A River Runs Through It Episode 22

Tao Tao declines Huang Jun's request to hang out as she had homework. He is disgruntled about it and she asks him to accompany her while she is doing it to comfort him. Shi Yi is angry with Xiao Ju and refuses to talk to her, but explains the situation with the red pen and Shen Duo. Xiao Ju asks him out for hotpot as a treat, but he mistakenly believes that she had invited him for Shen Duo and stands her up. Tao Tao asks Huang Jun to leave the library as he kept laughing and distracting everyone. He goes to practice in the band room, but meets Xu Meng Lu, who tricks him into seeing a movie together. He hides this from Tao Tao, doesn't pick up her calls and lies about playing cards at his bandmate Mu's room. But, Tao Tao finds the movie tickets. After seeing Shen Duo at the library, Shi Yi runs to Xiao Ju, who had been waiting for him for a long time, and apologizes to her and decides to get the food as a treat. Seeing that she likes it, he tells her that he could treat her again the next day, but she refuses as she was going to watch a movie with the one she likes'. He is upset that he was back to square one again and tells this to Huang Jun, who he thinks is acting guilty. Lin You skips classes as she was upset about her breakup with Yuan An Cheng and Cheng Lang finds her intensely practicing at the dance room. He comforts her and doesn't go to meet Xiao Ju for the movie. Shi Yi, who had followed Xiao Ju to find out the mysterious person's identity, tells her that she was a fool and tries to get her to leave as the movie had already finished. She storms off to find Cheng Lang and is deeply disappointed by hearing that Lin You's business had kept him from coming. Lu Shi Yi, who was with Xiao Ju, is heartbroken to learn that the one she likes is Cheng Lang. He is furious and fiercely plays basketball, hurting Cheng Lang in the process. Huang Jun notices this.
