A River Runs Through It Episode 27

Cheng Lang panics that Lin You might be upset as he had fallen asleep while she was making him listen to her favorite CD. His worries are needless after she turns up as promised and they finally acknowledge their feelings towards each other, despite being late to watch the new year's fireworks at the decorated hilltop. Huang Jun visits Le Tao to celebrate it, but she breaks up with him. Both of them spend the night with tears and regrets. Shi Yi prepares to confess, but withholds it after seeing Xiao Ju crying about her longing for Cheng Lang and deciding to end her feelings once and for all. He takes her to the decorated hill and wishes her a new year, comforting her. May 4, 2002 - Xiao Ju, who is about to graduate, is on her first trip as a tour guide. She narrates how Cheng Lang, Lin You, Shi Yi and herself were like rivers that never turned back, thinking to herself that they might have encountered different forms of happiness if they had done so. Her classmate Chang Le helps her reach her destination faster. Lu Shi Yi joins in for the tour, telling her that he wouldn't want to miss the opportunity. He helps her with the tour and even stays back late with her to search for two people who had gone missing. Xiao Ju gets a call informing her that they had safely returned by themselves after getting lost. She is relieved and thanks Shi Yi, voicing out that he had become mature, more understanding and sweeter. He in turn tells her that she had become more confident and brave. When she tells him that she finally understood why so many girls liked him, he is dismissive about it as the one he liked never took a glance at him. She asks him who it was. (Source: kisskh)
