Sweet and Light Drama
I watched this drama after asking recommendations for happy, carefree, no-love-triangle, no-over-5-episodes-misunderstanding drama.. So, basically, it's it..The story is kinda cliche, I guess.. It's sweet and cute from the beginning.. Some of the scenes were cringe-worthy (just to prove how sweet it is).. The relationship development of the couples were logical in one side, but somehow too rush in the others.
Plot wise.. even though it was cliche, but the plot was interesting.. The casts did well to deliver the characters.. and I guess they were suitable for the roles. The ML's personality was actually interesting, but character development was too rush in some aspects, in my opinion. He was supposed to be smart, and he looked smart most of the time, but there was some scenes that made me think that he was kinda foolish. The FL's personality was good, but I think it was kinda inconsistent in some aspects. I didn't feel anything with both leads' character.. On the other hand, I was really annoyed with the villain in this drama, so I guess she was successful to make me feel something..
It is fun drama to watch.. But somehow, it failed to hold my attention for a long time.. It didn't make me "binge-watch".. What I meant was that I didn't mind to pause and do something else while watching this drama.. When I usually "binge-watch", it was always hard for me to pause and do anything else until I finish watching the episodes. This drama failed to make me "binge-watch" it. It wasn't boring per say.. But, I guess it was too light or kinda slow for me.. Well, I did ask for a light drama.. But, somehow it lacked something to keep my attention and it didn't make me too giddy.. Although, I did finish watching it in 1 day.. So, it's not bad..
After finishing the drama, I wasn't that interested to re-watch it.. Maybe after some time, I don't mind to watch it again.. so, now that I'm done with the last episode, I'm ready to move on and find another drama.. If a drama can hold my interest for a long time, I usually re-watched them again (for the interesting episodes) right after I finished watching the last episode.. and this drama somehow failed to make me do that..
Overall, this drama is not bad. And it's fun to watch it when you're in the mood for something light and stress-free. However, for me it lacks something that makes me feel anything..

Love wasn't that intense but kissing scenes were. Hehe.There were a lot of ridiculous and unrealistic scenes. And first few episodes will make you wanna drop the series. BUT Ryan Ding's visual will make you stay. (Or maybe just in my case. ;-))
Both ML and FL are so good looking. And they were so so cute and so so sweet. I almost had tooth decay. :D
The plot has great potential. Could have been better. ML is so perfect. A rich handsome Doctor who can cook and is a good kisser. I want him for me. Hahaha.
I also love that there is no overly dramatic heartbreaks. Just two sweet and understanding leads.
I really really hated Dr. Zhou's little sister. She is so annoying at first though it got better. But still hated her childish tricks.
Things I still find confusing after watching:
- IDK what I missed but ML and FL just suddenly got lovey dovey. Like, hello, they haven't really had their moments.
- FL was too kind. I mean, she's too kind handling Zitong. Zitong did her dirty and yet she still almost beg her to be friends with her. WTH.
- Sudden love story between Jiawei and Su ying. I know Su ying likes Jiawei but Jiawei just magically like Su ying. I know they had some of their moments but it was just too sudden. They could have build up their relationship more.
Anyway, if you can bear with the first few episodes. Please watch it. It's good for killing time. FL and ML are also so cute and sweet so it's worthy.

Story- The story is all about the two families who gather themselves to arrange their children engagement but they didn't show up. But when they met in the hospital after an accident of the FL and then she get to know that her incharge doctor was her fiancee. After that she desided to chase after the doctor (ML) and take the revenge because he didn't show up on the family meeting but they ended up with true lovers.
Things I liked- I like the chemistry between the doctor and the actress . And most important thing is they both are rich not like other dramas where the ML lead is rich and the FL is poor. I am fed of watching these type of drama and good to see this Drama. I also like the chemistry between WU DI (WU YANG) and DR. XIAO YUAN SONG (JULIO WAN YAN) . The ML was so supportive. And the most entertaining character was DR. XIAO YUAN SONG ( JULIO WAN YAN) . I found his character same as he was in the Drama THE LOVE EQUATION but still I liked it so much.
Things I don't like- They didn't tell much more about the past of the ML & FL. Also they didn't tell much about the past of WU DI. There's no need to show the chemistry between the sister of ML i.e. ZHOU SU YING ( LIN XIN YI) and the actor or the collegue of FL i.e SU JIA WEI (SHI MING ZE) but if they showed than they have to show properly,they only show in the last two episodes that I feel very bad about this drama.
If you want to watch Sweet Drama with no melodrama than you may recommend this drama.

The side couples were also great together. Although I didn’t care much for Zhou Su Ying and Xu Jia Wei’s relationship because of how both characters started out.

Intense chemistry(Must Watch)
The first few episodes were a little bit fast paced but later on it becomes better with how the both main lead have their progress in their relationship. It's storyline is very romantic and light-hearted. There isn't much of a 'drama' moments but rather cheesy moments will come through.Ding and Zhang Yuxi's acting skills in this drama is very natural, both of them have great visuals. Their skin ship will give butterflies into your stomach.
PS, Behind the scenes are a must watch as well as their live interviews.

I guess this drama is okay. Not much from the plot but the premise is that the male lead who is a doctor and the female lead who is a popular actress apparently are engaged due to their families. They try to walk out of the engagement and meet each other unexpectedly when the female lead was hospitalized with her as her doctor. She's attracted and later realizes he is her fiance. It had moments, but the plot didn't really stick to me.

One of the favourite drama
I have watched the series 10 times, acting skill for main leads are awesome, season 2 is really wanted.Two eyes said everything about the character of Dr. Zhau Shi Won. He is really excellent, We fans wanted to see him As CEO main lead roll, because his acting will rock on..so please directors and drama companies please give him more romantic drama projects,we eagerly waiting for him. and main female lead also did good. And thi Xi yi couple looked good together. We want them together again in a romanic drama.

Story- as I said, finally it's not the usual rich guy-poor girl story. Although, there's a lot of cliche from this drama, you can ignore them because it is written in a very interesting way. FL and ML, both are kind hearted and they were able to clear all the misunderstanding really fast, so it saves you from tons of heartache where most drama would love to dragged misunderstanding almost until the last episodes.
Acting/casts- Haven't watched any drama of any actors in this drama, but after watching afew eps, I checked Ryan's page and saw The Romance of Tiger and Rose, so I started watching it as well (another drama that I would recommend people to watch).
Music- meh, they can do better.
Rewatch value- yup will definitely rewatch this a from time to time while waiting for another good drama.

No chemistry, No comedy, No conflict
I wanted to watch this drama after having seen clips and hearing about the kisses but 11 episodes in and I think watching paint dry would be more fun. This is labeled as "Friendship, Comedy, Romance, Life" but I didn't find any comedy here. What was supposed to be funny?Where is the conflict? Please tell me the ML's annoying little sister isn't the only conflict here. Conflict is important to push the story along and keep the viewer engaged but almost half way through and there's still no core conflict. I wanted to get hooked in but almost halfway through and that hasn't happened.
Although both leads are very good looking I felt no chemistry between them. I've seen both actors in other dramas that I did like and did see chemistry. Unfortunately, I did not see any sparks between these two here. :/

Cute/Okay
Something I noticed is when the female lead didn't "trust" the main lead everyone was coming for her, which I understand (kinda) since he has been trusting her the "whole" time, But yet he met up with the director with the intentions of helping Beibei (which meant to beibei he didn't believe in her acting abilities) but in the end decided not to, the misunderstanding was caused because he decided to meet up with the director. He should of explained himself but no instead he did nothing and (I didn't finish watching it) But ignoring that, the music was a 10/10 it's the 2nd drama out of 100's (maybe just a 100+) where i actually watch the intro! I be jammin and dancing to this song (which is in fact one of two of the only type of music I listen to) so I think the Music deserves a 10/10.Was this review helpful to you?
Intense Love is fluffy. The plot is asinine and watching the acting will make you wonder who greenlit this mess.
I stopped at episode 21 (of 24) cos my brain was melting. Watch if none of the above bother you.

The series was definitely sweet and I felt that way the writers did an amazing job showing the character development in terms of how they grew closer overtime and how they both someway grew as people in general. I loved how each character was independent but also didn’t shy away from the commitment that your parents had me for them. You will get a mixture of comedy, romance, in a little bit of action. Our leaders do have great chemistry when they finally get a little bit closer. There are no overly annoying characters in a series although there is one that is a little mischievous.
What I liked most about this series with that it was different from the usual arrange marriage series in the sense that it wasn’t so dramatic and didn’t involve tons of mystery and bickering. The main focus was the relationship and for the most part the directors continue to ensure that our main leads were the main focus. There were some supporting cast members day I got good screen time and I honestly enjoy those as well.
The one thing that I did not like about this series is the title. The series is titled “intense love” which led me to believe that I was going to watch a series that had this ultimate love, the type that you could just feel their love for each other and you are all in. Although they had great chemistry and it was sweet with a good ending I did not feel that the title matched the series. I will repeat that it was really good but there was no intense love. it was more like sweet love. To me intense is endearing, overcoming and all of that in between.
If you’re looking for a sweet romantic comedy to watch you will really enjoy this one.
