Chu Chu and Jin Yu are trapped in the cave while pursuing Governor Li. They use the moment alone to clarify their feelings for one another. Timing is of the essence as the explosion has made the entire cave unstable. General Peng has received Leng Yue’s letter and is trying to make sense of it. On the way back to Chang’an, Minister Xue is unexpectedly attacked.

Chu Chu and the Prince finally admit they like each other!! (I wonder how Chu He is going to take this,,) There's also some tea between Jing Yi and Leng Yue. They treated it as actual adults and no misunderstandings or anything, and they got right to the point. Arguably one of the best episodes in this series. The characters aren't all helpless and even the female leads use their brain in sticky situations.
