Xiao Ju and Cheng Lang skirt around the truth and manage to deceive him, but he still feels that both of them are hiding a secret. Tao Tao sees Huang Jun waiting for her near her home and they have an emotional reconciliation. Xiao Ju lies that she was off to stay at Tao Tao's home for 2 days in order to have a short trip to a nearby village for an essay that she had to write for transferring her major. Shi Yi joins her and they spend their time together wonderfully. Xiao Ju begins to understand that Shi Yi was reliable and made her feel at ease. Cheng Lang and Lin You meet up with the gang to discuss his upcoming contest. They help them both win. Cheng Lang divides the prize money equally among all. Xiao Ju offers to buy Shi Yi snacks as a thank you for his help and support. Her mother finds her essay and transfer papers, leading to an argument where her mother attempts to dissuade her as they lacked money.
