say are weird and irrelevant.
In addition, is it just me who gets really irritated when the Korean players speak. My goodness, it is so strange and weird. One minute the Korean player understands Chinese and is laughing along with everyone --> the next minute the Korean player needs a translator for everything Chessman and Smiling. Every time a "Korean" player appears and starts speaking, I skip the scene.
One thing I would also like to point out is the scene where Smiling meets Lu Yue for the first time, Smiling was startle because of how much Lu Yue and Chessman look alike......BUT THEY DON'T LOOK ALIKE AT ALL!! The only thing they have in common is that they are both handsome :)
I don't think I will rewatch the drama as a whole but probably would only watch clips of just Smiling and Chessman together. There were multiple times that I was going to stop watching the drama because of the weird storylines and the Korean players. However, I think what made me stay to finish the drama was the strong chemistry between Smiling and Chessman. Although Chengxiao's acting isn't the best, she really fits the role of Smiling and is so cute when she smiles. The strong love between Smiling and Chessman as well as the comradeship with the ZGDX team makes them overcome all obstacles.

THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING!!! THE LEADS HAD GREAT CHEMISTRY WHICH TRANSLATED AND SHOWED TRUE FEELINGS IN THE SHOW.... THE STORY LINE WAS GREAT AND THE CHARACTER PORTRAL WAS TRUE TO ONES FEELINGS.... I WOULD LOVE TOO SEE THEM IN ANOTHER SHOW AGAIN..... I WOULD OFF LIKE AN LONGER ENDING BUT I GUESS THAT IS TO BE EXPECTED.... THE MUSIC SELECTION WAS OKAY AND THE OVERALL SHOW WAS 100.I WOULD RECCOMEND YOU WATCH THIS IF U HAVENT BECAUSE I WILL CERTAINLY BE WATCHING IT AGAIN.. I LOVED IT ...... THE BACK DROP AND SETTING WAS APPEALING TO THE VIEWERS EYES WHICH ADDED TO THE SHOW.. ONLU COMPLAIN I WOULD LOVE OF SEEN A LITTLE MORE TROUBLE FROM THE SECOND FEMALE LEAD TOWARDS CHESSMAN AND SMILING...

Drama is good but there is no such extra-ordinary
I like this drama, simple and silent, but what I got disappointed is, like in other Chinese dramas here also the male lead is little cold to other females except for the female lead, and he chases her like she is the only girl in the whole universe while the female lead acts like he is not the only one. In maximum Chinese dramas I like the female lead characters, they are well behaved with all their male and female friends, they mingle very well with everyone but the male leads are not and don't like that kind of attitude of the female lead, like, whenever female lead interacts with other male characters the male lead appears to that place and drag her even though they were in the middle of some conversation. I think this kind of mentality doesn't suit the lead characters.Was this review helpful to you?

Before I get started with my review, it's important for me to mention that I typically don't like Chinese romcoms. I've tried to watch at least seven over the last 5 weeks, and in most cases I couldn't make it past episode 6. I fancy Chinese period and historical dramas. Chinese romcoms tend to be over the top with it's effects (e.g. slow motion) and unrealistic romantic love between the two leads. Personally, I like for there to be some realism even in fictional romcom dramas.I think the reason why this romcom is receiving such a high-rating is because it's a feel-good drama, as opposed to a drama with true meaning behind the story. If you want to imagine that there's a perfect guy out there for you, watch this drama and it'll give you hope lol.
Regarding the acting, the female lead actress (not the character) seems to act the same way in this romcom as she did in her previous drama, The Imperial Corner (a period drama). I am starting to notice that the younger Chinese actress/actors don't have versatility when it comes to acting. In this romcom she wasn't very expressive, and she looked clueless; that type of acting worked in The Imperial Corner, but not in this drama.

I tried but the actress got to my nerves
I tried but here my two reasons to drop this:1 The actress needs to take acting lessons. I felt like she didn't understand what she said, she just recited lines. I didn't feel anything positive toward her, she didn't make me want to know what the future holds for her.
2 The topic. I wanted to like the universe of the series but it didn't capture my interest. Nothing cute, funny or original to draw me in.

It could’ve been better
It is not a bad drama, I just couldn’t get into it. Not sure if it’s because I’ve read the novel, but I’ve found the webnovel more enjoyable eg the elevator scene was much more funny and adorable.But the main reason Im dropping it is because they’d changed the game. Also come on why show gameplay of Mobile game on the monitor display? At least editors could’ve removed the touch buttons to make it look more like PC version .
So Im dropped it because they decided to changed the game from LoL to some cheap knock-off version. It would’ve been understandable if the game sponsored the drama so they changed the game, but REALLY? Why show mobile gameplay recording and try to pass it as a PC game, feels really insulting when you think about it.
At least if you’re gonna make a gaming drama with PC as their platform , PLEASE make it believable.
But if you can get past that and haven’t read the novel, it should be an alright watch. PS: really Xu Kai tdramas tho

Okay drama to watch
Well the story is okay but the outcome is bit lacking, the FL is bit off as she's lacking to deliver the emotions and acting. At one point I thought tahts her character personality but with the time it gets boring with her emotions and lack of feelingless face. The ML is doing a good job but there was something offI mean the story and other stuff they did perfectly but overall its bit lacking.
It could be a beautiful story if the characters add more emotions to the drama
I mean the chemistry between ML and FL is bit cold as one of them didn't deliver the lovely dovly thing.
Overall its a good drama to watch

Aos amantes de e-sports, dedico com saudosa lembrança essa minha resenha
A proposta do dorama era tratar sobre o mundo dos e-sports e encaixar um romance no meio disso tudo. É raro (pelo menos para mim) encontrar títulos com esse tema, já que não é como se os jogos online fossem exatamente ideais para romantizar nossas ideias. Contudo, o que mais me atraiu foi a protagonista ser uma das jogadoras de destaque em uma liga avançada (o que é raro demais). Com uma proposta interessante, não foi nada difícil sentir um certo desespero para assistir ao drama.Gostei de tudo em relação a esse dorama, ele certamente entrará para os meus favoritos e, no momento, eu poderia colocá-lo em 4º lugar no pódio do meu coração. O romance não tinha um tom apressado, mas foi conduzido com uma certa demora (mas deu para ver que foi necessário, ou acabaria no erro de alguns doramas de "conheceu, se apaixonou e em poucos dias estão namorando". Mesmo o casal secundário era muito fofo. Se eu posso dizer algo sobre o romance, é que ele é extremamente fofo. Fofo. Fofo. Fofo. Isso já deixa claro que, se você gosta de romances mais intensos e emocionantes, esse dorama não é assim.
Ele me lembrou Love O2O em muitos aspectos, como a segurança um no outro. O casal não precisa ficar terminando relacionamento para se fortalecerem e não tem muitos joguinhos com personagens que estão ali só para atrapalhar o romance. Pelo contrário: dá até mesmo para se apaixonar por personagens que gostam da nossa protagonista. Eu amei porque isso deu uma consistência ao romance deles, pareceu que eles estavam realmente decididos a ficarem juntos independentemente do que houvesse e dava para acreditar no que eles diziam.
A trilha sonora é boa, não tenho comentários para dizer porque não tinha uma música que tivesse me apaixonado de verdade, mas também senti que tudo se encaixou muito bem. Todos os personagens ali têm uma importância e não se limitam a "preencher tabela". Confesso que gostaria de saber mais sobre o protagonista masculino, mas isso não me trouxe muitos problemas.
Ok, acho que o que eu mais tenho a elogiar é a produção e a atuação do protagonista (não a garota, mas o rapaz que conquistou meu coração). O cenário estava perfeito, eu realmente senti que tinha voltado a minha fase de espectadora de campeonatos de jogos MOBA. Roupas perfeitas, cenário perfeito e até mesmo os efeitos especiais dentro do jogo estavam muito bons. Era surreal, eu senti que era um dorama muito bem colocado no mundo dos jogos (em especial, o League of Legends. Se você for procurar as semelhanças, o jogo estava igualzinho ao que era apresentado na série). Os beijos não eram aqueles bem ruins que você vê por aí, a atuação deles era ótima e até a mudança de idioma era boa (eles falavam coreano e chinês), O foco do dorama era mostrar principalmente os E-sportes e eu senti exatamente isso. Todos os principais problemas que os jogadores profissionais passam constantemente foram retratados de uma maneira que eu julguei muito tocante e emocionante. Não apenas isso: o romance, apesar de importante, não foi o foco principal do programa. Eles queriam uma evolução dos personagens e conseguiram fazer isso muito bem, não se perderam no meio do caminho.
Para quem ama e-sports (em principal, as ligas do League of Legends), vai certamente se apaixonar por um dorama tão fofo e bem feito. Eu realmente amei toda a produção e aquela atuação do nosso eterno Lu Sicheng.
Obs: Para não falar que ele é perfeito, tenho que admitir que a protagonista só sabia fazer a mesma cara para tudo. Era quase como se ela não tivesse expressão de vez em quando, sabe? Me irritou muito isso, mas não foram todas as cenas que eram assim e, como já dito antes, os beijos eram bons então ela sabia fazer o trabalho bem. Poderia ser melhor, mas já está bom.

E-sports doce
Um ótimo drama de e-sports que abordou assuntos reais da vida de alguém que joga não só por prazer mas como profissionalmente, e as questões como jogadoras femeninas que é um assunto muito polêmico entre jogadores masculinos, que ainda hoje há preconceitos em relação as mulheres ( que na minha opinião é ridícula) e as famosas polêmicas com fofoca e vários haters.O romance bem fofo do começo ao fim do jeitinho que um dorameiro gosta!!!! hahaha amo de mais os trabalhos do xu kai e da cheng xiao então esse dorama foi ótimo com a presença desses dois, fora os personagens secundários que foram perfeitos e engraçados

Muito fofo
Fiquei completamente viciada e terminei tudo em três dias. Foi maravilhoso, valeu cada segundo!Os primeiros 20 episódios parecem melhores do que os últimos 11, parece que eles se perdem no pacing um pouco. Se tivesse mais uns 5 episódios talvez seria melhor.
Xu Kai carrega esse drama nas costas (mas o elenco principal todo é maravilhoso, inclusive queria mais).
Não gostei muito da trilha sonora pq achei meio repetitiva, mas acho que estou aprendendo que parece ser o padrão kk E também as animações do jogo, confesso que depois do episódio 15 comecei a pular sempre que apareciam.

Gran química y una linda historia
Me encanto , es mi dorama favorito . Simplemente te atrapa desde el primer cap tomando muy aparte la química muy linda y romántica que tienen los personajes principales a fuera y dentro de sus papeles , No faltarán risas y momentos super dulces y obviamente sus tiempos de caídas porq nada es fácil pero en si dale una sola , Una sola oportunidad y falling into your smile , Sus 2 personajes principales tan lindos y su elenco tan alegre y chistoso .
