A River Runs through It Episode 18

Xiaoju is unhappy for Cheng Lang and Tao Tao asks her to take this opportunity to comfort him and gain his feelings. She decides to write a letter under the pen name 'Mango Pudding', and Cheng Lang initially doesn't open it. He is even more upset after Lin You decides to quit a project they were working on together and tries to distance herself from him. He works overnight on the project alone and is out of form during his basketball practice. Xiaoju notices this. While helping Lu Shiyi with his training, she accidentally throws a ball right at his face, distracted. Shiyi gets a nosebleed and shows signs of dizziness. Xiaoju apologizes to him and he takes her out to eat. He orders extra food and packs them up for her. Cheng Lang finally replies to her letters. Shiyi pulls a few strings with the owner of the store where Xiaoju works to advance her salary. While watching the boys training for basketball, she finds out that Cheng Lang had used a huskey keychain that she had sent to him through a letter. Elated, she is lively while helping Shiyi train.
