Alchemy of Souls

Because of the concept of powers is similar to that in alchemy of souls. But story line is some what different than that.

Both drama have: soul-body swapping, martial arts, intrigues, plots, battles and in general they share a similar atmosphere.

Yu Jin was raised within the desert tribes of Xiong Nu, although her foster father is a Han. Under certain circumstances, she was forced to flee to Chang'an, the then capital of the Early Han Dynasty, changing her name to Jin Yu along the way. Along her journey, she first meets the calm and kind Mo Xun (aka Jiu Ye, ninth master) and later the handsome, cold general Wei Wu Ji. Jin Yu falls for one of them but is rejected. Will she untangle her love knot? Who will she choose in the end?

Comedic film of a fusion-historical genre. Cute lover boy Heo Saek becomes Joseon's first male gisaeng and a flower-like woman named Hae Won who thinks ahead of her time, search for true love together.

At first both MLS just wanted to live freely but eventually they had to take responsibilities.

Unique storyline that are new and never made before.

All I can really say is that if you could make it through all of the ups-and-downs and all the emotional turmoil of time travel in Lovely Runner, then you will be able to handle the more fantastical elements of Alchemy of Souls.

I will say though, that the romance is slower to start in this one, but reaches big heights and continues onto the sequel as well.

Probably the most similarly engaging. Four Seasons (although Choyeon is not Mu Deok) in AoS and Jalgeum Quartet in SS. Strong and smart female lead. Emotionally Intelligent characters.

Main lead is powerless due to tagic incidents but they are both genius .
they can hold infinite power but their current situation is restricting them to fight and yeah they will improve their strength.

- Female lead looses power and helps Male lead with works until she gains her original powers.
- Male lead with high powers later.

Entertaining big families that come close to heart.
The way both dramas deal with family-only dynamics is peaceful.
Full of comedy.
Heart-filling romances.
Double in-law couples.
