Just Two Best Friends Being Clowns1
This is such a lighthearted and comforting drama. The comedy feels so natural instead of overly exaggerated, and that’s honestly one of the things I loved most about it. The friend group was also surprisingly refreshing because they never had those unnecessary betrayals or toxic misunderstandings that usually happen in school/youth dramas just for extra conflict. Their friendship genuinely felt warm, supportive, and real.Tan Song and Huang Cheng Zi’s relationship was probably my favorite part of the entire drama. Their friendship felt incredibly realistic, especially because they grew up together. The way they constantly bicker, annoy each other, and act unserious around one another never felt forced — it just felt like two people who are way too comfortable with each other after knowing each other for years. Their chemistry worked so well because it didn’t rely on dramatic moments all the time. Even the smallest interactions between them were entertaining.
My absolute favorite scenes were definitely when they had to pretend to date because of their project. Those episodes were hilarious because neither of them could properly act romantic toward the other without breaking character or making things awkward. You could really tell they were so used to being best friends that the idea of suddenly acting like a couple felt ridiculous to them. Their reactions during those scenes made everything even funnier.
I also liked the pacing during the first half of the drama. Tan Song falling first made complete sense, and I actually appreciated that he denied his feelings at first because he genuinely couldn’t imagine crossing the line from friendship to romance. It felt realistic for someone who had known his best friend for so long. On the other hand, Huang Cheng Zi took much longer to realize her feelings, which was honestly funny because she spent most of the drama being busy falling for other people first 😭.
My only real nitpick is probably the romance pacing near the end. It took Cheng Zi more than 10 episodes to finally realize and accept her feelings for Tan Song, so when they actually got together, their dating era felt way too short compared to the buildup. I just wanted more episodes of them actually being a couple because their dynamic was so entertaining to watch.
Still, aside from that, this drama was genuinely such a fun and feel-good watch. It’s the type of drama you watch when you want something comforting, funny, and easy to get attached to. The humor landed really well, the friendships felt genuine, and the OSTs were surprisingly good too. Overall, it’s one of those dramas that leaves you smiling while watching.

We All Need Friends Like These Five!
A touching coming-of-age story about five youths who grow up in the same residential compound (which is similar to an American apartment complex for anyone who’s wondering). The group consists of three boys & two girls who share an unbreakable bond. We meet them in their high school years as they’re discovering who they are & who they want to be.With five different personalities the group is bound to clash & squabble at times, but they always have each other’s back in every situation. The boys look out for & protect the girls while the girls do the same for the boys but in different ways. They’re allowed to pick on each other, but no one else had better try or they’ll face the wrath of all five teens. Their loyalty is solid & each one knows that they’ll never have to face anything alone.
They get up to some crazy adventures due to the antics of the two main leads who often seem more like rivals than friends, which brings lots of humor to the show. And while this isn’t strictly a romance, we do get the enjoyment of witnessing these two experience the beauty of realizing they’ve fallen in love with their best friend. I would’ve loved to have seen more of them as a couple, but I also understand why we didn’t get that until the end due to their ages. It didn’t at all detract from the storyline or cause me to regret watching this.
The friendship these five share is enviable & heart warming. I enjoyed how each teen got their moment to shine, allowing us to get to know them as more than just a support character. Each one brought a necessary dynamic to the group, they weren’t complete unless all five were there. It was refreshing to see the ways they always worked through any issues rather than letting things fester. And if any of the five were at odds with each other, the rest of the group helped them resolve the issue(s) & regain the group’s harmony. It was also touching to see them rally around each other when familial stuff arose. They didn’t let their age negate their place in one another’s life or cause them to stay silent if one was being mistreated.
Being a teenager & going through high school is tough. Having a group of friends like these five who you know you can 100% trust to always be on your side is what we all wish for during those years. 🩵

a drama that is NOT really a drama
This is a "slice of life" drama that "slices" a bit too much.There is basically no horizontal plot line going on but theme based episodes with the same characters.
Our protagonists are a bunch of teenagers that navigate through life and bring us along.
It is hard to feel connected to the characters when there is basically no development or "plot" going on.
I cannot say I didn't feel any emotions because some episodes were really touching.
The one when the ml is rebuilding his relationship with his father or when the old neighbor died were really touching. I even cried.
The only dynamic that takes place on multiple episodes is the main couple love story. I found it pretty sweet and considering the nature of the drama, they did a decent enough job but there wasn't "enough" stuff shown in my opinion.
I am making it clear because if you are here for a sweeping love story, this is not the drama for you.
The other love story in the drama is shown pretty poorly. We start on early episodes with the other 2 characters getting closer to then abandon this story line for entire episodes.
I am not saying this is a bad drama, but it isn't really a drama in my opinion.
There is stuff going on but everything is disjointed.
If you like to experience cute, emotional stuff going on without a plot connecting everything together you might still enjoy "lovely us".

Must Watch Cdrama
I first got to know about this drama through a fan edit but i wasnt able to find all the eps with subs....then when i posted in here....one of them replied about this drama and its source where i can watch.It is just 16 eps filled with fun,love and frndship bonds.....by seeing it i was able to relate so many things.The love story between the main leads leads a perfects story like it doesnt fake/fantasy scenario...this couple love story can happen in real life which makes this drama realistic.
All actors have put their best work here from starting from their expression to emotions. I wanted the supporting couple would become couple at the end but it wasnt shown like that..i wanted see it. But as i said it was realistic,so for the first time i wasnt mad of them not being together....Ending is very good expect the second couple but trust me you wont feel bad rather u would wish to be them together in future...i wish it....!the last ep they have perfectly ended, it was about 5 friends and their cute normal life of their going to new faculty new classes and their own feelings depicted here perfectly!
Songs of this drama are really good...each couple have their own song but they mixed when its needed but its really really good!!!
Its A Must Watch Drama if you want to take break from heavy dramas...it will lighten your heart fill you with laughter and doing 'aww' at a certain cute scenes too. Go for it. !!!! I hope it will be worth of your time, like it was for mine!!! Hope you all enjoy it!!!

Sweet, Touching, & Cute Youth Story
I saw the high ratings for this drama here and gave it a try a few months ago and finally finished it today. The drama did not have a high budget, which you can tell from the sets and outfits, but the acting and storyline were written very nicely! I loved the character development and the key points from each episode. Some moments were cute while others were heartwarming; it was a very nice combination of topics covered. Also, I loved the new actors/actresses in this youth drama since I never saw them before. I especially love the loveline of the main couple- Tan Song and Cheng Zi. They had AMAZING CHEMISTRY and I wish that I could see more of them together. Overall, a nice sweet short watch, and I enjoyed it.SPOILERS AHEAD

2. Acting- discovered some young talent from these 5 new actors/actresses who I will be watching out for now
3. Storyline- every episode was interesting (although some more than others) and others were meaningful
4. Chemistry - Tan Song and Cheng Zi are adorable!! Would love to see them act together again in a mature romance in the workplace
Things I did not like:
1. The ending- It was concluded well but I wish we saw more of what happened to the five friends after graduation and maybe their future

One of the best youth drama/slice of life drama
This is a wonderful drama with great actors, real stories, and lots of laughs and tears.Things I liked:
1) Each episode shows character growth. I learn something from them too.
2) The characters are realistic and relatable.
3) I didn't find anyone annoying. Sometimes, a drama is ruined by the annoying characters.
4) It's not an overly long drawn out drama. There's no "dead time" or parts I want to fast forward. There aren't too many flashbacks.
5) Each actor and actress played their role so well.
6) LOVE the music. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Lovely plot ; Lovely cast
Life has endless adventures for us and having people accompany you ups and downs of your life is a real blessing. Family and friends at the end of the day we are more comfortable with familiar faces around us. Not overdone and compactly described youth, this drama is exactly the one that gives you a relaxing vibe. Of course, makes you miss the school days and makes you realize how important the one you call family, the one you call friend is; sharing of smiles and tears. Ohh the sweetness
A must watch youth comedy drama which can not be get better .. The actors did a great job of course... The story about growing up was done beautiful and not just the main cast each one of the cast done the their character beautifully... The situations about their families and friends was done so natural that it doesn't felt like i was watching a drama ... And how can i not talk about this... A really solid youth theme genre Chinese drama
May 8, 2021It has come to end for bingeing this series and I must say I am not ready to say goodbye. I did not expect this drama to be that good! I really thought this was just some fluffy youth cdramas that I will breeze through. But all the five main characters really captured my heart. I relate so much to the family, friendship, and relationship dynamics that each character has.
Tan Song and Cheng Zi's relationship is so cute and pure! I really envied them so much. Obviously, since it is a cdrama, it is not very touchy or steamy per se, but I can feel the sweet innocent romance that they have. I must say in my 18 years of living life, I have never experienced such naive and fluffy romance. So seeing this drama really made me envious.
ALTHOUGH I AM SO MAD AT JINXIAO AND CHEN ZUI'S ENDING. WHY TF THEY DID NOT END UP TOGETHER. I NEED A SPIN-OFF STORY FOR THEM CAUSE HONEY THIS AIN'T IT. I AM ACTUALLY SO SAD HOLY. THAT'S WHY I TOOK HALF A STAR BECAUSE WHO ON EARTH DID THIS. I NEED TO SPEAK AND TALK TO THE DIRECTORS AND WRITERS CAUSE THEY DID THEM DIRTY AT THE END. YOU GAVE US ALL THESE TENSIONS JUST FOR THEM TO NOT HAVE A PROPER ENDING. Their ending was so confusing and unclear, I was literally like what on earth is happening??? Did the writer became lousy at the end or what?!!!!!
As for the other story, I won't get into too many details as it will ruin the fun and suspense. But I did not expect to laugh, then cry, grieve, and experience such a roller coaster of emotion in my life!!!

cute simple story
This drama really remind me of reply series, if you like reply series it worth to watch this drama, The story is made of small moments, some hilarious, some incredibly sweet, some profound, some all of those. The Cast and acting was perfect. Everyone was so natural, i love cheng zi and tan song so much, both of them was so cute, make me want to keep them on my pocketI would highly recommend this drama to anyone who is a sucker for sweet love stories as well as people who are just looking for a drama that's not too heavy
