Vatican might be shocked
Priest this handsome wearing earrings and love k-Pop and K-drama who can fight demons aside from performing exorcism at a very young age surely have a charming twist for the character. Just from this it is telling the audience it is a fantasy series so don’t get hung up with the religious aspect details.There’s 6 episodes for this season and it’s jammed packed minus the awakening of female lead’s power.
Given that there some scenes that they spent too much time on, it is still unbelievable how creative the Director of this series to be able to provide all important details in the first short season.
Artists casts harmoniously brought life to the characters.
Production is good but could be better: wardrobe obviously didn’t synch in one scene timeline but other than that it was good.
Will look forward to next season that will clarify the lead females core role.

Recommended drama
Recommended drama!Even the genre is horror, but this drama is great to be watched. Not as scary as "annabel" movie .
There are some funny scenes. The story is exciting but not too complicated. The cinematography is good. We can enjoy jeju island (actually this drama make me want to visit Jeju Island ).
The acting of all casts are great, include the children cast. Their acting are so natural. I really enjoy their acting.
it would be good if they just got all the episodes out right away
Cant wait for next episodes. I hope they will make longer duration and add more episodes, at least there is special episode.

What more can you ask for?
I strongly recommend people to watch Island. It has everything a drama enthusiast is looking for. The story is great. The cast is superb. The cinematography is amazing. The special effects are world-class. The music is thrilling. Even the OBB is captivating! Really, you can't ask for more!Do you want drama? Drama is in the bag in future episodes.
Suspense? Horror? It will make you hold on to your seat, but worry less, it is not so gross if that isn't your cup of tea.
Comedy? The 3 lead actors KNG, LDH and CEW are showing their comedic bones. The banter between Kim Nam-gil and Lee Da-hee will make you smile. And the youngest hip exorcist priest Father Yohan played by Cha Eun-woo will make you want to be exorcised too. His character here is soon different from the tsundere characters he had before.
I am very much looking forward to future episodes.

Worth watching!
Interesting plot, respectable CGI, nice chemistry among the actors/characters, and great acting with special mention to hip exorcist Priest Yohan played by Cha Eunwoo. Looking forward to the next episodes, to see more of Priest Yohan especially, with his light and amusing scenes where we would get to know his bright side, drama scenes where we would find out his character's dark background, and of course the action-packed moments including more exorcism scenes perhaps. His interaction with the other characters, like Van, Miho and perhaps Gungtan, will also be interesting to see. So excited for the next episodes is an understatement.Was this review helpful to you?
Watched for Lee Da Hee
Lee Da Hee and Kim Nam Gil are great actors, KNG especially. Watched this because I was bored and the synopsis sounded interesting.Story
Nothing great or amazing. Entertaining enough but even at episode 4, I feel like I still have many questions. I think this one is more about the action................ though it's not super action-packed either. Meh.
Acting
As mentioned LDH and KNG are there haha. Side characters are familiar faces soooo great. I have to say though, Cha Eun Woo's acting improved HAHA. At least he's showing more natural expressions........

I like the intro! OSTs are appropriate.

Take out Cha Eun Woo please.....awkward acting....
Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee and Sung Joon are amazing.I just want to see more of Kim Nam Gil for every episode. He is beyond charismatic and awesome. He is the real actor with real substance. Having Cha Eun Woo around is like so annoying. I mean do we really need his character? I believe if his part is completely scrapped off, the whole drama would still function well. I get it. The director need his face to boost ratings.
If not for Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee and Sung Joon, i won't even watch it. Having a priest in this fantasy show is just OFF. Thankfully i can fast forward all Cha Eun Woo's part.

Uma história interessante, um pouco parecida com alguns outros dramas, mas conseguiram mostrar de uma forma nova. A personagem feminina é maravilhosa, o meio demônio Van conseguiu me conquistar mesmo ele sendo daquele jeito, e o padre Johan que sem dúvidas ganhou meu coração. Cha Eun Woo me surpreendeu, mostrou que não tem apenas um rostinho bonito mas atua super bem. Esperando ansiosa para a parte 2.Was this review helpful to you?

Bon... J'ai lu un peu les commentaires APRES avoir fini les 6 épisodes. Je peux comprendre certains point de vue, l'histoire n'a rien d'originale, pour ceux qui ont vu Bulgasal, on reconnait l'inspiration. Je n'ai pas trouvé ça mauvais, parce qu'il ya trop peu de réponses à la fin de la partie 1 ( en même temps pourquoi 2 parties ?). Les jeux d'acteurs sont plutôt bons. J'espère que le personnage de Van va s'ouvrir un peu plus, et que au contraire le personnage de Johan va s'assombrir. Les réactions de Van sont plutôt prévisibles, c'est mon point neg.Le fx est bien, j'aime beaucoup le générique de début, le combo musique-fx-mood.
Pour ma part j'ai accroché, pour la partie 2 je suis curieuse de savoir ce qu'ils vont en faire !
Well... I read a few comments AFTER having finished the 6 ep. I can understand some POV, the story is not original, for those who have seen Bulgasal, we recognize the inspiration. But i didn't find it bad, because there are too few answers at the end of season 1 ( btw why in 2 parts?). The acting is pretty good. I hope that the character of Van will open up a little more, and the character of Johan will darken. Neg point = Van's reactions are predictables.
The fx is good, I really like the opening credits, the music-fx-mood combo : Noice !
For me... I am curious to know what they will do with the second part !

Grandes escenarios en un contenido vacío.
En pocas palabras: una serie mala, no creo que entra en el término mediocre porque hay más elementos negativos que positivos. Las interpretaciones son correctas aunque me hubiera gustado que el personaje de Van, fuera un poco más humano, y no pareciera un robot sin sentimientos. La igual lo que haga siempre tiene la misma expresión de aburrimiento. Su enemigo, que se supone que no tiene sentimientos humanos, tiene mucho más desarrrollo emocional que Van, y eso dice mucho. No me gustó el personaje de Won Mi Ho, o es la típica miñata rica que piensa que puede hacer lo que quiera que para eso tiene millones o es la sacerdotista con el espíritu de un flan. El padre JOhan es un joven exorcista que pero que al final parece ser otra cosa. Debe ser como Popeye que cuando comía espinacas le daban super fuerza, en su caso será la fé cristiana. O el pendiente. No lo tengo claro. No sé, otro personaje que tiene un desarrollo nada coherente.La historia es mala. Hay muchas cosas que no tiene sentido. Hay diálogos que dan hasta un poco de vergüenza.
Lo único que podría salvar es al Padre Johan, que al menos alegra la vista. Y no puedo olvidar la fotografía, La serie tiene unos escenarios maravillosos, te dan ganas de visitar la isla.

Deus me perdoe...
O drama é bem interessante, prende a atenção e foi o meu primeiro mais sobrenatural assim, então confesso que demorei muitoooo além do normal para assistir pelo simples fato de até ter confiança, tive que assistir acompanhada kkkkkkkkkMas logo após, já assisti o Island 2, confesso que não entendi o porque de terem dado uma pausa no sexto episódio, mas como vi bem depois de ter sido lançado, consegui maratonar a segunda parte em um final de semana.
Mas agora pulando para o que todo mundo suspirou né, Deus me perdoe, mas eu nunca suspirei tanto por um padre antes...
Apesar de eu achar que a atuação do Cha Eun-Woo neste drama ter sido uma das mais fracas, dei bastante risada com o jeito diferente dele em ser padre.

Esse dorama me conquistou do início ao fim. A história foi envolvente, com personagens que conseguem transmitir emoção de uma forma muito verdadeira. Os conflitos foram bem trabalhados, sem ficar arrastados ou forçados, mantendo o ritmo e o interesse até o final.A produção em si também merece destaque: trilha sonora marcante, atuações convincentes e uma direção que soube equilibrar drama, emoção e momentos leves. É aquele tipo de dorama que deixa uma sensação boa quando termina e que eu facilmente reassistiria.
No geral, recomendo para quem gosta de uma boa história com personagens cativantes e um desenvolvimento sólido.

«Island» est un drama mélangeant action, fantastique, surnaturel, mystère et drame. Avec des personnages très intéressants, drôles et attachants, des acteurs talentueux et une histoire prenante, rien ne manque à ce drama, si ce n’est plus d’épisodes ! Le trio principal a été un plaisir à voir, les liens qui s’établissent entre chacun d’eux, chacune de leurs histoires qui sont explorées légèrement, et bien sûr, la romance légère qui est également présente entre deux d’entre eux. Ce n’est pas parfait, l’histoire aurait largement mérité plus d’épisodes, vu tout le contenu à explorer, et celui qui aurait pu l’être, mais j’ai vraiment adoré !
