Episode Title: Brotherhood.
Jin Bu explains that it was better to be sad now instead of waiting for the final moment. Duan Xiao refuses to give up on their relationship and tells her that he'd follow her wherever she goes.
Da Fan, Chen Jun He's roommate and new friend, tries to teach him the ropes regarding girls. He asks him to write a love letter and Jun He discusses this with Xiao.
At the girls' dormitory, Zhang Wan Wan persuades the rest of her dorm mates to join the Drama Club which is in fact a disguise to get closer to her crush. The girls discover that he was the President of the Club - Fang Jing Han, who Jin Bu and Qing Tong had met earlier.
Chen Jun He tries to implement his plan of showing acts of kindness to her, but somehow manages to accidentally ruin them.
Duan Xiao is unable to deliver the love letter to a cold Li Jin Bu and Da Fan decides to do it for him. The letter is sent to Jin Bu's room but is picked up by her roommate who writes to pen pals.
Jun He manages to get into the Drama Club. When Jin Bu is picked as the lead, she goes to talk about switching it with Jing Han and they end up discussing a time travel script. Duan Xiao sees this and confronts Jin Bu at the front of her dorm. He makes his feelings clear to her once again and wonders why she wants to give up when they both like each other.
The next day, he sees her receive a bouquet of flowers from Jing Han and leaves in a fit of rage, telling Jun He that he wouldn't go there again unaware that it was a misunderstanding.
Later, Jun He, who was cast as an antagonist in the play, delivers the lines different from the script during rehearsal but reveals his feeling to Tong in the process. She invites him to buy the costumes for the play and goes with him to the city, loosening her prejudice against him.
Jin Bu is annoyed and upset that Xiao kept his word and hadn't even met up with the gang when they'd gone back home. Meanwhile, he and Jun He discuss their troubles together and he encourages him to confess to Tong.
Da Fan arranges a spot for him to do it.
