A chance can change everything
I first thought it's about yeon and ji a love story only but it's also about rang and yeon brother love i did't expected rang will give his life i think he is my favorite in this drama in 15,16 episodes i can't stop crying because yeon and rang when yeon give up his life for ji a. Rang can't taked it because he have to stab his brother who he love more than anyone in episode 15 rang become a heartbroken person but when yuri married he slowly becoming ok but when rang and ji a met afterlife judge first ji a said she give up but instead of ji a . Rang give up his life for yeon my most painful moment is when rang said goodbye to his family i thinked after yeon cameback yeon will find the way to bring rang back but rang did't cameback it is most sad moment it's be a full happy ending when rang also cameback but it not happen but it is my favorite drama because yeon and rang brother relationship in all story only lovers give sacrifice but in this drama rang give sacrifice to bring his brother back i really liked this dramaWas this review helpful to you?

Worth watching
I love this tv-series, cast, perfect couple, ending with a great message. Harry up! Watch it.'The tale of the nine tailed' has a great story. I love bonding between people.
I have got a perfect moral from this tv-series.
I saw this all episodes with same excitement and goosebumps.
The great acting skills portrait by both hero and heroine.
At my view, this show is horror, thriller, romantic, tragic, comic all together.
I enjoy every episodes. I didn't get bored anyway. So, watch it, must!!
It is perfect. I love it. If you like thriller shows, watch it.

Wrong genre
I really liked it but this should be a horror/action drama. This drama should be about Lee Brothers and not about Jiah and Yeon....-I think the romance is unnecessary (well, not at all because Lee Yeon is doing all that shit for the girl) but this drama shouldn’t be focused on Jiah’s love life. It would be better and MORE interesting if it was focused on the Lee Brothers.... Every time there’s a romantic scene it feels so.... weird... like it shouldn’t be there... It feels like they in the wrong drama
-I hate the fantasy genre because fantasy = using those ugly special effects (reminds me of twilight, ew) but even with that genre and those ugly special effects, it got me hooked; ME, someone who hates Korean dramas. ME, someone who hates episodes longer than 20min.....

Makes sense
I haven’t seen the last 2 episodes but have been reading here. This article made a lot of sense to me. I’m living the series and am anxiously awaiting English subs on last 2 episodes. While many here have disparaged the ending I think the writers left a lot to our attention to the details of each episode which to me had hints of things to come.Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum were outstanding!

Lee Dongwook as Lee Yeon gave us quite an interesting character that occassionally reminds us to Goblin's Grimreaper, which can be quite endearing to watch. Kim Bum as Lee Rang at first glance so far gave an impression that he'd be an interesting villain.
The drama so far do still give homage to many of Korean mythological creatures besides gumiho while also giving us a hint of mystery. It'll be interesting to see what the plot of Tale of the Nine-tailed will show us next.

very good
it's probably one of the dramas I've most enjoyed watching, it seemed that he would spend his time hunting demons but no, the story deepened with a drama related to his brother and his boyfriend, some interesting villains appear over time, and the plot of the two brothers is very interesting at first it seemed that the brother of the protagonist would be those boring villains, but he has a whole story behind, very coolWas this review helpful to you?

I like everything. I'm too lazy to type long. Long story short, I like this story. The acting is also the best.I like everything. I'm too lazy to type long. Long story short, I like this story. The acting is also the best.

I loved
I loved !! I HAVE NO WORDS FOR THIS DRAMA! What can I say about the wonderful performance of the actors? Lee Dong Wook is incredible as always, his expression, the way he fits the character perfectly! the delivery, in addition to Cho Bo Ha, Kim Bum, everyone, I was surprised by Lee Ryong, I hadn't seen him, his performance was so good that it made me completely hate the character as a villain, he's a great actor! Well written story, excellent effects! Not to mention the end! There's romance, mystical things and some losses but in the end everyone gets along! I loved it, one of the best dramas and production I've ever seen! Watch it, you won't regret it!!!Was this review helpful to you?

one of the best drama
This is one of the fantasy kdrama that I’ve watch . it’s so good from the plot , the casts , the effects and the acting . I love how far this drama goes to have a modern fantasy characters live in a modern world with a modern lifestyle too which is so fun to watch . the story reveal the plot one by one is so engaging and interesting. the dynamic between the brothers also fun to watch . The female lead is so smart which I really love her character . she’s so strong to face such a thing from young age .Was this review helpful to you?
Pretty to look at, but the plot’s a snooze—watch for Lee Dong-wook, skip the drama!
Tale of the Nine-Tailed : 8/10 – A Stylish Supernatural Ride That’s More Fluff Than Bite"THE HIGHLIGHTS:
Lee Dong-wook as the smirking, immortal gumiho – Charisma so sharp it could cut glass.
The visual aesthetics – Moody, cinematic, and perfect for autumn binge-watching.
The mythology-laced lore – When it leans into folklore, it shines.
THE "HMM..." MOMENTS:
The romance lacked sizzle – More "pretty people staring" than epic love story.
The villain was… forgettable – For a centuries-old evil, he sure was meh.
Episodes 10-12 slog – Pacing issues hit like a sleepy fox spirit.
STANDOUT SCENES:
The first episode action sequence – Hooked us instantly.
Lee Dong-wook’s red umbrella moment – Iconic, but underutilized.
The historical flashbacks – More of this, please!
VERDICT:
"Like a luxury skincare ad—gorgeous to look at, but light on substance." Watch if: You’re here for Lee Dong-wook’s cheekbones and vibes over plot. Skip if: You need tight storytelling or steamy romance.
