Alchemy of Souls is inspired by Chinese Wuxia dramas, and Love and Destiny is one of the finest ones. Lee Heon is the king of Joseon. 7 years ago, when he was a crown prince, his beloved wife died. To this day, he has not been able to get over her death. For the past 7 years, the royal family and government members have tried to get King Lee Heon remarried without success. The nation has also implemented a geumhonryung edict, which is a ban on all single women marrying during this time when the king has not married. People are furious over the marriage ban. One day, King Lee Heon hears of a woman named Ye So Rang, who claims the spirit of the king's late wife exists within the royal palace. Meanwhile, Ye So Rang is a swindler and claims to interpret marital harmony signs. She is arrested and jailed where Officer Lee Shin Won works. To get out of her predicament, she pretends to be possessed by a spirit in front of Lee Shin Won. During her ruse, she mentions that the spirit of King Lee Heon's late wife exists within the royal palace. She is then brought in front of the king and he asks her if she can really see his late wife's spirit. To survive, Ye So Rang acts like her body is possessed by the king's late wife. Ye So Rang's lies get bigger and more audacious.

its also a ruthless ml and sweet girl and enemies to lovers types .revenge story or very awesome . they are like real enemies like stabbing each other but then when they know each other deeply spents time together there feeling gona change . its not the same enemies to lovers story its diff its unique really best ... both

Because of the concept of powers is similar to that in alchemy of souls. But story line is some what different than that.

Both drama have: soul-body swapping, martial arts, intrigues, plots, battles and in general they share a similar atmosphere.

Yu Jin was raised within the desert tribes of Xiong Nu, although her foster father is a Han. Under certain circumstances, she was forced to flee to Chang'an, the then capital of the Early Han Dynasty, changing her name to Jin Yu along the way. Along her journey, she first meets the calm and kind Mo Xun (aka Jiu Ye, ninth master) and later the handsome, cold general Wei Wu Ji. Jin Yu falls for one of them but is rejected. Will she untangle her love knot? Who will she choose in the end?

All I can really say is that if you could make it through all of the ups-and-downs and all the emotional turmoil of time travel in Lovely Runner, then you will be able to handle the more fantastical elements of Alchemy of Souls.

I will say though, that the romance is slower to start in this one, but reaches big heights and continues onto the sequel as well.

Main lead is powerless due to tagic incidents but they are both genius .
they can hold infinite power but their current situation is restricting them to fight and yeah they will improve their strength.

- Female lead looses power and helps Male lead with works until she gains her original powers.
- Male lead with high powers later.

They are historical fantasy tvn kdramas. Both set in fictional country, have many characters and 2 seasons each.

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

both are costume dramas with beautiful visuals and fantasy elements centering around a female assassin and a man who would do anything for her. the female leads are both incredibly strong women with tragic backgrounds whose desire to survive drive them forward. one difference would be that in alchemy of souls, the fl is the teacher and the ml the student, while in bloody romance it's the other way around. alchemy of souls is also more lighthearted than bloody romance, but both dramas do get dark at points.
