Not for cat lovers!
Dropped because I can't stand the way cats are being treated in this drama. Being shaken, obviously drugged... By the time it happened by the third time, I couldn't take it anymore.Story wise it's not bad, but not special either. I wouldn't recommend it. The ML seem to fall in love for seemingly no reason other than the one time FL showed him kindness in a moment of need. Most of the time, he's not a likeable guy. Capable, yes, but he's mean and cold to people who don't matter to him, including the FL in the beginning. So I didn't exactly warm up to his character, before I dropped it due to the cat being mistreated in this drama.
I wouldn't recommend it. There are better ones out there.

great acting
its the first time i cried at the first 3 episodes especially at the inspirational words said by the female lead i usually skip things like that but this is an exception i was touched by the great acting of the actress this drama is great for me it will totally wreck my best drama list and i was hooked at the drama by the first 3 episodes.. i was only watching this because its a romcom but i dont think its simply a romcom because its really inspirational and the female lead starts at 0 when she was betrayed by her friend. i love watching this i hope the storyline becomes greater as time passes.Was this review helpful to you?
It's Exciting!!
Didn't expect that this Chinese drama will make me cry on its first episodes. It's a sweet romantic comedy type of show so I thought I would be laughing most of the time. Insane! Been in love already with it after hearing first its OST, "A Warm" by Liú Rén Yǔ, plus knowing that the amazing Eleanor Lee is the one portraying the main lead, I'm done. Her character is so inspiring, I really love her. Looking forward for her more extraordinary encounters with Leon Leong's character, and her breakthrough after sudden downfall with her so-called friend and family/company. Intermezzo leggero e grazioso per un mood positivo...
Drama carino, piuttosto semplice e disimpegnato. La trama è scontata, anche banale, con tutti i cliché che si possono mettere in conto e dove gli ostacoli insormontabili non sono, a conti fatti, chissà che cosa. Le motivazioni dietro alcune scelte - anche importanti - sono decisamente discutibili, questo va sottolineato fin da subito.La vicenda è al servizio del romance, la storia in sè viene praticamente costruita attorno ai protagonisti. C'è una superficiale tendenza a rompere e ricucire rapporti come se niente fosse, con tutti i risvolti che seguono e che sembrano davvero molto lontani dalla vita reale. Pur non essendo nulla di nuovo e nonostante qualitativamente sia semplicemente nella media, vanta comunque alcune scelte azzeccate. In primis la caratterizzazione della protagonista, dove piace l'idea di questa ragazza che pur vedendo il suo sogno infrangersi si rimbocca le maniche e riparte da zero, senza mollare nonostante i prevedibili momento di sconforto e sfiducia. Lui è un ragazzo interessante, di poco più giovane di lei (aspetto che caratterizza anche il pairing secondario), inizialmente poco espansivo e dotato di super memoria - sindrome nota come ipertimesia - che da una parte lo rende affascinante e intrigante ma che dall'altra prevede un costo non indifferente.
Le interazioni tra i due sono graziose, le scene romantiche non perfette ma apprezzabili (baci a stampo con occhi a palla bocciati, però), e mi è piaciuto molto il fatto che l'estetica non sia stata messa al primo posto: specialmente per quanto riguarda la protagonista, le due altre figure femminile che l'accompagnano - amica ed ex amica - sono indubbiamente più "belle", secondo i normali canoni, eppure lei resta la scelta più adatta per il ruolo da protagonista, per come è stato pensato. Un valore aggiunto che non capita di trovare molto spesso (i protagonisti solitamente sono in termini di bellezza in cima al resto del cast).
Pairing secondario avviato un po' in sordina, ma viene poi sviluppato in modo interessante, per cui spunta positiva anche per lui. Un po' fiacchi gli antagonisti/rivali in amore. Finale all'insegna della banalità con tutti a tavola.... non aggiungo altro per non spoilerare.
Tirando le somme, è un grazioso e piacevole intermezzo (non nel senso negativo del termine...a volte una visione leggera è quello che ci vuole, non si può vivere solo di drama profondi e impegnativi, nemmeno fossero tutti pietre miliari).

La seconda coppia anche se inizialmente non mi è piaciuta, c'è stato un momento di crisi in cui ho saputo apprezzare come questo li abbia cambiati e dove sono finiti. Per i "terzi incomodi" sono felice invece che non siano finiti esplicitamente come altri drama di questa specie.
Nel complesso il drama tra alti e bassi mi è piaciuto, più nella prima parte che nella seconda, ma cmq merita una possibilità, soprattutto per FL. Non capisco tutte quelle recensioni che parlano di questo amore come un qualcosa di tossico. Personalmente non ho avvertito alcuna red flag.

C-dramma carino e divertente!
Un dramma romantico carino e divertente.Racconta una storia d'amore semplice ma anche carina di una rivincita di una idol che non ce l'ha fatta ma nonostante le difficoltà ce l'ha farà e che nel suo percorso incontrerà un amore inizialmente un po' burrascoso ma che nonostante tutto diventerà fantastico.
Protagonisti belli e bravi con una bella complicità.
Consiglio la visione per un bel passatempo e una piacevole pausa da dramma più impegnativi.
