Old topics, modern setting
Before I watched Well-intended love from the same directors and I think it's interesting to watch how the man's and woman's role change over these dramas to the current one. Though it has certain "Secretary Kim" vibes and she's his secretary it feels like in the end it's a rather up-to-date family presented in the drama including working women or even a stay-at-home-husband. Furthermore the intimate scenes are lovely and the kisses are worth watching as well. CDrama certainly changes over time and that's a good thing in my opinion. Though conservative ideas remain of course, but well, let's be honest - we love watching them at least. Whether I'd want them for myself or not (rather not).It's impossible to deny that the drama shows overused topics such as amnesia or the female lead's denial at the beginning, but later on I felt that it improved (though the OST didn't) and I especially liked the fact that the antagonists are not unneccessarily "evil" (or remain like that) and that they spend a lot of time on lovey-dovey stuff. In fact I'm tired of these 10-minute-endings I've watched over time and here they spent a lot of time on the end. Furthermore we don't have to cope much with annoying rich parents or other similar chlichés I'm rather tired of too.
Certainly it's not a deep story, the illness makes not much sense and the story about revealing company secrets was rather obvious. But it's a cute romance worth watching for the sake of romance and even the overbearing CEO we prolly all heard of doesn't seem as bad anymore in the end. Therefore I'm glad that I watched it.

I still am patiently watching since it's a good story and the main leads are a good looking couple.
He lost his memory 5 years ago then met his girlfriend not remembering that she was his girlfriend, he fell in B love with her again.
She knew all his likes and dislikes and was suspicious that he must have known her before he lost his memories .

Fluff and Stuff
Let me address my annoyances which didn’t affect my rating too much. The acting skill between the ML and FL (who played Su E Huang in Prisoner of Beauty) was mismatched. She portrayed this role very well and was quite endearing. She was believable in the role and okayed it well in all aspects.The ML’s role was a domineering CEO with OCD and other personality quirks due to his high IQ and PTSD from childhood trauma. He couldn’t have survived in business with his abusive behavior in other countries as they claim he came from. It’s understandable that he has high standards, and his mental health issues caused him a lot of problems - but his verbal abuse and overly domineering behavior were too exaggerated. There was a lot of over-acting done on his part. His redeeming bits came through scenes where he let his emotions reach his eyes. This helped with what I found to be a rather stiff and uneducated portrayal of someone of high intelligence and a mental health issue. Of course, this could also be attributed to directing, so that may not be entirely his fault.
There was also the issue of him always going to his neurologist for advice on mental health issues. Smart man can’t differentiate between nerves and psychological issues? That arc in the story was hard to swallow.
And…one of my pet peeves in dubbed scenes is the fake breathing through the mouth. It was used a lot in this drama.
Now the review:
I found the story rather unique with the return of the amnesia after intimacy. But, they never really tied up why his mothers attempted suicide had anything to do with that. They rushed past it when he finally remembered the past he had with the FL. That was either left out, censored out or left in the cutting room floor.
Aside from the loopholes and annoyances, they story was fluffy, had a lot of funny interactions with the supporting cast (especially the other employees in the CEO’s office).
The ending episodes were also odd. All the big plans for the wedding, but she didn’t wear the dress he got her?
Also, details are important especially when the ML was a control freak and OCD. The fake flowers in the arch (the white mums near the top and the weird daisy) inserted in the white leaves and blossoms were droopy and poorly placed. It might be something I alone would notice, as I have been in stage designs for productions and been a floral designer for over 30 years. What started as a unique venue was totally ruined in my eyes by the careless placement and poor quality.
Still, it was a nice watch if you’re looking for fluff with little angst, and can switch off the part if your brain that reasons things through
Would I watch it again? Maybe. But not for a good long time.

I loved the chemistry between the main leads even tho there are some cringe parts. About the plot, I was confused cos the male lead has dissociative amnesia but it was good & everything! The world should know Zhao Zhiwei made me fall in love right then.

Sexual harassment
It is all in the headline. First half of the story is ML sexually Harassing the FL.Most of the C-Dramas with Rich Boss ML are similar, as in harassing the FL with their Power, Authority and Money.
They always try to influence FL life without their permission just because they are rich and powerful.
K-Dramas have good Boss and Employee relationships (98.5% of the K-Dramas, obviously not all of them) Even the remaining 1.5% K-Dramas do not go beyond simple harassment (like Cat and Mouse fights)
At least other C-Dramas are limited in their sexual harassment of FL, this drama is full on Sexual Harassment of FL ( Even when she repeatedly tries to keep distance from ML)
These type of Dramas, even after FL falls for ML, it seems like Stockholm syndrome or Suspension effect - NOT LOVE
C-Dramas need to show respect for the FL characters and their stories.
What is the use of a Talented, beautiful and confident FL, if she is always tripped by the ML for no reason whatsoever.
Why does the ML always have the upper hand (just because he is rich and is boss) ?
ML can be arrogant of his handsomeness, but not too arrogant as to sexual harasses the women.
These type of dramas propagate the idea that anything done by rich and handsome man is OK, when it is NOT
If the things done by ML is done by some poor and not-so-handsome guy, he will be beaten and brought to the police or in the least see him as a pervert.
People argue that ML does not do such things to everyone, just the FL because he loves her. To them I say, if FL does not say it is OK (Out of love & not coercion), it is SEXUAL HAASSMENT especially when she is trying to flee from him.
ML asks FL to be his girlfriend to lend money.(Scumbag)
Hardest 8 episodes to get through, even then not satisfactory

Waste of Talent
I dropped this at episode 7. The storytelling is so jumpy and slow. It's so confusing like there's so many "Why". Such a waste of talent when ML and FL are doing their jobs so well in acting but the story given to them is a crap! The writers doesn’t seem to be sure how they really want to portray the male lead, if he will be a dominating CEO or a dumb one.I watched Eden Zhao in Le Coup de Foudre as second ML and I really wanted to see more of him, didn't expect to be disappointed to see him as main role in this lousy story!
I can’t bear anymore, I will drop this for Begin Again. I hope it has a better storyline than this one!

Romance classique entre cold-CEO & assistante, mais très bien jouée !
Rien de bien nouveau sous le soleil avec cette storyline : un CEO très cold, avec TOC et gros traumas, rencontre une assistante, parfaire workwoman, qui accroche son attention. Il va se rapprocher d'elle et comprendre peu à peu pourquoi elle l'attire.Très classique : lovers avant amnésie :) :)
Je partage l'ironie du commentaire précédent : l'état physique des asiatiques, si on en juge par les dramas, est différent du reste du monde, car certains phénomènes sont d'une fréquence incroyable, tels que les comas, les amnésies, l’endométriose et les états grippaux dès qu'on prend la pluie....
Trêve de sarcasmes, hors de cette storyline trop usée, le drama est agréable, feel-good et très bien incarné par des acteurs talentueux.
A regarder pour se distraire, passer un bon moment (à condition d'être indulgent avec le scriptwriter).

Not as good as WWWSK but better than i expect
There must be some brain issues with many Asians. So many people with amnesia!The couple is cute. The base story is not very interesting. I think they could skip those nonsense amnesia problems and deliver a nice, shorter and warm romantic drama.
Secretary Nie is an amazing woman, beautiful, competent and sweet.
Yan Jing is a kick-ass boss, competent and very demanding.
They like each other, but he forgets her when he surpasses his threshold of love!
They keep fighting their problems. First, he chases her and she runs. Then the opposite… Love boomerang.
Interesting moments with Nie’s parents and Yan’s mother.
Some funny office moments. Nice working partners…
Blablabla…
They have good chemistry.
The second couple is some kind of sweet (Zhao Yuan and Zhen Nian).
The third couple is boring for me (Han Zi and Tong Xin)
Can’t take my thoughts of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, a way better drama than this. Here, Yan Jing changes completely in the end and it is strange to see that.
ACTING – I thought that most of the acting was good.
OST / MUSIC – well used in the drama. A couple of good songs.
REWATCH – I have more things to watch and, honestly, I prefer rewatch another time WWWSK. Here, maybe some scenes…
OVERALL – too long, did not enjoy the back and forth of the amnesia. But I enjoy some moments and some stories within the story.

Il tutto ruota attorno al fatto che sti due sono stati insieme in passato e lui non si ricordi una fava. La trama non è chissà che ma se le cose vengono gestite bene, si può avere un buon prodotto di puro intrattenimento. Invece è una roba tanto assurda e stupida che davvero non so come sia riuscita ad arrivare fin qui. ML diventa uno stalker, un manipolatore della peggior specie, non da alcuno spazio alla protagonista e sinceramente non capisco perchè non cerchi le sue fonti altrove oltre a cercare di spremere FL. Non ha una famiglia, qualcun altro accanto che lo può aiutare? Non ci è dato saperlo.
Alcune vicissitudini all'interno dell'azienda sono assurde, al limite del ridicolo ma cerchi di chiudere un occhio perchè si capisce il livello del drama ma non ce l'ho fatta dopo un po'. Ad una certa il troppo stroppia.

Bem complicado
Precisei respirar fundo várias vezes pra terminar esse drama. O casal é bem legal, mas o excesso de perda de memória foi muito desgastante. Tive a sensação que eu estava reassistindo o drama várias vezes, parece que eu estava presa num looping de perda me memória interminável. Cansativo demais, por isso passei várias cenas, que não acrescentavam em nada pra conseguir terminar.Se não tivesse a segunda (e nada a ver) perda de memória e o tanto de tempo p ele recuperar, o drama seria infinitamente melhor.
Poderia ter sido um clichê mais simples sem amnésias excessivas.
Não é um drama que recomendo, mas assista para tirar suas próprias conclusões.
