A River Runs through It Episode 26

Lin You gives her prize money to her mom. Xiao Ju's father learns of the fight between her and her mom. He goes to her room and explains their financial situation. Xiao Ju decides not to transfer majors, but her mom gets her the remaining money to do it. Xiao Ju is touched and promises to study hard. On 1st September, 1999, the results of the transfer exams were out and Xiao Ju successfully was able to transfer to her desired department. Shiyi celebrates her success with her. The new year comes closer and Cheng Lang decides to confess his feelings to Lin You by decorating a scenic hilltop and watching the fireworks with her. He gets Shi Yi and Xiao Ju for help. Xiao Ju helps out, despite being sad and gets a flip phone while coming back. Shi Yi goes to get a gift for Xiao Ju. At her dorm room, she sees Tao Tao writing notes for Huang Jun, who was busy practicing with his band. She wakes up with a fever and is admitted to the hospital. Huang Jun doesn't pick up Xiao Ju's calls, but she unexpectedly runs into him at the hospital. He visits Tao Tao. Xiao Ju discusses her New Year plans with Shi Yi and her roommates Gui Xiao Ling and Huang Chang. They meet Chang Le, Xiao Ju's new class monitor and the idol of their department. Shi Yi takes an instant dislike to him. They see a heartbroken Tao Tao walking alone and finds out that Huang Jun had come to the hospital to visit Xu Meng Lu and not her. All of her friends are enraged, but Shi Yi calms Xiao Ju down. Cheng Lang, who had accidentally fallen asleep, hurries over to ask whether they had seen Lin You. The three of them search for her.
