A River Runs through It Episode 17

Xiaoju is still upset about Cheng Lang and Lin You. Tao Tao consoles her, telling her that someone better was waiting for her. Xiaoju's father visits her to lend her some money, but she gives it back, despite not having much left. Her part-time employer doesn't give her the salary earlier as it was against the rules. At the campus, Huang Jun manages to obtain a messy classroom for his band practice and he spends the rest of the time cleaning the room up along with Tao Tao while Shiyi slips off to visit Xiaoju at the store. He helps her out and she promises to help him with his basketball practice as a thank you gesture. Lin You invites her out for dinner and Xiaoju learns that her boyfriend was Yuan Ancheng. Through a coincidence, Cheng Lang and Shiyi end up eating dinner with them. Cheng Lang is distressed and gets drunk, after which he reveals to Xiaoju and Shiyi that Lin You had turned him down.
